They went above and beyond for our mother in their communication with us and care for her. After our mother passed, they offered us their theater room for her celebration of life, accommodating all of our needs for our event making sure the residents were able to attend and all of our friends and family were welcomed. As my sister & myself both live outside the state it was very comforting knowing she was well cared for With people that truly loved her.

From the moment you walk in the door you feel the warm atmosphere as you are greeted by staff and begin to see and hear and smell the things which contribute to the culture of this facility. The staff obviously share a common mission, purpose, goals and truly care not only for the residents, but for families and for each other. The facility is always sparkling clean no matter what time of day you arrive you find your family member and their surroundings fresh, clean, neat and tidy. In addition there is a lovely secure outdoor area (seasonably available) with a lovely gazebo, which can be accessed from the living room and it is a lovely place for families to visit with their resident. I have witnessed many residents enjoying this area last summer and my mother in law especially enjoyed this area. I cannot express the level of gratitude that I feel towards Raluca and the staff. My mom is so much more content, she's more talkative and cheerful, and she's healthier now than she's been for the past few years (I think it's because the food they prepare is so fresh and healthy). Miriam the nurse is so attentive and caring and Raluca really understands the needs of her residents. The whole staff is so helpful and kind. It just feels positive there - it's always extremely clean, it smells good, and all the residents seem calm and happy. I couldn't recommend it more highly!

This is a challenging time with Covid-19, but Liz arranged for us to see (by some different means) 4 adult foster care homes all in one afternoon. She also came to each appointment with us and jumped in appropriately to ask owners questions that she knew we needed answers to. She also provided us with a basic questionnaire form so that we had a list of some good questions to ask each owner. I was getting really concerned about my Mom's lack of social interaction. She was living with my…read morehusband and I. 2 months ago she and I decided to move her into Glenmoore Assisted Living and I am starting to see improvements in her! Glenmoore is just what their name implies. Gracious! They have been so welcoming from the beginning. Both Managers and Residents. Her studio apartment is clean and comfy and she has a nice size deck for patio furniture and flowers. Housekeeping does a good job coming once a week. Her apartment is always clean when I visit. I have had many meals with my mom and the food is delicious and the choices are many. I can't think of 1 diet that would not be accommodated. She has access to food at any time of the day. They have many activities, but the most important one for my mom are the fitness classes. My mom also enjoys the onsite Beauty Salon. There are so many more amenities to list, but i am running out of space to type. I also like that this is a smaller community that does not have a hotel feeling. It is charming. In closing, I wish we had moved her sooner.

She complained about a few things over the course of her stay however, we eventually moved her to a home in Washington to be closer to my mom and she ended complaining that she missed glenmoore and her friends she made there. The glenmoore residents reached out to her often after her move including attending her funeral. I can't %100 say that I think this is the best place, however I do know my grandmother enjoyed some of her last fond memories here, including the lady who made things and brought them to sell, the hat tea party, the ugly Christmas sweater context the soft serve machine, and the games the residents would play together. Thanks for making this a memorable place for my grandmothers last few years.

We have been very pleased with the front desk staff and the Activities Director. They are very…read morepleasant, great with our father and keep our family informed. The food has put weight on our father, so that says good things about it being likeable. The Regional Director, Matt, is another story. When a new resident brought bed bugs into the building this summer, our father's apartment became infested. He was moved out of his room 3 times into a temporary room, not being allowed to take any of his possessions with him to the temp room. In Sept, we had had enough of him being displaced and requested a whole new apartment. We were left to clean the fumigation chemicals off his belongings (for the 2nd time, because their staff was worried about their own health and safety) and replace items. We had to replace his bed and bedding, lift chair and many clothing items that couldn't go through the hot water process, due to being dry clean only. The total bill was $3726. We asked Regional Director Matt for reimbursement of these expenses since their loss was not caused by our resident. Matt has not responded to this request. We paid the full $5580 each month for ALF, with our father living in what looked like a stark hotel room. We believe the multiple moves over the 3 month transition has sped up his cognitive decline. It has been noticed not only by the family, but by Rosewood staff. We picked Rosewood because of it's proximity to family. If it wouldn't speed up his mental decline more, we would move our father to Marquis in Forest Grove or Avamere at Bethany.

My father enjoyed the staff. My father passed 3/18/17. I must point out the incredible level of care my father received in his final weeks and especially days. There is no way I could have provided that level of care for him myself. Rosewood went above and beyond. For this I will forever be eternally grateful. Don't hesitate to place your loved one here. Rosewood is top notch!
