I don't like spending a ton of time in the mall, I have a few stores I visit and I try to get out…read morebefore the crowds take over. I usually shop in the Buckle for my Miss Me jeans, but I don't like being 'sold to' so intensely, so I haven't been in a while. I walked by American Eagle, and they had some great jeans on display. I haven't been in there before, so I went in. First of all, the kids working there are amazing-friendly, super helpful and NOT pushy! I asked for help twice, to find specific pairs of jeggings and to ask about sizing. Jessie was such a huge help! She nailed my size with one look, and the jeggings fit to perfection! (Fyi: Miss Me size 29 is equal to size 8 jeggings in AE). Love this store, love the clothing and the sweet staff! Definitely my new go-to store in Midland.

I returned a pair of boots to this store. There were two cashiers only out of 6 stations - a…read moreFriday afternoon at approx 1:30, so I had to wait in line well over 30 minutes! The store was packed with holiday shoppers and merchandise was in disarray. It was impossible to find anything, and I didn't see any employees to get help. Finally at the register, I had the unworn boots in the original box and my receipt, but didn't bring the credit card I'd used. They were not able to refund my card, but issued a store receipt. I've returned items at other stores where they can refund the card used with the bard code info. This Marshalls is the closest one to me, but over 150 miles, a 2 1/2-3 hour drive. And Marshalls does not have online shopping. I wasn't able to use the store card at that time - the store was a mess. Because of the lack of employees for assistance, because the store was so messy, and because they were not able to refund my purchase, with receipt, to my card, I give them a one-star rating.

I was skeptical to order from a random vendor (my husband worried that my credit card info might get stolen), but I checked BBB and didn't see anything negative so I went for it. The next day, I called their shop to confirm that the item was actually new, given the low price. To my surprise, the lady was familiar with my order, reassuring and friendly, and stated that it had already been packed for shipment. My brand new backpack arrived promptly in the mail a few days later, in perfect condition, with tags. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Otherwise there was nothing in my size I liked. Plus, rude shoppers almost everywhere I turned!

I had my kids with me on Monday and boy, did we feel unwelcome. I even made my kids sit in chairs while I tried to look around, so they wouldn't touch anything. The lady working could not get us out of the store fast enough. She made sure to let me know as I was checking out that they were closed. I looked at my watch and it was 5:02. Once again, the online hours are not correct. They have some really cute stuff, so if you can come in the middle of the day, while the kids are in school or if you don't have kids, maybe this place is for you.
