It feels like people overlook the obvious: this is a small (by LA Fitness standards)…read moremembership-based gym, and you really do need to read your contract - any contract. That said, my girlfriend just signed up, and honestly, the terms were pretty straightforward--nothing complicated. I've been with LA Fitness for over 20 years across three states and even in Canada. It's not a boutique gym with luxury perks like spa treatments, dim lighting, or personal attendants--it's a high-volume gym that serves all kinds of people. They offer a solid range of amenities: classes, yoga, aquafit, core workouts, cycling, and usually a pool and a basketball court. Some have sauna and whirlpool. The Menifee location is on the smaller side, so yes, during peak hours it can be tough to access equipment. But that's just reality--you can only fit so many people into a limited space. Several nearby locations have more size and thus more amenities like a sprint track and weight sled. Not so at Minifee ... they just don't have the space. Understood. Sure, a deep clean every now and then wouldn't hurt, but it's not like the place is neglected. Staff are regularly cleaning floors and wiping down equipment throughout the day. Moreover I've always found the staff the be friendly attentive, and they answer the phone. At the end of the day, it's a busy, compact gym with decent machines, enough free weights, plus pools a basketball court that offers several fitness classes. If all that isn't worth about $1.50 a day to you, then maybe it's time to look elsewhere and see what that budget gets you.

Well as I walked back to the bathroom area it started to smell like an alley in Tijuana. The Urine smell was so strong, the cleanliness has been slacking and the last thing I want to smell especially first thing in the morning is a strong urine smell. Let's get it together LA fitness with the amount all members pay, the least you can do is keep the restroom clean and start each day with a clean fresh facility, maybe it's too much to ask?

From the moment you walk in, the environment feels welcoming, motivating, and genuinely supportive. The staff always greets people with kindness, the gym stays clean, and there's a positive energy here that makes you want to keep showing up for yourself. What I appreciate most is that this gym feels like a community. No matter where someone is in their fitness journey, there's space for everyone here without judgment or pressure. Some days people come in to build strength, other days just to clear their mind, and Fitness 19 creates an environment where both matter. I'm genuinely grateful for the consistency, encouragement, and atmosphere this place provides. It's rare to find a gym that feels this comfortable while still pushing you to become a better version of yourself. I highly recommend Fitness 19 to anyone looking for more than just a place to work out.

If you're looking for a gym that doubles as an endurance test for your immune system, Fitness 19…read moremight be your spot. The bathrooms are consistently filthy--like "did anyone ever clean this?" filthy. The toilets alone could qualify as a biohazard training scenario. Most of the equipment is either dusty, broken, or both, which really adds to the rustic, abandoned-warehouse aesthetic. Weights are never put back in any recognizable order, so every workout starts with a scavenger hunt. The 3 AM morning staff seems very committed to socializing--with members and each other--but less committed to things like taking out the trash, wiping down equipment, or addressing the science experiment happening in the bathrooms. Watching conversations continue while trash overflows and grime builds character, I guess. Overall, if cleanliness and basic sanitation matter to you, this probably isn't the gym. If not, congrats--you'll feel right at home.

When I…read morefirst went to the informational meeting I was beyond hesitant because of the "temporary cost" it would take me to begin my challenge. I say temporary because if you put in the work, the time, and follow the plan 6 weeks down the road that money is all yours. I saw everyone around me sign the contact and I said to myself, if they can commit, why can't I ? So moments after l, there I was signing away. Day one of working out I puked and I thought ... am I made for this? Can I even keep up? And the answer is yes to all your negative thoughts, you can do it, you can keep up, you got this! And when your negative thoughts come back to you, the staff is there to remind you what you're capable of, to motivate you, and to get you to accomplish your goal! I LOVE all the trainers, they motivate you, push you, and are there every step of the way! The staff is amazing and very helpful. Lastly, the members are also with you, they're also going through challenges or workouts, and motivate you every time they push you'll want to push too. We're all there for the same purpose to bring one another up! To cut this story short 6 weeks down the road I stepped on the scale and just made the 20lbs. I had options when it came to my money and getting it back. My decision was to use the money for the membership because the camp got me started... now the camp will keep me going Thanks The camp Menifee!

They offered a free Spring Break sports camp for kids. The first day was a basketball day, the second was a volleyball day and the third was a fun zone day (musical chairs and mostly dodge ball). The camps were split up by age group, which I thought was super appropriate. My 10 year old enjoyed learning the sports as she's never played any of them. The coaches were knowledgeable, kind and inclusive. They made sure the kids were following the rules and participating without being pushy. This sports camp was just the right amount of time for my daughter to figure out which one she wants to continue. Each day was full of drills that were a good mix of easy, medium and difficult skills. My daughter was able to make friends so that was a plus! The parking lot does not seem suitable for this size park, with this many events going on at the same time. Other than that the place is just OK nothing special. Honorable Mention: Parking on Saturdays is horrible

I love every instructor I've had, (but I do have my favorites) and they all always grace and modifications, should I need it. As someone who works full-time, has kids in many activities and a very full social calendar I love that I can do this for just me and I feel amazing every time I finish a class. The only negative comment I have is that classes fill up very quickly (I'm not the only one in love!) so it's important to stay on top of scheduling. The positive regarding scheduling is they have 20 to 30 classes a day throughout their Temecula, Murrieta, and Menifee locations.

I'd been thinking about it but just never went ahead with a trial or anything. Welp, that ended today. I didn't see them on Yelp, so what's an Elite to do?! Start them off on the right foot of course!! I don't think a lot of people know about them, so help me spread the word!! Went in for the 5:30pm class and it was rough, but I went through the motions led by Master Lee and just did the damn thang!! Lol...did I die? Nope...but I sure did feel like it at the end!! Listen up kids, don't fall back or it'll be hard to get back on! That being said, don't let this place scare you. You get breaks in between.
