Had an amazing massage with Rina (spelling?) The massage that I chose was Swedish. Very talented...healing, relaxing, wonderful. The atmosphere was lovely and decorated with pretty beach themes...we were given comfy robes and slippers to wear. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Had a wonderful, relaxing massage. I have been going to this spa for over a year now for what I call my "mid-year/quarterly self-care day" and it has been a lovely experience each time for my facials and massages. Very relaxing atmosphere and staff has been kind and courteous. Always greeted by front desk staff and they always ask if I need anything or have any questions. Throughout my sessions they always ask how I'm doing and adjust if needed. At my last massage my massage therapist noticed how tight my shoulders and neck were and gave me some exercises I could do to help relieve tension during my work day. They didn't have to do that, but they cared enough to help me even after I was done there. read more

Have been Looking desperately fora good pedicure on the Cape. 50min pedicure. The foot and leg massage was 6 minute total. 3 min per leg.Yes i timed it! There was barely any callus removal. I wanted to like this place. It seemed it had most items a nice spa would have such as interesting art decorating the place, cool concept product line and was sort of clean. However, one of the Massage Therapists seemed crass and cold. She thought her treatment was worthy of some of the most opulent spas I've been to. Yet it all failed unfortunately. This was without a doubt the best massage I have ever had. Christine De Chiara is truly gifted. I have suffered from severe and chronic migraines since last August, with fewer than 5 headache-free days in almost a year. I've seen every specialist possible to rule out anything medical as the root cause and believe the root cause to be related to Major Depression and PTSD. After my 80min treatment with Christine she and I both knew she had successfully released the pain my body had been holding in all this time. Cleanliness isn't adhered too, Provider's have no protocol and give unsolicited medical advice which is out of their realm of expertise and solicit tips. However, it's Aesthetically a lovely spa and Ocean edge guests pay top price for their beautiful surroundings in exchange for mediocre spa services. read more

The spa is beautiful and the staff is kind, punctual, and talented. However, communication from the manager/staff was unsatisfactory. The makeup products chosen at the trial were not brought on the day of the wedding. We were not reimbursed for the makeup trial and were underwhelmed with our makeup on the day of the wedding. We were given misinformation about how the services could be paid for. We loved our hair, but overall, we were left feeling disconcerted about choosing this spa for the wedding services. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. I booked an appointment, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, as I'm visiting family for the weekend and was unsure which day I would be able to go. They said this was fine and I was happy they allowed me to make multiple appointments. I called Friday to cancel the Saturday appointment and confirm the Sunday appointment. I called again Saturday just to make sure there was no confusion and we were good to go Sunday. I drove a half an hour to get there and upon my arrival am told I do not have an appointment. Umm..what?! And then was told I could sit and wait an hour or so until the masseuse was available. No apology about the inconvenience, no attempt to make up for the inconvenience. Literally nothing. I booked these appointments over a week in advance. Long story short, I will never be going here for a massage. Not only is it only a 50 min massage, it's expensive for that short amount of time and to say the customer service was lack luster at best, would be an understatement. Don't go to this spa. There are a million in Cape Cod that are more accommodating. read more

This business is not owned or managed by the Ocean Edge Resort. Very poorly managed. Almost nonexistent communication. Wendy, The manager would screen calls, and not respond to emails. My stylist was good, but the communication was so poor I couldn't even get a hold of them to pay! My hair and make up trials were in early February. By April I needed to get a hold of the stylist just to get Wendy to call me back. 3 weeks before my wedding I still couldn't get s hold of her and actually called other stylists/salons in the area to try to blindly book my hair and make up because i had no idea if they would show up. She wouldn't respond to voice-mails left by my bridal party. I was finally able to pay for myself and my mother (a week before the wedding) however none of my bridal party were eve able to get through to her. Then she charged my card for their services when she originally agreed to charge everyone separately. Do not put yourself though what i went though trying to deal with this woman. read more

This spa is unprofessional, DECEITFUL, incompetent, and negligent. They do not care about their clientele, only how many appointments they can overbook in a day. My friends and I booked appointments for 10AM on 8/31. Days before the spa called to move appointments around because of their error with under-staffing, which is fine. On the day of our appointment, the spa called us at 9:30 to say we had missed our appointment, despite us having confirmations of the 10AM appointments. We saw the spa had emailed us at 9:24 AM to confirm the new "9:30" appointment and proceeded to argue with us and say there was nothing they could do. When we arrived, the manager said she could take my friends now and us at 11:30AM and appeared to be apologetic, which was fine. When my friend went into her massage, the masseuse was incredibly rude and blamed my friend for being late for her appointment, when it was their confusion and poor management causing the delays. My friend politely asked her not to speak to her in a rude manner to which she replied she was "stressed" due to the understaffing and overbooked spa. Obviously my friend was not comfortable getting a massage from this grossly unprofessional person and decided to leave. She then overheard the masseuse lying to her manager and saying my friend refused to sign medical paperwork and that's why we left. For a place alleging to be "Cape Cod's best spa" this was hands down the worst experience we've ever had. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and I would encourage them to take a good look at themselves and their business to assess their poor management and unpleasant staff. read more

Good luck trying to book anything at this spa! I called at least 5 times over the course of a few weeks to try to book a porch party for 5 people. Every time they took all my info. all over again and told me someone would get back to me. Each time I told them I just needed to know if they could accomodate our party or not on a certain date. Seems simple to me. You either have availability or you don't. They couldn't even tell me that and no one has bothered to call me back. I booked a spa day for all of us at a different spa that actually knows the meaning of customer service because this place surely doesn't. read more
