I've been getting my hair done but over 40 years. I moved to the Cape almost 2 years ago, and I decided to find a stylist and a salon. Didn't use family recommendations I went on my own search and I came across the Salon 700 in Hyannis. I have been going there since I found it. It's been at least over a year or more. Between the greeting I get when I come in the door from the girls Danielle , Nicole everybody behind the counter. From my wonderful absolutely awesome Jillian who does my hair. I love Salon 700. The staff is absolutely amazing and they just make you feel like. You matter, they do a fantastic job with my hair and what my needs are. Never ever disappointed ever!! Women go to salon 700 in Hyannis you will not regret it! The aestheticians are awesome as well!!! My only sadness comes if I have to leave the Cape I will never find another place like Salon 700!! read more

The salon is clean and the staff . I went to 2 sessions for laser hair removal. The cost for each session was $150. There was minimal improvement after the first session, so I scheduled the next one with a different person. That person cancelled so I got the same person again. I told her I had no improvement, so she said she would increase the level/strength. Again, no change and no improvement. I would recommend that you find a place that does a fixed price per area rather than per session. I have lost faith in this salon's laser hair removal practice. read more

I went into salon 700 and day spa to get a haircut and a spray tan. I expressed my worry, during my haircut, that I didn't want to look like a "Karen" (my apologies to any Karen's out there!). I came in with shoulder length hair without layers and told my stylist that I didn't want bangs but that I'd like more body and lift around my face. I was in shock when she finished and out of pure panic said "I love it , thank you", but the truth is that I was horrified and I couldn't wait to put my hair up. I told her that I was really low maintenance with my hair and that I usually just leave it natural or straighten it...I can't wear my hair straight anymore because it looks ridiculous. It looks like I went to cut my own hair and my scissors malfunctioned and left me with a mini mullet Spray tan: The woman who did my spray tan made me feel really comfortable and was very kind. Having said that I don't think it's her fault that the spray tan was one of the worst I've had. Unfortunately, I now know I prefer a booth. I was splotchy, despite following direction, there were spots missed making my tan visibly fake, and days later and it's still rubbing off on all of my clothes. read more

Pros: super Friendly staff! Cons: came here to get my spray tan trial for my wedding. it ended up turning out green and she said that would fade. I was hoping an actual person doing it would be better than a machine. I am way too dark, I have spots everywhere, and two days after it when I took a shower my towel turned green. The establishment would NOT book without a credit card number, management was no help and actually had a worse attitude than the receptionist. so why would you want to go to a place that starts a relationship like this? and why should one provide a credit card over the phone before any service is rendered? Lousy business practices. I made an appointment a week ago with Danielle. They called to confirm 4 times and texted me 3 times. Then they changed the time twice and finally called 30 min before the appointment and said that DANIELLE couldn't see me but another stylist was available in an hour. The moment I walked in I was greeted by the sweetest Danielle that helped me schedule my appt with the best stylist Courtney Z after I made a error in scheduling my appt very accommodating esp on A Sunday ......to book me right in So I showed my stylist Courtney a pic of how I wanted my hair colored and boom it was done ....after a bad highlight that had gone brassy. I am so happy I came here amazed on how healthy my hair looks now , from the expertise to the welcoming of feeling that I have known these ladies for years I feel so relaxed and rejuvenated and so does my hair !!! I had the best experience and service from Salon 700. My hair stylist, Heather was amazing and professional. My makeup artist, Haley Marie was fantastic and did an incredible job. I got so many compliments on my day. Ali was amazing as well. She coordinated and scheduled everything. I was doing all the planning in California for a wedding in Cape Cod and she was very speedy in responding back to me via phone and email. The trial makeup didn't go well at first, but Ali quickly found me another makeup artist (Haley Marie) who did a phenomenal job. Overall, I was very pleased about this salon. Booking Salon 700 relatively last-minute for my wedding was the right choice. They have the experience and professionalism to know what they were doing once things for us brides get busy! The make up trial put me at ease, knowing how I would look and feel on the big day, and my MOH & MOB (who aren't big make up gals) felt comfortable and beautiful, too! Vanessa is the woman we worked with-- she was professional, quick, no nonsense, but still kept it fun and exciting (as wedding days tend to be). Unprofessional staff and inadequate management. They use the same wax on everyone and double dip with the same stick. When I noticed that and asked how this possible, the technician became very stressed said sorry and stopped waxing. When I asked for a manager and mentioned the issue, she didn't introduce herself, turned red, became very stressed and in a seconds turned around and left. Don't recommend this place at all. I don't even want to know how hygienic their manicure tools as I canceled my manicure. read more

