I've been going to f45 since March! Love the community and…read morecoaches! I still love the workouts with the ability to see on the screens exactly what I need to do. The coaches also come around to correct form if needed. What I love most is walking in and being greeted by the coaches, they all take the time to remember everyone's name. Yesterday was my 100th class with F45, I love that they celebrate your milestones with you! Even got the most thoughtful card from Coach Starla! Everyone is amazing! Thank you so much Coach Starla, Paige, Caitlin, Bree, Eva, Brianna, Nancy, Sean, Jacob, Michelle, Gemma, Mauricio, Naomi! Might be leaving some out but they are all amazing! Excited for my next 100 classes!

Thirsty how thirsty do you ask? Very thirsty because I literally joined this gym. I will give…read moreeverybody the inside out of it. I'm already paying for it so I might as well complain about it. I'm stuck paying for it even to today even though I joined March 23rd went 4 days in total and canceled on Easter. First of all, if anybody's wondering there's no free trial. It's $25 just to show up even though other locations will give you a free trial. This one will not because they know how they are so they want to pressure you to join so they will tell you $25 to go for one day or $55 to go for a week. Sounds like a great deal, right? Not so fast because as soon as you sign for your credit card to get $55 a week, you're actually in very deep because I've already paid over $400 for my four times going there. I initially was planning to go to revamp my body because I have done that before but me being a older mother with children I told them I did not want to go into a contract until I saw that I can commit to their schedule because their hours are very extremely limited. Like literally they only have the latest class in the morning till 9:30 and two evening classes before 7:00. You know so for a parent, the classes are almost inaccessible unless you wake up super early because they're like literally when we're taking our kids to school or when we're making dinner and doing homework. Anyways, coaches were nice but I got injured from the first day and I kept telling them I was injured and I could not continue to hurt my legs and for the next three classes I took they continued to insist that I hurt my legs so I could not go anymore and now they're punishing me for that and I hope everybody else does not do what I do and just sign up because literally once they have your card in your hand they literally put you on a contract that you do not get in your hand. It's literally a signature pad on a credit card. I really had high hopes for this gym. I had really good luck at diamond cut fitness. You can see my review on there. I had a good weight loss. I wanted the same thing from this place but they pushed me too hard and it's so messy on this gym. Nobody is communicating. Everybody is a different person every time you go and nobody actually listens to what you say about pain they will push you beyond your limits and act like it's your fault.

The steam room has been completely redone, the new tile looks great, the gym is clean, and there's brand new equipment throughout. Anytime I address something negative about a business, I also want to acknowledge when they make things right -- and they absolutely did. Huge improvement all around. Nothing more you can ask for. Great job to the entire team. Five stars.

After I checked in, she informed me that a photo was now required for member check-ins due to a new policy from upper management. I explained that I was unaware of the policy and would be happy to take the photo on a different day, but offered to provide my ID for verification in the meantime. Her response was, "Then you can't come in," delivered in a dismissive and unprofessional manner. When I asked to speak with someone else in charge, she replied, "It's me, and I'm not asking anyone else for you on the weekend." I understand that policies change and employees are expected to enforce them. My concern is not with the policy itself (although I do think something should be posted to set clear expectations), but with the way the situation was handled. As a long-time member, I expected a much more respectful and customer-focused interaction. If Brianna is indeed your new GM, I would encourage additional training in professionalism and member relations, as experiences like this can drive away loyal clients.

I'm back in the gym scene, peeps!! Level 12 has been following me on the gram for quite some time…read morenow. When a former gym member from my old gym contacted me to try it out, I was game. I'd been thinking about it but just never went ahead with a trial or anything. Welp, that ended today. I didn't see them on Yelp, so what's an Elite to do?! Start them off on the right foot of course!! I don't think a lot of people know about them, so help me spread the word!! Went in for the 5:30pm class and it was rough, but I went through the motions led by Master Lee and just did the damn thang!! Lol...did I die? Nope...but I sure did feel like it at the end!! Listen up kids, don't fall back or it'll be hard to get back on! That being said, don't let this place scare you. You get breaks in between. Of course if you're a beginner, you just go at your own pace and do the best you can. They're happy to accommodate all fitness levels. What they offer: - 30 minute circuit interval training (Kickboxing included!) - 12 Levels - Full body exercise with warm up and cool down stretching - Taekwondo classes for all levels - Family friendly - Self defense courses - Clean facility - Plenty of FREE parking - 24 hr. access for members I definitely needed this! Come out and give them a try. Get off the couch and have some fun, make new friends and have fun doing it!! You'll be glad you did! Maybe I'll see ya there! ;)

There's 8 heavy bags of different sizes and shapes to perform an array of punch and/or kicks on. 2 stations that time you on how many front kicks and punches you can do within a minute. And a tire flip station and a sled push station, then there's a rest minute in between stations that you will perform another exercise such as battle ropes, burpees, crunches, TRX band, deadlifts, box jumps etc...for 30 seconds and then rest for the remainder 30 seconds. Every week the workouts change so it's not boring at all! I have been going 6 days a week for the past 5 weeks! I can't get enough and the strength, stamina and weight loss I'm feeling is amazing! I have a 5 month old babygirl that I tend to so being able to get a hardcore workout in 30 minutes plus being able to take her with me to class is priceless!! If you're looking for an intense but quick workout! This is the place you need to be!!

It feels like people overlook the obvious: this is a small (by LA Fitness standards)…read moremembership-based gym, and you really do need to read your contract - any contract. That said, my girlfriend just signed up, and honestly, the terms were pretty straightforward--nothing complicated. I've been with LA Fitness for over 20 years across three states and even in Canada. It's not a boutique gym with luxury perks like spa treatments, dim lighting, or personal attendants--it's a high-volume gym that serves all kinds of people. They offer a solid range of amenities: classes, yoga, aquafit, core workouts, cycling, and usually a pool and a basketball court. Some have sauna and whirlpool. The Menifee location is on the smaller side, so yes, during peak hours it can be tough to access equipment. But that's just reality--you can only fit so many people into a limited space. Several nearby locations have more size and thus more amenities like a sprint track and weight sled. Not so at Minifee ... they just don't have the space. Understood. Sure, a deep clean every now and then wouldn't hurt, but it's not like the place is neglected. Staff are regularly cleaning floors and wiping down equipment throughout the day. Moreover I've always found the staff the be friendly attentive, and they answer the phone. At the end of the day, it's a busy, compact gym with decent machines, enough free weights, plus pools a basketball court that offers several fitness classes. If all that isn't worth about $1.50 a day to you, then maybe it's time to look elsewhere and see what that budget gets you.
