As a Fraternity Alum, I thought it would be a cool idea to make an award in the shape of a paddle for a charity Alumni Association event. One of the employees at the shop, Susan, went out of her way to help me with the paddle foundation, the design, the layout, the sizing of wooden letters, the laser engravings, literally everything, and while she did it, she was courteous, kind, and helpful. Being in the store transported me back to being an undergraduate 25 years ago and designing paddles, t-shirts, jackets, and other swag for our events - it was a great feeling of nostalgia made possible only by the staff in the store willing to help out. They have a good selection of NPHC Greek options which are the only ones that I check for. My sorority umbrella recently broke so I was on a mission to replace it. They only had one option for my organization but it was a really nice and super sturdy one. Food arrived nice and hot. Service was very good but the food was either greasy or very fatty. We had the Gyro sandwich, fried eggplant gyro, pork kabobs and chicken kabobs and spinach pie. The spinach pies were burnt on the bottom and the flavor was okay, kind of like it was bought frozen and then baked. The lamb gyro had large bits of unmelted fat and the flavor was typical they packed it on top of the tomato and lettuce so it looked like a lot but it was less than what i am use to getting. the chicken gyro was dry but the flavor was very good and the individual pork kabobs were nothing to write home about. I called a few days later and a woman was very quick to tell me they would eventually get back to me. About a week or two after that I called again only to discover my email was not received. I was now being helped by Jack and he did seem very helpful on the phone that day. I went into store and again he was helpful and now to send me a quote on what i inquired about. That was the last time I heard from Jack. I was told that due to supply demand this would need to be done sooner rather then later so I continued to email and call. I was told the internet was down for two days. Ok but I was supposed to get a quote over a week ago. Jack was never at his desk, and messages were not returned. I was done chasing this company and found another place. However several weeks go by and I finally received an email from Jack. He was sorry and was sick and still wants to help me. I was shocked. I understand you can be sick but you said this was time sensitive due to demand. This is a large company so if he was sick why didn't someone else take over this order. I chose and ordered my letters in the color "Jade" because it looked exactly like the color for my boyfriend's fraternity. I received the sweatshirt today and was astonished when I opened the box and the color of the letters were an awful teal blue color. I quickly called the service number, and I was instructed to email the service department a photo of what I received. I was then contacted by text message and told that I got what I chose, and that "the sweatshirt looks very nice". I sent the photo of what I expected to receive multiple times, and I was told I should have picked a different color. I chose what I chose for a reason, and it was not produced the way it is advertised. The only thing I was offered was 10% off of my next order. That does not fix the product that I have that is incorrect. I have loved something greek for some time now, and I will NEVER be ordering again. False advertising, and insufficient customer service. I am very disappointed in this company. My sorority orders from them very frequently and on our recent order of some jackets they had our letters mixed up. When we looked at the order preview it said all of our letters were correct but as soon as we got the receipt they had replaced a xi for chi. We tried calling as soon as we realized the mistake and they said we had to wait until the jackets arrived and then send them back and email them to fix it. I have dealt with 5 weeks late order arrivals, incorrect items, missing items, and endless SIGHS, attitudes, LAUGHS, and weeks of unanswered emails / phone calls from them. Take your money elsewhere. There are so many more sites for greek apparel. I bought a pair of their unisex sweatpants. I was aware of the "no returns/exchanges" so I went to the sizing video that linked to youtube (it was no help) AND called to inquire about sizing. I was ensured that with my measurements, I ordered the right size (I am a tall girl!). I receive the sweatpants and of course they are too short. I wrote the Live Online Help and they never answered. I call right away to ask for an exchange; I made perfectly clear that I did not want to return and that I liked the item but they did not fit after all I went through to get them in the right size. The CS agent took down my information and told me they would give me a call back. That was about a month ago!!! The "no exchange" thing wasn't even a big deal. But they didn't even try to help me. I will NOT be buying anything from this website again. The website sells greek apparel with stitched on clothes and screen printed shirts. They also sell favors and paddles and other greek needs. I wanted to buy my little bro basketball shorts with letters on them. $30ish dollars... i GUESS for my little. So I order it 3 weeks in advanced. Half a week later, I get a call at 8 in the morning (mind you