The conversation became focused on whether the brand's rep would reimburse the store, which felt irrelevant as a customer simply asking for an even exchange on a $10 item. It was disappointing to receive that level of resistance over such a small issue after making a significant purchase just days earlier. Sadly, this experience means I won't be returning.

I spent $500 at the shop and got both bikes back--everything seemed fine. I live nearby so I rode my bike home less than 10 min. The next day I noticed the tire was completely flat. I hadn't had a flat tire prior to coming into the shop; I didn't ride over any terrain that would likely be the cause of the flat. I brought the bike in just to see if someone could take a look at the tire--maybe something happened when it was put on the new wheel? The bike tech immediately adopted a condescending tone and said he wouldn't even look at it without charging me. He said since I rode it (only 10 min) that it was a certainty that I did something to puncture it. Essentially, he's so infallible that if anything goes wrong after his repair, there's a greater chance of the sun not rising tomorrow. Great attitude!
