Absolutely loved this place. It is incredibly unique. My husband and I got here right after open on a Friday afternoon and it was a very laid back atmosphere. The decor is so gorgeous throughout the entire place, the decorations were accumulated by one of the owners during their world travels. The main bar area feels amazing with all the natural light and indoor plants, very rejuvenating. The garden area is lovely with all sorts of unique seating areas. Every detail even down to the restrooms transports you to another world. The service was speedy and the bartenders were incredibly friendly and attentive. The drinks were delicious!!! This is probably one of the most beautiful bars i've been in! I wish I took more pics, but I was in awe of how pretty it was! There is greenery everywhere and loads of art pieces from around the world!! One of the walls is just pictures of people from around the world!! I got the IM-PEAR-MINT COLLINS as my drink and it was pretty good! The drink contains caramelized pear gin, spiced pear syrup, honey, white balsamic, mint, and soda. It mixes well for a refreshing drink while you can walk around and explore the beauty of this place! I have been going to Somerset for a little over a year and I have just one of my all-time favorite bars. The vibe in here is literally amazing and the staff is always extremely friendly. I was sad to find out that they got rid of their oregano vodka. They have a food truck when you walk in so that you don't have to leave the bar to grab snacks. I had these potato bites and they were absolutely delicious. I recently went to one of their "respect the mic" nights that they have on Wednesdays to see my friend perform some of her new poetry. I never knew about this and it was so cool to see a group of people all coming together and listening to others pour their hearts out. They had sign ups so anyone could do it which was awesome!! They have two inside bars and then a back patio to explore which was covered in different plants all over and gave a greenhouse vibe. There was a bunch of cool places to sit outside and even had secret little spots where you had to search to find a really cool seat! The cocktails are amazing and they have new refreshing ones that often go along with the season! Wow, hands-down, this is one of the most beautiful bars I've ever visited. I was with friends, so didn't take nearly as many pictures as I would've liked, but suffice to say, there's a beautiful blend of plants, Eastern inspired decor, a stunning wall of photographic slides that gleam like jeweled tiles and inviting, cozy furniture in the lounge we hung out in. The drinks are really good, too! My margarita was delicious and there was a decent selection of beers and wines available. The food truck offered a good range of snacks, including very decently sized pork sliders, Korean nachos, and chicken or tofu bites. Free street parking is a great bonus. Somerset has amazing drinks and a GREAT atmosphere. I have been here a few times and each time I have sampled different items from their cocktail list. The house infuse some of their alcohols so it's always fun to try their signature drinks! The space itself is also very interesting as there are multiple rooms/areas that you can hang out in with each of them having their own different vibe, music, and sound level. I prefer to start in the living room area that tends to be quieter and has its own private bar. After having a drink here, I like to move into the greenhouse where it is a little bit louder but still inside. Lastly, I always find myself outside and one of the cool seating areas - whether it be the old train car or under one of their wooden structures. In each room there are so many different decorations to take in you could spend all day looking in every corner for the next thing to admire Overall there's so much to see and different things to drink here - definitely will be back again! read more

Vibes vibes vibes... love the chill vibes!! Met up with former coworkers for a bit of a kickback. Upon arriving, I turned to a friend and asked, "Why have I never been here?" Anyway, Somerset does not offer or sell food but they do allow you to brink your own food, get deliveries, etc. we did a kind of potluck type deal. There was a bar like space in one of the rooms that served as a nice serve yourself buffet space. There were about 15 people in our party and the space was accommodating for our group. The drinks!!! If you're looking for tasty, creative cocktails (or mocktails), I'd check out this spot. The first time I visited Somerset was during winter. I'm excited to visit during the summer when the outdoor area is open and the sun is shining through the gorgeous glass ceiling. Today wasn't the best. The place was absolutely packed on a Saturday afternoon and had very minimal bartenders working. Probably just a nice day in OTR. Understand the bar can get busy out of nowhere, but would expect much better customer service than what we received. Staff seemed extremely stressed and annoyed every time we ordered new drinks. Beautiful! I had heard so much about this place from others that I was finally able to make my way down and see it for myself. It did not disappoint. The atmosphere is like no other bar I have been to. It's like entering a greenhouse rather than a bar (and without the humidity of a greenhouse). I went during the later afternoon on a perfect 70 degree weather day with sunshine and a slight breeze. It wasn't crowded but had a great flow of people surrounding the bar area as well as the outdoor patio. Friends had told me that the last time they were there it was so crowded that you couldn't find seating outside...but they had gone during the night...which I can imagine the ambience being quite different during that time. Their main bar area had window ceilings that let the light flow in so brightly that the place just felt so relaxing and serene. The bartenders were attentive and helpful when helping us decide on drinks. I went with a recommendation from the bartender that was a drink that had a flower you ate along with it for the tasting experience. Unfortunately, I cannot for the life of me recall the name, but I can add a picture! The patio offers an array of different group seating areas where your party can gather as long as you get there first! The place is decorated with unique lighting stretched above with each bulb being a different shape. It gives a very safari-sh/jungle/tropical type feel. Which I love.
