This is the first time in a long time I've been able to be committed to working out. I started at Pilates and Co. with the new member special which was 4 classes for $45, I quickly realized 4 classes wasn't enough. I am now on their unlimited plan and try to go 4 to 5 times a week. That's how much I love it. I love every instructor I've had, (but I do have my favorites) and they all always grace and modifications, should I need it. As someone who works full-time, has kids in many activities and a very full social calendar I love that I can do this for just me and I feel amazing every time I finish a class. The only negative comment I have is that classes fill up very quickly (I'm not the only one in love!) so it's important to stay on top of scheduling. I have been going to Pilates for over a year now and have seen such a transformation within my physical and mental health. I first started going with the "first client special" package that they offer (4 classes for $75) and instantly got hooked. After those 4 classes I signed up for 4 classes a month and after a couple months of getting to know the studio and instructors I became more confident in myself, thinking I can take on more classes. I ended up taking a leap and going for the unlimited package which only made me want to start going 3-4 times a week (sometimes more if my schedule allows me to). I would say after only 3 months of having the unlimited package, that's when I saw major changes. I appreciate all of the staff that is so supportive and knowledgeable. Katie and Olivia have build such a strong, positive, and supportive community and I can't wait to see how much more they accomplish! First time here. Free class offered on the Mindbody app. Located in Menifee near IHOP on Murrieta and Newport. Decent parking out front but can get tight after work hours. Ashley was warm and welcoming and explained everything I needed to know to get through the class. They have reformer machines throughout the facility and they give you everything you need (dowels, mats, weights, etc.). The studio itself is clean and laid out perfectly with mirrors on both sides so that you can watch your form. You might think pilates "isn't much of a workout," but I really encourage you to try it at least once. Yes I dropped some sparkle juice on the floor which tells me I was doing something right!! =) I've been trying out a lot of different gyms to see what they have to offer. I can tell you The Pilates Co. delivers a very low impact workout but you will still feel a nice burn!! The class went pretty quickly and was over before I knew it. I did knock off a star because even though Ashley was really nice, she spoke super fast!! She did say in the beginning to let her know if she was going too fast, but I just went with it and watched the other people around me. I still got a good workout in though. If you're looking to try something different from your usual routine, I'd say give pilates a shot! Your muscles deserve some good stretching! ;) read more

It's unfortunate I have to write this negative review, but customer service at this business is sadly lacking. I booked a 10AM class at the Murrieta location and accidentally showed up at the Menifee spot. The instructor was very unfriendly and unhelpful, (never caught her name because she did not bother to introduce herself), and never checked anyone into class. I was fifteen minutes early and would been able to contact the other studio if I had known. I am new to the area and mixed the names up of the towns, but when class started and the instructor was making me leave in front of the entire class, she acted like I was an idiot. Besides the unfriendly and unhelpful instructor, I contacted customer service fairly quickly and have not heard back for two business days. I don't take writing a negative review lightly for a small business, but since management has neglected to respond this is my only option. I would recommend trying another studio in town for friendlier instructors and better business practices. read more

I have been holding off on writing this review. What can I say? I love the instructors. I love Pilates, but there's a big flaw. Their booking system needs to be revamped. I've been coming here for almost 2 years and it is so hard to get booked into a class. You can be on a waiting list for a class for a couple of weeks and still not get in. One of the other issues I've encountered is being one on the list for a class, example that is at 9:30 AM. It's already 9:00AM. Someone ends up canceling I should automatically be booked into the class which I have been before in the same situation but sometimes the notification system will ask you if you want the class and then you go to book it immediately and someone else has already taken it even though there was no one else on the waiting list. It's extremely frustrating. Especially when you're a member and trying to be consistent no one should have to fight to possibly be get into a class. I think people who have a membership or who have been members for a while should have priority booking. I really hope they come up with something because paying for a membership you can't fully use is frustrating. 5 stars for the instructors and 1 star for membership! read more

