I have been getting my screening mammograms here for decades but today when I went in I was given a…read moretablet computer and asked to fill in my information. I started to fill it in and it was all information I had previously given them many times and it was difficult to enter as you had to choose a month, day, and year individually. I am 80 years old and do not remember the exact date of my last menstrual period! Other patients were audibly complaining about the length and detail of the questions and I soon learned that many of the questions seemed to be irrelevant and questionable as to the purpose of gathering such info (ie "what country were you born in?") They asked for personal health data and dates that I no longer remember and had previously given them. They also asked to sign off on the receipt of policy documents that had not been given to me such as Privacy and others. Their staff was overly solicitous in trying to force us to complete all the minute data and sign off on everything and they would "help" us. They said Memorial Hermann had instituted a new system and that's why they needed all the data. I asked why the new system had not uploaded the old history and was told they "could not do that." I became concerned about their tactics and refused and left without completing it and not receiving any services. I will find my care elsewhere.

The place always looks like there is a lot of people on the waitlist but every person takes about 5 minutes or less to get done. I came here a few days ago and the phlebotomist is super funny and makes you feel at ease. I was talking to her about the nursing applications and requirements and I was trying my best not to laugh when taking my blood (,: The whole process was over before I knew it since we talked the entire time. I didn't even notice the needle because she was just that efficient. Honestly a really great experience and there is nothing to worry about when coming here.

I checked in and filled out paperwork. I wasn't called back for my appt til almost 5:00pm! All the patients that arrived after me were called back and I was given no update until i asked. They just stated that they were behind on MRI's. They're not friendly and not apologetic. This was the case was the back staff as well. Very poor customer service. The place is also very cold and bland, no decor. In the future if needed, I would go elsewhere.

When you need an MRI, the last thing you want to do is sit in a waiting room for hours…read more Sure, I was patient and nice about it but I kept looking over at the sign that instructed patients to contact management for any wait that was over an hour. Finally, I did ask to speak to someone but was told they didn't have anyone available and pointed back to my seat. After more time in the seat watching The Price is Right, I asked them if they had an appointment for me. Clerical errors are common and it pays to ask these questions just in case. The employees of River Oaks Imaging and Diagnostics were not amused. I wasn't trying to be funny. You see, I'm the kind of person that needs Valium to be shoved inside the MRI machine so any way prolonging the inevitable is far too long for me. The hours sitting in the waiting room seem much longer when you dread the MRI more than a reasonable person should. I finally got in the back and they got me in and out fairly quickly. I still think they lost my appointment but at least I got the whole thing finished without further delay in the back room. If I had to do it all over again, I would go with another provider as this process was slow and took up most of my day. There are other places to get MRIs - River Oaks Imaging and Diagnostics is on my list of places to get one.

First of all, there is special parking for Breast Care folks in the front row. Second the folks…read morewere so nice to me. Reception was quick and painless. Was greeted with smiles and a greeting. Today I did a mammogram and a bone density test. The last mammogram I had (at a different location) was extremely painful and I said I wasn't going to ever do another one. My doctor convinced me to try again. At Methodist the mammogram technician was amazingly understanding and took great care of me -- I didn't scream once today. The bone density test was a breeze. The technician for that kept me relaxed and informed of what was going on. At the end of my appointment a man in a golf cart drove me to my car in the parking lot. It was a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend them. Oh, and the decorations in the suite of treatment rooms are very floral and relaxing.

They gave me a tablet to complete a short questionnaire and was seen promptly after. Vicki did my services and she was super sweet and apologetic about all the moves and changes required to get the best images. Everything was done so efficiently. I discussed with Rachel who explained she had ten (10) experience. My dealings in the past with PA's has been very positive. A month later, without sending a bill or even giving me a chance to respond to an insurance adjustment, they simply charged my card again. When I questioned them, they claimed they 'don't send bills' and made the excuse that my card wasn't saved, but was simply 'there' to be used. It appears they store payment data and charge patients whenever they see fit without any transparency or prior notice.