Zhenia has been doing my lashes for almost two years now! She is absolutely amazing! I've been to another salon and it took well over an hour for 3 week fill that was subpar. Zhenia has me in and out in 30 minutes. I am beyond satisfied with how my lashes look every time! I no longer live on the Cape but I drive down from Quincy just to have lashes filled. I have not found a single lash artist from the South Shore to the Cape that compares to Zhenia! The staff at Salon 700 are incredibly professional, friendly, and accommodating. I cannot say enough about the ladies at Salon 700 & Day Spa. As a bride-to-be, from out of state, I was a little worried about booking my hair and make-up. I should preface this with the fact that I had a hair and makeup trial go COMPLETELY WRONG, at another salon. (They made me look matronly and their technique was out dated) But these girls made it all better. They were able to book both me and my entire bridal party for a full beauty day, for my wedding, only 4 weeks from my wedding date. 10/8/2016 I went in for my trial last Friday and I was greeted by two beautiful girls. They immediately showed me in and offered me a drink. This was a relief, as I had just driven almost 3 hours to get there. The informed me I can bring in champagne and snacks the day of my wedding for my girls and I. There is also a selfie station to take photos with the bridal party. Megan was my makeup artist. I showed her the look I wanted on my wedding day and she NAILED IT! I absolutely loved the air brushed makeup, bronzer and shimmer. I looked like a princess. They also sell the beauty products that they use on you, in case you want to buy them for touch-ups. Megan was confident and so easy to get along with. :) Next up was my hairdresser, Heather. What an angel. I wasn't blessed with good hair. It's fine, flat and thin. But Heather, she made me look like a bombshell. I brought my clip in extensions and she was able to make it look so full and luxurious. And it took her about 30 minutes. She is truly an expert at her craft! I am so glad I found her, yet so sad she doesn't live closer to me so she may be my fulltime hairdresser. My experience was 5-star rated. From the beauty of the salon, to the professional and sweet stylists, I was blown away. I cannot wait for my big day. It will be here before I know it and I will be sure to post pictures! I hate to give this place 3 stars, because I think it's a nice salon. However, my service was sub-par. I booked a last minute blow-out with Kate on a Friday before a girls night out in Boston. All I can say is, does she not realize how rough she is?! While having my hair shampooed I felt as if she was trying to rip my hair out. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, but shampooing/conditioning shouldn't hurt. I don't know if she was rushing or in a bad mood or what, but I felt like whatever it was, she took it out on my poor head of hair. She only slightly redeemed herself when she massaged my head (for all of 30 seconds). Then off to the chair. The blowdrying part was fine until I felt as if my head was catching on fire. She had the blowdryer so close to my head I started making faces and tilting my head away from her--which was when she asked if she was hurting me. Uh, yeah. I have had numerous blow-outs before and this is something I've never experienced. I just kept wishing it would end, and was so happy when I was able to get out of the chair. In terms of the styling, I probably could have done a similar job--I was just too lazy to wash/style my hair that day. The only thing I was happy about was not being out $50 (which is what it would have cost me at a salon in the city), and that the service cost only $25. I would return if someone else did my hair because I think overall it is a nice, semi-upscale place. read more

HILARY is my stylist and is the by far the best colorist and hair cut I have had in my 31 years...I am always so impressed with my hair and leave feeling like Beyonce every time. I first started coming to Salon 700 & Day Spa about a month ago to redeem a coupon I had for a spa mani & pedi. I am happy to say that I am no obsessed with this place! They truly do have it all. Gigi has introduced me to the fun world of nail art and is truly talented. I also received a Luxern oxygen facial that was so relaxing I actually fell asleep. The staff is friendly and courteous and goes over and beyond to make everyone feel relaxed and welcome. The facility itself is beautiful and convenient, and the prices are extremely competitive. I think I actually pay less for acrylics here than at my former nail spa where I didn't receive half the pampering. And, as a perk, if you make an appointment later in the day, you can always pop in for dinner at Bistrot de Soleil for their $20 Prix Fixe menu. I had asked for a blow out with curls at the end, and they ended up using a curling iron which was fine, although didn't realize that would be an extra charge until I was checking out. She took her time, and went through the cut very carefully when my hair was wet and dry. Kelly gave me a great blow out, and then styled it beautifully with curls! Loved it!