I love The Pilates Co! I'm a 20 year old college student with two jobs and loads of homework, so you can only imagine that it's pretty hard to make time for being active too. I can imagine it's the same for tons of other kinds of people -- parents, people with full-time jobs, and just about everyone else trying to make it by. But The Pilates Co. and their instructors make being active fun and fulfilling! If you're nervous about starting, don't be. I know I definitely was....but all of the instructors are kind to their cores. There's such a lovely make-up of people who are teaching the classes you'll be in. Just had my 2nd class at the pilates co. 1st class was pretty dang intimidating walking in. I've never done pilates & there's so much equipment I'm not used to. But at the end of the class I felt stronger than I've felt in a long time. I was invigorated & excited for more. I was so tired before my 2nd class but really pushed myself to go. I thought well... here's to pilates kicking my ass today! But I kicked ass! Once again, I felt so good after & was glad I went. I'd like to add that I have fibromyalgia. So pain & fatigue is a real thing for me constantly. But the different movements in pilates along with the low impact has made this a doable exercise for me. I feel sore a day or 2 later but it's that "good sore" letting you know you accomplished something and are building muscle back! I'm happy I found this place & plan on making it a regular exercise routine. Hoping to be able to add more classes into my crazy schedule. read more

I have been looking for a Pilates studio to attend since my previous studio did not survive the pandemic. I signed up for a 7am class online and arrived a few minutes early in case I needed to sign a waiver. When I entered, there was an employee at the desk on her phone (really no issue-it's 655am) but her attitude was something else. She shot her eyes up at me and back down to her phone "can I help you?" ...I did my best to force an awkward smile and said it was my first class and asked if I needed to sign anything. She told me I was early-an hour early. I checked my confirmation text, it said 7. She sighed at me and asked if it was a private lesson. I said No, it was a class that I signed up for... she said i came to the wrong studio and that I should've gone to Temecula... honesty she just was so unwelcoming and I left, got in my car and went home crying. I don't know what I did to make her treat me that way or not want to help me reschedule or fix the mistake. It took a lot for me to try to get out of my comfort zone, go somewhere new, and I was met with disgust by a stranger. The lovely kicker was the little auto SMS text message i got the next day that i was a "no show". I literally went to a different studio that charges DOUBLE the price than here and signed up simply because they were nice to me. **Update: To add, this occurrence happened a week prior to this review. I wrote the review because it really did hurt, even a week later, and I didn't write it in a malicious way. An owner, Katie, reached out to me the following day and apologized. She never tried to justify the employees actions and offered the most sincere apology ever. That takes a lot of guts and heart to reach out to someone who had negative feedback for your business and take accountability for something SHE DIDN'T DO. Maybe this studio will be an option in the future for me. Katie had a very sincere and redeeming personality and I appreciate her apology and phone call. read more

I just moved here from OC and I am so glad to find this place near my home in Lake Elsinore. I have been taking pilates in OC for years, and I must say this place is the bomb! This place is amazing! I have an old knee injury that will soon need a knee replacement so I am very limited with what I can do for exercise. I absolutely despise water aerobics so someone recommended I try Pilates. I'm glad I did, it is easy on my joints, easy to do modifications for my bad knee, and man oh man do I sweat in this class... There's many variations in this class such as the use of the reformer, small yoga ball, yoga ring, barre, weights, mat, jump board, and TRX. To anyone who thinks Pilates is easy- IT IS NOT EASY WHATSOEVER... which is good because I need this challenge! I almost compare it to childbirth labor; it is pretty intense but in the end it's all worth it especially Gina's class, she really works us lol! Before Pilates, I was not able to easily get from lying to sitting up very easily or even get up from a chair gracefully. Now I feel stronger and can do those actions quite easily, plus my jeans are looser which is a big plus! People may complain about the price, but you can't put a price on your health. This place is very clean, the classes are not crowded (probably max is 10-12) and the instructors are professional and knowledgeable with all aspects of exercise and alignment.
