My fear was that I may have Melanoma but according to the specialists here they said that doesn't seem to be the case. I had a biopsy done and in two weeks I was asked to come back for the results. It's unfortunate that even after having a biopsy done they cannot tell me what exactly it is that I have. The specialist that helped me told me that the results that the lab test gave was a generic diagnosis because it can't exactly figure out what the problem is. She gave me her assumptions as to what it MIGHT be but its not 100%. I was prescribed a steroid drug to put on my face and hope for the better that it goes away. Wish I had a better answer but nope. I can say however that it was very easy to get an appointment even after being a new patient at this office. I was referred by Dr. Hitchins on Barker Cypress since they were booked out for over a month. I called this office and was able to get in the following day. My insurance is with UnitedHealthCare, I believe they only take the Choice Plus version. Both times that I have been here the waiting room is packed! Make sure you are on time to your appointment. Also, try to park in the parking lot if you can because the garage does charge a fee depending on how long you are there and this dermatology office will not validate your parking. Overall the staff is nice and the services are pretty quick.

Dr. Lisa Chan explained some things in detail that gave me understanding and calm some of those fears. I arrived on the day of the appointment (twice) and was told they couldn't execute the scan that day. And "oops, sorry we forgot to notify you". If you need to use this facility, call 30 minutes before your appointment to verify it's still happening. A confirmation text means nothing. Ultimately I went to a different provider - they did great.

I was told I could either wait or leave and they would call me when it was my turn. I chose to leave and received a call at 1:20pm saying they were ready for me. However, I still wasn't taken back until 2:00pm. Overall, the experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing.

We were the only ones in the waiting room at 11:30am on a Saturday, so they were able to get me right in. And honestly, it was nice to have the place to ourselves when feeling so poorly. Bennett was my nurse and he was awesome. I would say hands down he was the one that made my experience such a good one. They didn't make me feel stupid for waiting so long to come in. They tested for all the things (Covid, Flu, Strep, Pneumonia) and fortunately I only left with a diagnosis of a bad chest cold. They administered an antibiotic and sent me home with a few prescriptions to help me get better. I would definitely come back here again. Highly recommend!

The doctor or nurse practitioner - whatever she is - last name Weaver - came into the room and after I said hello she responded with "you have Covid" in a monotone voice. No warmth, compassion or kindness. She told me she was sending 2 prescriptions to my pharmacy. Didn't tell me what they were or how to use them. Then she told me she would be sending me an email of something - I couldn't understand her mumbling under the mask, but I never received it. Didn't offer remedies to help me feel better. No discharge instructions. Nothing. As if I didn't feel bad enough - physically and emotionally about having Covid, this woman made me feel pretty shitty. I can't recommend this place anymore. I certainly won't be returning. I'm giving them 1 star because the front desk people and the tech that took my vitals and administered my tests were all friendly.

They make you feel welcome which I think is nice as usually urgent care centers may come across a bit rude. I have also been able to put my PCP information and they are able to view what occurred on any visit outside of their care, and I really enjoy that because I may not firsthand know what the exact prescription, if provided one.

Called affordable Ultrasounds and explained surgery could be delayed. They were able to get me in the next day, which was day before surgery for the echo and had their cardiologist read it and send to my anesthesiologist who was requiring it prior to surgery. I paid cash and bypassed the insurance formalities. It was as reasonably priced and very affordable. Staff was excellent and very helpful to get me through this process. I was able to have my surgery. I am forever grateful for all they did. Would highly recommend. Not to mention I live near Dallas and my surgery was in Houston. I called several places in Dallas area and could not get an appointment in time but Affordable Ultrasounds went above and beyond. So thankful for them.

Someone else contacts you regarding financial responsibility to be paid upon arrival, no payment plans available and all major credit cards, debit accepted. There is adequate parking on all sides of the building with a portico in front. The building and the parking lot looked clean and I felt safe. When you enter, there is a sizeable waiting room with the checkin desk to the left of the entrance. The staff that I met was cordial and friendly during my entire visit. I was led to the surgery waiting area to receive an IV and change into surgical scrubs. They request you wear your own warm socks. There are at least 5 curtained off rooms with recliners and clipboards. Prior to designated surgery time, the nurse directed me to the surgery area as I walked behind her holding my IV Bag. The room was large and well lit, as the anesthesiologist set me up. When I awoke in the post op surgery, the staff quickly put my clothes on and put me in a wheelchair. Since I was still feeling the effects of the anesthesia, they wheeled me into another room to exit the building near the portico and placed me in a reclining chair. There I slept until I was roused by my daughter. Then we left. I had a pleasant experience and recommend this facility.
