Came here on a Friday night with a group of six. We made a reservation, but we probably could have found a table without one. Very spacious inside and lots of TVs. Our waitress was super friendly. There should be pictures but it was so delicious, it's gone. Their Mac & cheese is epically delicious. The thanksgiving day balls, were the only disappointment. We've been eating them for years, they were a little smaller, but so is everything these days... but they forgot the craisins. So the "cranberry sauce" taste was missing. Soo sad. Here's hoping the beautiful desserts will make up for it. Won't know until later, too full right now. read more

Ordered 2 items to go. French dip sub, that was inedible. Almost every bite I had to spit out because it was so fatty... unchewable. Item 2 was French onion soup that came in a container of spicy hot onion soup and a foil package with 3 slices of Swiss cheese and two small rock hard sub slices (see photo). Will not be going back anytime soon. We use to go quite often but have had bad food too many times. read more

Pizza seemed good but arrived cold from Grubhub delivery. Over $29 for a small pepperoni and mushroom pizza delivered. Won't order take out from them again cause they use Grubhub. I'll go back to other places in town that have their own delivery people! read more

I have been to Solid Slice several times and really enjoyed it. This all changed yesterday. My friend and I were harassed by a man at the bar. He was making loud comments when she inquired why her martini was $19.50. This should have been a conversation between her and the bartender. However the guy at the bar had a lot to say. The manager was called over and he continued to make comments. When my friend told him it was none of his business, the manager threatened to remove both parties. Clearly he was the aggressor but the manager didn't care. We will never be back. read more

Solid Slice offers just that! A solid slice of thin crust pizza! I compare it to the "bar" pizza from the South shore of Boston which is hard to find at least in this area. We had the Fenway pizza (onions, peppers, and sausage) which was really good. I wished it had more sausage on it however. We also shared a wagu smash burger - it was awsome! I never had wagu beef and it was tender and juicy! Fries were noteworthy as well. We had draft beers and great service! I hope to come back soon! read more

Solid Slice Pizzeria & Pub took over the former The Grill Next Door in Haverhill. At the time of this posting, they were only open for takeout & delivery as the restaurant and bar was still being worked on to be opened soon. They offer traditional and specialty thin crust pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, pasta, seafood, chicken, and desserts. The pricing is moderate. I stopped by Solid Slice for takeout recently. I got the Small 10" Pizza with ground sausage & caramelized onions ($11+$2+$1 plus tax) and a Prime Dip Sub with Fries ($17 plus tax). My order was ready in 13 minutes after ordering. The pizza was a thin firm dry chewy crust topped with plenty of red sauce with a mix of ground sausage pieces, sweet caramelized onions and melted mozzarella cheese. The prime dip sub had thin slices of roasted rib meat & melted Swiss cheese on a toasted baguette roll, with au jus for dipping. The small side of fries were the crisp battered kind and salted, ketchup on the side. Overall, the food I ordered was pretty good and I can't wait to return for dine-in service. read more

The service was very good despite the restaurant being very crowded. The food was another matter. We had a hot pretzel appetizer which was solid but things went downhill from there. Pizza is NOT what I'd consider "wood fired" - no char, very hard but insubstantial crust. Toppings and cheese were average at best. We also had a smash burger which was ok but nothing to write home about - meat was cooked to death and a little rubbery, fries were fine. I did see wings go by (we didn't have any) and they did look good - it's probably a fine spot for a beer, wings and to watch some football but if you want good pizza there are much better spots. read more

I took some time to figure out where to get pizza from and I'm so glad I decided to give Solid Slice a try! I did a large cheese and a large pepperoni, and a small pepper, onion, and mushroom. The pizza was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also ordered the chicken tenders, which my picky kids loved! They had a few selections of sauces and we chose ranch and buffalo. I can't wait to try other things from their menu! 10/10 experience. read more

Got a small cheese pizza, the crust was too thin, mostly burnt and tasteless. There was very littlr sauce which had pretty much dried up in the over cooking process. There was very little cheese on it. As I was walking out with tgthe pizza I had to make sure the pizza was really in the box. A large saltine cracker with some sauce an cheese would have been better. Besides the pizza being bad it was expensive, I won't be back. This by far was the worst pizza I've ever had, even frozen supermarket pizza is better! read more

Went for the first time yesterday, we both loved it. Had buffalo tenders and a large half cheese half mushroom pizza. Everything was delicious. The staff are really friendly and service was perfection. The restaurant is very clean, very nice. My only issue which probably sounds dumb, my favorite pizza is extra white onion. They only offer red onion. I asked and it was a no. Can you please offer white onion as a topping!!! Never been to a pizzeria that doesn't offer white onion and the pizza was so good. read more

To start the place was very big and had a nice sporty atmosphere. There were many TVs set up all around the restaurant which played sports games as well as Keno. This did in turn make the restaurant quite loud but still enjoyable. We were sat down very quickly and had our waitress come over immediately to ask us for our drinks. Very quick service drinks were out immediately and we ordered food. We got the Double Smash Burger and the Large Cheese Pizza. The burger was absolutely delicious and the fries were a wonderful crisp but full flavor. For the pizza, it was alright. For the name being Solid Slice I'd expect a better pizza but it was definitely not bad. Will most likely come back for the burgers. read more

Have had two pizzas at Solid Slice, both were delicious. Thin crust, cooked to perfection, tasty sauce and just enough cheese. These pizzas remind me of the South Shore Bar Pizzas, which are very hard to find outside of the South Shore. The place is packed at 4 p.m. and the service was excellent. Cute ambiance as well. The crust is great on their pizza, the rest not so much. The sauce is tasteless if you can find any and the cheese is overwhelming. The "Thanksgiving balls" are dry and have no remnants of turkey in them. Gravy has to be from a can. The "haddock" was a frozen pre-made patty that had been massively overcooked. The Chicken parm had a great piece of chicken and a good roll but the sauce from there is bland to say the least. We ordered 3 times got our first 2 orders no problem, then the third time paid and got a "on the way" notification, then crickets. Food never delivered and the place closed. Junk kid. read more

I would recommend for pizza takeout. Delicious pizza. Hated the atmosphere and lack of service for eat-in. Literally NO SERVICE. You are seated at your table and told you have to use QR code to order all your own food and drinks.
