I had spoken with Greg, who's professional and knowledgeable approach to technology caught my attention. Then, on the day of my appt, I spoken with Sherri, who was so sweet and personable. Unfortunately, the reason why they could not fix my son's laptop, was due to the fact that the warranty it was under had it's own company who worked on it ( I didn't find that out until Greg was able to unlock it and notify me right away). He even got me ALL the info I needed to get it to where it needed to go, along with a free shipping label! Talk about customer service!! Instead, the whole process has been very impersonal, like dealing with some no-name large company, not a locally run company. Despite asking for an experienced technician to call to help with the computer issue (Chrome throwing up an error message several times a day) a young-sounding man called who despite knowing what the problem was in advance, had done nothing to prepare for the call. He didn't have any ideas regarding how to correct the issue I was experiencing with the Chrome browser. He checked a few things that I had checked a million times. This was a complete waste of money and I still haven't received an invoice from the company, but today I received a harassing text from some company called SquareUp threatening to turn the bill over to collections if they don't receive payment. Have no idea if it's regarding the non-work done by Roswell Computer or not since I'm still waiting for an invoice from them. When I looked up the number, it's from a place called Atlanta Repair Computer Service and NOT from Roswell Computer Repair, so have no idea if it's even the same company. Update: Talked with Roswell Computer Company today and they claimed to have emailed an invoice and stated my email correctly. However, when the representative started spelling out the email, he stopped and said that they had a typo in the email address and that's why I hadn't received it. He corrected their typo and the email arrived shortly aftward. Avoid this company! They do not have experienced technicians contact you even when you specifically ask for that. They waste your time doing some of the things you've already done. Matt Karls, the friendly face on the website, will not be calling you or coming to your home to help with your computer.

I spoke with one of the representatives who was kind enough to make sure that they had the repair kit for my phone available, and told me while she was looking that even if it was not readily available they would go get one to make sure that they were able to perform the job for me. I really appreciate her for that. Thankfully they did have a kit that met the needs of my phone available. I asked her what the price was going to be, thinking that it would be upwards of $100. To my surprise, it was $50! I asked her what the availability to have the screen fixed was and she told me she could do it now because it would take her at most 45 minutes. I was really shocked! I have had my screen fixed before and it took 24 hours! To further my surprise it actually only ended up taking her about 30 minutes. I do not know what she did or how she did it, but the screen fixe has made my calls clearer and seems to have also made the phone function better. She was even able to tell me after she fixed it whether or not there was any water damage. Color me impressed, but you do not get great customer service like this today. He had taken a deposit up-front and 3 weeks later said he would not make the repair and would only give part of our deposit money back. Bill went above and beyond the call of duty by talking to the other repair person for us and offering to meet with that person if need be. Bill fixed our laptop in a timely manner and at a cheaper rate then the other repair person that had given us all the problems. Not only that, he gave us a loaner laptop to use while the repair was being made so we wouldn't be without a computer. Throughout the process he was very friendly and very helpful.
