    Chicken Parmesan

After many years of going by and never stopping in, we decided to go to Pasta Loft for lunch. The foyer or lobby when you first walk in is extremely old and carpet is very soiled. Not a great first impression. Its pretty puzzling for first timers because you have to walk all the way in down a hallway, past the bar to find where someone to seat you. There is seating upstairs and downstairs. We sat upstairs by a window that looked out at the outdoor patio. We got soft drinks to start. We decided to get clam chowder to share. It was OK. I was not super hungry so I got a quesadilla. Hubby got Chicken Parmesan. My quesadilla was average and I ate a few pieces. Hubby said his Chicken Parmesan was very good. All in all, not a bad experience.

Located in East Hampstead, the Pasta Loft serves solid good Italian American fare and brick oven pizza at moderate prices in a casual setting. The restaurant has two areas, the Brick House Tavern in the front and the main dining rooms in the back. The Brick House Tavern has a loud and busy atmosphere. There's table seating around the bar, TVs, digital jukebox, and the open brick oven pizza kitchen (you can watch them make pizzas). Drink specials are offered here, as well as live entertainment on some nights. On Tuesdays, it's Hoot Night (7PM-10PM) when it's open mic & bring your own acoustic guitar and $2 beers. The main dining area is a good place to enjoy a nice relaxing meal without the craziness in the tavern. Each table has red linen table cloth covered a brown paper sheet cover and candlelight. Kids can ask for crayons and doodle right on the brown paper, similar to Romano's Macaroni Grill. As for the food, a sampling of the menu is available online at http://www.pastaloft.com The menus on the website seem outdated with variations in prices and more items offered on the current menu. They serve up not just the typical Italian pasta dishes, pizzas & calzones, but also steaks, seafood, chicken, prime rib, salads, soups, burgers, appetizers, children's menu, daily specials, and desserts. All desserts are $5.00 including Choc'late Lovin' Spoon Cake, Cheesecake, Peanut Butter Pie, Tiramisu, Brownie Sundae, Oreo Cookie Bash, [Choc Lava Cake, Toll House Cookie Pie, Caramel Apple Granny, & Pecan Pie]. ----[served with vanilla ice cream] The dinner portions here are generous, reflected in the moderate prices ranging from $9.95 to $22.95. Dinner entrees include salad, choice of pasta and bread. I believe the Milford Oval location also offers soup with dinner entrees, a little more bang over there. There is also a $3.00 plate charge on shared meals. The brick oven pizzas are pretty good here with my favorite being the Feasta (hot capicola, sweet sausage, pepperoni, & spicy meatballs, chunky pizza sauce and mozzarella). The basket of hot crusty bread is served with butter and olive oil with fresh garlic cloves for dipping. The dinner salad has a plate of the typical iceberg lettuce, mixed greens, cherry tomato, onions, mushrooms, croutons, and dressing. The Fettuccine Alfredo is very good which has a smooth creamy cheese taste. My dinner favorite is the Pasta Loft's Combo ($18.95) which offers a sampling of traditional Italian food including lasagna, real veal parmesan, chicken parmesan, meatball, & sausage topped with a very hearty and rich meat sauce and served with a side of pasta (spaghetti, ziti, linguine or bowtie) with sauce. On my last recent visit in the dining room, the service was courteous and very attentive with refills on drinks (free soda refills), more bread & oil offered, and timely delivery of food. HOURS: Open daily at 11:30 AM until 8:30 PM (Sun-Mon), 9:00 PM (Tues-Wed), and 9:30 PM (Thurs-Sat). The dining room is closed on Mondays, but the tavern is open! LOCATION: Please note that there are two Main Streets in the Town of Hampstead. Pasta Loft is located at 220 East Main Street (NH 121A), just south of NH 111 in East Hampstead, 03826 and NOT at 220 Main Street (NH 121) in Hampstead, 03841 which is the Post Office building on the west side of town.

    Pasta Loft Buffalo Chicken Pizza

I go to Pasta Loft on a regular basis and usually they are very good. My wife enjoyed her meal but mine was very lack luster. I ordered a Buffalo chicken pizza with extra chicken.it had very little chicken on the pizza and the picture I'm including shows what a disappoint it was.... Every time I go there, I order pizza and it is usually very very good but I've noticed when Patrick the owner is not there the staff slips a bit and specifically the person cooking pizza. I tried to leave a comment on their website, but apparently you cannot leave comment to give them a heads up when they are not doing a good job. That pizza was embarrassing..... Patrick you business is better than this. This is the third time in six months I have ordered and paid for extra toppings and didn't get them.... I expect to pay for extra, but when I get less than what is supposed to be there....please. My next pizza review for Pasta Loft will be on One Bite.... Good or bad When Patrick is not there..... they are average!

two propane gas cylinders on the ground

Foods great. We were chilly on the deck. They have 7 propane patio heaters out there. We asked if they could turn them on. They said they didn't have propane in them there were 3 blue rino tanks on the lower patio.

Baked Haddock, cooked perfectly, not shown is a side salad w mixed greens. They make a great homemade balsamic salad dressing.

Hadn't been here for a very long time. Went w several friends and I was pleasantly surprised by the food and service. The menu has expanded into a solid selection of American and Italian dishes w burgers, fish dishes and sandwiches offered. We opted for a table in the back room where the noise level is lowest. The center of the restaurant is open w wooden flooring and no barriers for the noise but folks there were having a great time. Our group all liked the food: prime rib, baked haddock and Caesar Chicken salad. Adequate parking. A ramp makes this restaurant handicap accessible. Value for what you receive - generous portion, well prepared, our waitstaff was terrific. Not impressed w another waitress who was maskless making a general announcement to patrons in the main area of the restaurant her dissatisfaction of having to wear a mask. "Exercising of my rights to my boss to not wear a mask at work". We don't care, do the patrons need this drama? We are out to enjoy dinner, friends and family, a happy time at the Pasta Loft. If you are unhappy, just quit.

If delivering beyond say five or 10 minutes does not work for your business model then don't offer it. My house is 13 minutes from this business. And I ordered a few weeks ago couple of pizzas, a sub and a salad. Everything tasted fine. The salad did not have much steak on it, but I understand this economy. It was a busy Friday night. They asked me to tip driver well and they make you give a tip over the phone on your if you're not paying cash, you cannot make the decision after. This time I called. They argued about the tip I wanted to leave. I was getting one pizza, half topping half cheese. They argued with me over the phone about giving him at least a $10 tip. I decided to cancel my order, thanked them and hung up the phone. It was just very pushy and not good customer service to argue with your customer about how much they are tipping the driver. We are a big family and I do typically make a larger order. Today was just a one off. I was hoping to get just a pizza and not spend $30+, it's a shame honestly because I frequently like to order large orders for parties and other get togethers and will not be doing it from Kingston of Pizza. Please just don't offer delivery if it doesn't make sense for your business. you can use say Google Maps, put in the address and if it's over 8-10 minutes, kindly tell your customer, unfortunately you are outside out delivery area.
