My wife mistakenly ordered a queen size mattress. (She needed a full size.) We loaded the…read moredelivered mattress into the car, took it to this UPS store to return it, unloaded it and took it in only to find out the system was down. We took it back and loaded it back into the car. Two days later we returned to the store, checked to make sure they were up & accepting, took the mattress back out of the car and loaded it onto a shopping cart. We got it into the store, found they now charge for the return address paper, and they insisted I needed to remove it from the shopping cart and put it on the floor. The charge for the address sheet was $5. I just purchased 500 sheets of high quality printer paper for about $12, and the black ink I buy goes for around $26 and says it prints about 300 pages. My math says that's $0.01 for the paper and $0.09 for the ink - about ten cents. I'm 68 years old, my wife is 64 years old, and the two working there looked like they were in their 20's. I am retired, my wife is on disability, and they are working in the business of delivering packages.

I only needed something printed from email so she only charged me a dollar. I was surprised at the low price and gave her another dollar as a tip. I have local activist friends who distribute a lot of flyers, and advised that I would recommend their business. Today I needed a similar printing done and returned, expecting the same level of professionalism. The only employee working was a young guy to whom I explained what I needed and my previous visit. He said that I needed to come back at 5pm--their closing time--as he was the only employee working. He then said he would (grudgingly) assist with the 3 minute task, but not for less than $35 (!!!). When I told him of what I was charged previously for the same thing, he said that was wrong; so basically saying I'm lying while simultaneously lying about the cost himself. He also claimed to be the "manager", which is hard to believe, unless he's related to the owner-- but obviously not hired on merit. I went to the UPS store further down, and had a friendly 3 minute interaction with their pleasant professional clerk. I was charged $2.80. I wish I had gotten the name of the previous helpful employee to specifically recommend (only) her. If you need printing services, maybe check out the staffing on that day by calling ahead, but for other services, maybe see if the UPS store can assist you better. The disparity between the level of customer service of the two encounters is really a shame. It only takes one smug, dishonest worker to ruin a great first impression.

Zero stars. Extortion. Oscar and Karina had me going back and forth to the front desk to here…read morelooking for my order multiple times. They shared often Amazon "says they dropped the item off, however steal the item by not really dropping off the order." I had called the hotel in advance to inquire if I could have items sent to the hotel. The hotel employee shared "people do it all of the time. They use Amazon, DoorDash and insta cart." Being that I am familiar with using Amazon I ordered water to come to the hotel and for it to arrive the day I would arrive. So this is when it all started... the front desk said Amazon orders end up at the business center with Fed Ex. So went to Fed Ex and they told me they didn't have the order and to check the front desk. I went back to the front desk and they checked in the back and then told me Fed Ex would most likely receive it, so I went back to Fed-Ex... (you get the picture) Karina had shared what I said above and I asked if they could please just go and look for it because it said it was delivered. After asking over and over she went to look for my package. While waiting, Oscar was interacting with customers in a condescending and sarcastic tone to them. People were leaving upset. Once Karina came back with my $14 case of water, she told me she weighed it and I need to pay $25 to receive my water. I told her that it was extortion and what was I paying for? She said "storage and handling". I explained no where did the hotel tell me that I would have to pay an additional amount to have an item delivered. Neither Oscar or Karina cared and it was either I paid $25 for my water or I couldn't take it. I get that they are just employees struggling to make a dime, however they did not care one bit. Karina shared she has told the hotel front desk multiple times that they need to tell guests that they charge the customers to pick up their items. So there I was stuck between a lack of training and consistency between the hotel and Fed ex business center within the hotel being extorted. I could have had a friend drive me to Walmart had I known. I travel a lot, and I have had items delivered to Marriott's before and NEVER had this problem.
