I have booked treatments 3 times here. Booked online. The first time, they were expecting me and my facial was "fine". Nothing to write home about. About a year later, I booked a facial online. I arrived and waited for 15 minutes in the waiting room behind the desk. Then they showed me the locker room, gave me a robe and slippers and had me sit in the next waiting room. I waited, all decked out in my robe for 20 minutes. A woman came in apologizing profusely that there was no record of my appointment and that they could not accommodate me at all. After almost 45 minutes they apparently finally figured out that they had no appointment on the books for me! They did not offer anything to compensate for the disappointing experience. Fast forward a year. I booked an appointment online this past Wednesday. My appointment was for 9 am today, Friday, with a MT named Peter. I had been told that he was excellent! I arrived at 9 am. She asked if I would like to book a service and I said no, I am scheduled at 9 am with Peter. I was NOT in their system. I told her I booked online, picked a service, requested Peter and paid! She said "Oh! That's why...it's a tricky system." Then she said..."I would have to be standing over your shoulder to make sure the booking went through properly". I told her that the spa should probs consider NOT using the online booking until they have it working right. I told her this is the 2nd time out of 3 booking that they have screwed up. She asked if I wanted to re-book. Hahahahahahaha!!!! I told her that I would not be wasting my time again! No offer to compensate or incentive to re-book. Just a vapid understanding that once again her online booking system had failed a client. I am not the only one! Check the reviews! So disappointing. I just booked a service at CBI where I will go from now on! Don't waste your time!!!! read more

After having a sore shoulder for months, decided to try a massage with Libia by a recommendation from a friend; surely, I was so pleased with the relief I felt after getting a massage from her. Not only the place is very nice, but the atmosphere and staff promote a very relaxing environment. I will go back to get a massage from Libia soon and maybe will try a facial as well. read more

I booked both a manicure and pedicure the day before and had a great service from Lauren (I nearly fell asleep during my pedicure-- the ambiance is very relaxing!) I've been to Chatham Bars Inn as part of a group, and the massage was ok, but the "bedside manner" made me feel like a number in a crowd. It was far more expensive and far less personalized. I won't be going to CBI again, and I have signed up for once monthly massages with Kim. Also, it's good to know that Le Petit Day Spa can accommodate 5 people at a time, each in separate and private rooms.

Sadly my massage just wasn't very effective. Very light pressure throughout. I left with most of all the same muscle tension that I went in with. I've had a lot of massages and this one was like 95th percentile in price and 30th percentile in effectiveness.