I am NOT awake at this time) from them telling me that the shorts I chose were back ordered and it would take an extra week. I figured it was alright since shipping would take no more than 2 weeks and the extra week for back order was enough time. A week later I get a call (at 8am AGAIN) telling me that the shorts were discontinued. I quickly get online and low and behold, they are still online. I really wanted to get him shorts so I chose another pair and asked for a 10% discount and free rush shipping. The lady tried to argue with me but she woke up the wrong person that early in the morning. I got the shorts today (3 days after my little bro's formals) and I am NOT happy with the quality of the shorts. the letters are not even double stitched and stitched poorly at that! Also the shorts dont even have a draw string to adjust it with and the shorts feel really stiff. Again, I am NOT happy and will NOT be ordering from here again. I am a sister of Delta Phi Epsilon and I have ordered multiple times, this year I place a bulk order of over 10 different shirt designs. All but one shirt was correct and when I called customer service they didn't hesitate to send me another free of cost... when I received a few days later it was still wrong Then came SUSAN! Susan was a life savor, this shirt was a family shirt that generations of our sisters have ordered for their littles and needs to be identical each year. Susan worked so hard and even went all the way down to the factory where they make the shirts to make sure that it was put on the correct shirt and sent out the next day to me. I had ordered a line jacket online with a lot of custom embroidery, rush order and rush shipping. They had to email and call me to adjust the final price and let me know that they can't make rush order. I paid the extra amount I needed to and adjusted the date I expect to receive it. I received the item on time (about half a week after I've ordered it) but the jacket was missing embroidery I paid for. I immediately emailed them about it with proof. They did not answer. This was on a Tuesday. Friday rolls around, and they have not answered. I called and left a voicemail. A few days later, they still have not gotten back to me. This is annoying because I shouldn't have paid rush order for an incomplete jacket. Now I am delayed even further. On top of that, there are a lot of threads sticking out. I want to be clear that ive ordered multiple items before the event im about to discuss and had no quality issues therefore I had no interaction with their customer support. Now that ive sais that I will address the disgusting attitude their customer service has. I ordered 3 shirts for my 3 pledges for their finishing week. 2 came in fine one had holes around the stitching. I emailed them with pictures and let them know the other two were fine. They first asked if the shirt was the right size and I said yes that was the right size. Immediately after that they then said well we never mess anything up before sending it. I dont have time tonight to finish this I'll email you tomorrow. No email ever since. Ive rea hed out 4 times and another brother reached out and we have been met with silence. I was absolutely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two shirts in a rainbow peace sign pattern with my sorority letters on it for myself and my friend. I received shirts that were completely different. One of them consisted of only purple and pink and the other consisted of blue yellow green and orange. I was aware of the disclaimer that the colors may not be exactly as they appear on the screen. I did not expect to get two completely different shirts. On a standard retail website, when you put something in the cart but don't check out, it stays there just in case you want to purchase it in the near future or until the stock is out. In this case, I ordered something as a gift and saved it so I can simply enter payment information when I got paid next week. A customer rep called me in a few days to ask me if I still wanted the item. I said yes I'll get back to them with the payment info. They proceeded to call me 2 more times (once when I was at a conference) and send me 2 emails. When I went to purchase the item today, it was deleted. Can you please change the way your service works to something much simpler for EVERYONE involved? Learn from the big retailers, because obviously what they're doing is working. Ordered a jersey for my little and was called and asked for an extra $8 to meet the shipping date I chose, which I thought was fair. When the jersey hadn't shipped in over a week after it was supposed to arrive, I called only to find out the guy I talked to knew from the beginning that they were out of softball jerseys and wouldn't receive them until well after the shipping date I paid for. I got only a curt apology and promises to refund just my extra shipping cost and that my jersey would arrive in the next 2-3 days. I have only ordered from the web - have never been to the store. I have ordered at least a dozen shirt/hoodies from Something Greek and have been pleased with every single one. They have a great pattern selection, and they always do an excellent job with assembling the shirts - the letters never look sloppy or rushed. I recently ordered two shirts and had a rush put on them. I received them quicker than requested, and the shirts were perfect!
