In 2024, the limited edition Sabrina Carpenter Espresso ice cream sold out very fast. I stopped by Van Leeuwen in Peabody after dinner. The friendly staff member offered me free samples of ice cream before I decided to get the Goodest ($9.60 plus tax) choice of 3 flavor scoops in a cup. I got the Earl Grey Tea, Vegan Summer Sweet Potato & Marshmallow Fluff and Sweet Corn & Blueberry Jam. They do not accept cash at checkout, but they have a cash to card converter machine in the back. There is limited seating inside the shop and outside patio tables & chairs in front of the store. I enjoyed the interesting flavors I chose for my dessert, not overly sweet, but light with robust flavors. The core flavors of Van Leeuwen Ice Cream are also in stock at my local Walmart in NH, but I still enjoy going to an actual Van Leeuwen Ice Cream scoop shop for the experience and a nice treat.
