I like this place because it has great food options and great food. Keno, bathrooms, and ok service! I did see my waiter talking to the other waiters and looking back at me and my family which made me feel uncomfortable. Also, I got chocolate milk and she sniffed the milk before pouring, also make me feel uncomfortable. In addition, inside is pretty small but they make the small room work and fit the perfect amount of things including bar, keno area, and bathrooms. Usually over 20- 30 + minutes. -There is no standing room to get a beer at the bar and wait. -Specials- I like the offered specials, esp the smoked meat offering. We were very pleasantly surprised by the food. I ordered the New York Strip with onion rings and green beans while my son had the chicken parmesan. Quesadilla filled with pulled chicken and cheese. Plenty of gravy and cheese on the poutine, but not wicked soggy fries. Pretzel very soft and cheese was very good. Cocktails were very good. Kept hearing rave reviews so my daughter and I thought we'd check it out. Service was excellent, atmosphere was loud and food was disappointing. I had the Chicken Caesar wrap with fries (fries were good), but CC wrap tasted sour. My daughter had the Fire Braised Ribs with coleslaw. I've had some excellent meals at Picas grill and the deli. I finally brought my wife and daughter to check it out and it was not good at all. It may take me awhile before I go again. Maybe they had a new cook on the grill? Haddock overcooked and very bland, steak tips a bit over cooked (requested medium), the start of the meal was our indicator. We received a salad with tomatoes so far gone they were sour. Brussels sprouts were inedible. The floors were dirty too. I've had great burgers and amazing cheesesteaks and salads at the deli. Got their famous meatball sub and it was okay. Chicken park sub was okay. Ice cream is very good. Try the burger at the restaurant and the cheesesteak or Greek salad at the deli. read more

Small, but quaint place. Hostesses and servers were super friendly and welcoming. We had a large party, but they accommodated us in the small space. Very clean and nice decor. Hubby ordered the clucking pig and said it was quite good. I ate some of his french fries (and I'm pretty picky about my fries) and they were gooooood- crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect. I ordered the mediterranean wrap and it was delicious. So much chicken! I got 2 meals out of it! I ordered the homemade chips as my side, and they were as delicious as the fries. Fabulous. 4 stars instead of 5 stars because one of the orders in my party was quite disappointing. He had ordered a burger medium-well, and it looked great on the outside, but when he cut it in half, it was RAW on the inside...like ground meat straight out of the styrofoam package. The restaurant did us good though, and did not charge us for the burger. Would recommend this establishment, just but cautious on the burgers! read more

Honestly, used to be a great place but the servers accommodate "their" buddies and ignore the rest. It was so blatant that they focused on friends and the rest are just bar casualties. I was just there today and after 40 minutes of being ignored I checked out but they couldn't understand WHY when I said I was ignored for 40 minutes and had to go in a different direction. The food USED to be good but now is just average (at best - totally bland and not much variety). I would avoid if you want a reasonable place to eat for both food and atmosphere. I've been here several times and everything I've tried is absolutely delicious. Their meatballs, their burgers, The Ruben, the Cuban, spinach, artichoke dip... Those are all of my favorites. It is a smaller place, so expect a wait service was very friendly, and at the bar at the two times I sat there as well as at the table seating, which we have set up a few times as well. If you enjoy playing Kino, they have that as well as Massachusetts scratch tickets that you can purchase and play while you're enjoying your food or beverage. The only downside is the music is a little loud maybe because of the loft Ceilings and they played us a very weird variety of music. But that wouldn't deter me from going back. read more

We have been wanting to try Picas for a long time but every time we drive by it's always packed. Today when deciding where to go for lunch with my daughter I suggested Picas, all I really wanted was a good burger. Lucky for us we got there early and Michelle our waitress was attentive and we enjoyed meeting her. After seeing the specials I forgot about my craving but flipped the menu over and decided to try a burger with the jam and shoestring onion rings. It did not disappoint! The Good: Excellent steak tips and tenders. Everything we have tried there has been very good to excellent. Friendly staff, food comes out hot and the beers are ice cold. The bad: It's very loud, and it's not helped by the horrible music they play at a slightly too loud volume, which causes everyone in the restaurant/bar to loudly talk over it. The music thing makes no sense at all. The average crowd age is always mid-late 40s to early 50s and older, yet they play droning house music, with a bit of hip hop in the mix. The overall atmosphere would be improved dramatically by changing to a classic rock station and lowering the volume of the music just a bit. I recommend them for their food, but might stick to take out unless they resolve the music-volume issue. read more

I stumbled upon this local whilst driving to the mall. I wanted to try it since it was pretty new to the area. I went in and they have all the plastic partitions located around each table. A local Facebook group had raved about this place, we've driven by several times and decided to go today (Sat) around 3 PM. It was steadily busy but we didn't have a problem finding a seat. Many young servers, local crowd based on the reactions of the wait staff. We started with a garden salad with balsamic on the side to share and me, the medium rare blue burger, no bun with fries and the hubby the video valet burger with onion strings as his side. Ice water for both. Garden salad was fresh, nothing to write home about. Burgers took an additional 10 minutes or so after we finished our salads to arrive. I requested mine either in a lettuce wrap or with lettuce on the side, no bun. The burgers were cooked perfectly, juicy but without a pile of grease on our plates (when done). Mine was loaded with creamy, soft blue cheese, red onions and tomatoes. The video valet was topped with melted cheese served with lettuce, tomato's and red onion. The bun was slightly larger than the burger. Both were very good. The fries aren't hand cut but they were hot and crispy. The onion strings were cooked well done, which is fine by me because they were very crispy. We did not find the fries or the onion strings greasy. Overall a solid 4 star experience. Our server never stopped by after she delivered the burgers, my water glass was empty shortly after my 2nd bite of my burger and though she walked by several times she never noticed I was out. I had to ask when she brought the tab. Our table was near the front door and each time the door opened, I received a blast of cold air. I couldn't imagine the discomfort in the dead of winter. I guess this place is just for drinking because the food I had was lacking. I wonder if they've ever seen an actual Greek salad. The blandest dressing I guess that's why they gave me two flavorless portions on the side, pica's used to be well known for their pizza. on the trip to the beach. It was a place my family would stop at . people would drive out of the way to pick up A pizza from the old pica's. now There's no pizza on the menu ... place has nothing to do with the original Picas people know from their youth. The place was crowded. People were chomping at the bit, waiting for us to free up our seats. side orders are really side orders . the Greek salad was inundated with gobs of bland, feta cheese. no kick to the salad whatsoever. It was also full of olives, most lacking in the salad was the lack of Green leaf or anything vegetable. The tomatoes were mealy. absolutely boring I really could've used a healthy salad instead of a feta pudding i got old . i wanted pizza from the past. I wish I brought my camera because a picture speaks volumes. oh well a lot of people seemed pleased. read more

First time visiting Pica's and we weren't disappointed. Wings and the 4 variety sauces were to die for. They had a Smokey succulent flavor. The steak tips were highly recommended and my husband absolutely loved them, along with the Brussels and tots. The jamburger was amazing, best Iv'e had.
