    Tiramisu

The Tiramisu I purchased here one Saturday was wonderful and made from scratch which made it even better, but the service here was anything but. The person whom I saw at the register was a bit snippy with me and when I asked for the menu, she practically showed it in my hand. After I explained to her what I wanted she brought the dessert out to me but without gloves covering her hands or a bag to carry the Tiramisu in. Honestly I was beyond disgusted by this. I actually thought they would have taken health precautions seriously but apparently they dont. I don't think I'll be returning here again anytime soon or at all unless they make some changes here.

They are exceptionally knowledgeable about their wine without being stuffy or snobbish. Love the wine tastings on Saturday.

Just barely seared. My husband had scallops and oh my, were they ever delicious! I would pass on the potatoes. They're super heavy with their Barada sauce. And the artichoke dip had very little to no artichoke taste and it was way too thick! So I wouldn't do those, but the positives outweigh the negatives. Their old-fashioned was excellent, and their wine menu is great! The entire experience was worthy of repeating! It's fun to find good, fun dining experiences in Seneca.

The sauces for the steak were excellent. The steak was good, and while it can be fun to cook your dinner yourself right there at your table I think I'd do something different next time. I found the Bravas potatoes sauce a little too reminiscent of a zesty ketchup style dressing, they are not for me. I had two old fashioneds. A smoked version , which was very flavorful (albeit it pricey as I opted for a higher end bourbon) and a lavender old fashioned, which had a few fruit notes. I preferred the smoked. Our server was great and helped us choose a quick dessert so we could get things moving for my daughter, we got the fondue which she very much liked.

I was super excited to try this restaurant but now that I've Eaten here, I'm not sure what the hype…read moreis. We started off with the scallops and spinach cheese dip which were good, nothing special. We also ordered the charcuterie board which was a HUGE disappointment. It was $45 and had a few cheap store bought crackers, 8 blueberries and some salami and cheese, really confused at why the price was so high for only a few low grade options... there were 4 of us and barely enough for each of us to have one cracker. This is where everything went downhill from here. For entrees our table ordered the short rib, chicken piccata, and elk. The short rib was tender but lacked flavor. The forbidden black rice was flavorless mush, couldn't even eat it. The chicken piccata was watery and soup like. The pasta had no flavor and the chicken was soggy from sitting in the pasta water. The elk was ok, but the barley pine nut whip was flavorless, it needed mashed potatoes to go with the meat. The waitress asked if we liked our meals and we told her that we did not. That's where the conversation ended. Apparently management doesn't care how the food is coming out? Not sure but we spent over $300 and will definitely not be back. I'm glad we tried it before we brought out of town guests here. If you like flavorless food then this is your spot.

We thought it was a 'pour your own candle' type place/experience, but really it's a bistro restaurant that also sells amazing candles (in addition to other cute items.) We were starving, and looking forward to lunch, which was one of the most incredible meals I've ever had. Everything is made fresh to order and 'from scratch' and not only does the flavor reflect this, but every sibgle detail and aspect of the meal. We couldnt decide what to order so decided to just share everything. We started with the half baguette with olive tapenade and herbed butter. It cane out warm and the tapenade was obviously homemade...it was at this point we knew we were in for a treat! Next up was the lemony caesar salad with lobster salad added and the watermelon feta special salad. I literally licked the plate with both. The caesar dressing was SPECTACULAR, a secret recipe and perfect. The watermelon salad hit the spot on an excruciatingly hot day. Following that we got shrimp bruschetta and the marinated crab cake special over gazpacho and artichoke hearts. The bruschetta was delicious, but that crab cake was five star. With no room at all for dessert, we took in the charming decor, purchased a few items and made a note to come back asap. One note...the prices run about $20 per plate and the portions are fair, but modest be prepared to spend about $50-60 per person with a glass of wine and tip, but it is worth EVERY penny.
