Seriously... what's wrong with you guys? Why are your cookies/cookie sandwiches so damn good? JEEZ. I was taking a bite out of it and shaking my head like this should be illegal. Ordered the chocolate chip/cookies and cream ice sandwich and it was elite status. From the presentation (wrapped up in aluminum foil like a five guys burger sandwich) down to the texture/flavor. It's also dope that there is both a brick and mortar bake shop and separate food truck. Dope customer service as well. Absolutely zero complaints here.

Whoever thought of selling cookie ice cream sandwiches is a genius. A wide selection of cookies and ice creams together to make a classic treat... just such a great idea. There were probably 10 or so cookies, ranging from chocolate chunk to smores. All of which looked SO good! Then there are various ice creams to put between the cookies on the sandwich. Nomnomnom. I got a classic chocolate chunk cookie with vanilla ice cream. It was so good!! My only gripe is the price. $5 for the sandwich or $5 for two cookies and a glass of milk. Seems steep. If I lived in the area this would be a rare treat to myself. The cookies are also sold individually and by the half or full dozen (which are boxes up nicely). The two women working there when I came in were VERY friendly! Seems like they have a great staff and great desserts. Definitely recommend.

We came after a successful surgery for my daughter on her discharge day and we grabbed ice cream sandwiches to toast. These things are HUGE. I got the chocolate and coffee ice cream sandwich and it was way too big to eat at once so I got to save the other half for the next day. My husband got the Beach Bum which is a snickerdoodle sandwich with coconut ice cream. Totally amazing.

Best cookies ever! The cookies are homemade at the store, and while other cookie stores come close, they'll never achieve the care put into these cookies and the tastiness of the final product that Cookie Monstah achieves (Insomnia, I'm looking at you). My personal favorite is the cookie sandwich with peanut butter cookies and chocolate ice cream. While it's a little too big to put in my mouth, it's the best. Different from the trucks, which we've visited on previous visits to Boston, the bake shop has some bake treats, such as pound cake, some cake that smelled sweet and had strawberries in it, and others that rotate on, apparently, a consistent basis. And apparently I'm not the only one who thinks this place is the best. We visited at 2-2:30 and people just kept coming! As we were about to leave the line was practically out the door.

Good cookies, but shorted one in our half dozen. Insult to injury, the one they left out was a premium one that they charged more for.

I did notice they also had a refrigerated section with prepared foods like pastitsio and moussaka. It's a small shop, but very clean and has very interesting food at every corner. Everything was very fairly priced. The baklava is la carte. I got a small assortment of about 7 small-medium sized pieces of baklava and my total came to under $20. The girl behind the counter assured me that the majority of what I bought stays fresh for weeks or even months and she gave me storage tips for the custard I purchased. I will def be back!

A place that you would order your birthday cakes, pastries, cookies, breads, deli sandwiches, and of course pan pizza. Alice of pan pizza is a popular breakfast or lunch option! In addition, there are quiches, calzones, these amazing looking loaf cakes, pies, cannoli, deli salads, and much more! Just being open on a Sunday was a huge plus. We need to pick up some sandwiches for an early lunch. We ordered large (only $1 more than small) and they are ginormous! Definitely shareable or enough for a second meal! We ordered a side red potato salad. And of course a pound of cookies / biscotti! Everything tasted great! I hope we have time for a second visit during our trip! It was very busy around 930am on a Sunday morning. Very organized and well staffed for the business. Most were picking up pre-orders (cake, etc.). Ordering sandwiches wasn't an issue that early and pans of pizza were out! Love the East Coast and surely miss it! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Most of the customers seemed like local regulars! That says a lot too! Parking is very easy. Large lot shated with another business. Front and then a larger lot on the side. Nice as most parking in this area (including Marblehead and Salem) is street parking only, very few lots! There are plenty of tables for dining inside. Our next will.be hot sandwiches and/or pan pizza and calzones!

This place has amazing, inexpensive Brazilian goodies galore. They have an extensive menu, printed…read morein Portuguese, which (thank you, babelfish) tells you that the only products available are the ones that are on display that day. Cool. I am totally fine with that. Because everything I've tried from here has been amazing. Sombremesas=Desserts. They have oooeey gooey coconut bars, some peanut buttery things, chocolate mousse, a pudding that tastes like flan with a carmelized top, bon bons galore, cake, caramels, and rice candy...I'm falling into a sugar coma just thinking about it. Over 20 selections are listed on the menu that I can't read, and the most expensive item is the "Pudim Grande"-large pudding- which I'm pretty sure is what they call the flan-like thing. Everything else ranges from $1.50 to $2.50. The treats are different than typical American bakery fare, some are ridiculously sweet and some are very understated. It's a taste adventure I recommend embarking on. Salgados=Salty (this is the heading on the menu). Ha! That's an accurate way to describe the treats listed here. Pretty much you will find an assortment of fried goodness...Croquete de Presunto e Queijo (Ham & Cheese Croquettes), Empadas filled with chicken, ham, beef, or cod, plus a bunch of other turnover-like meat pockets of goodness. I've had a round one filled with very flavorful chicken & cream cheese, a ham & cheese one, a steak one....all delish. The prices range from $1.90 to $2.85, with one outlier at a whopping $3.50. All very filling & not too too greasy. There are hot sauce & mayonaisse packets available if you are so inclined. A cheap lunch (or munchie fix) for sure. My friend & I like to grab a couple sweets & a couple salties (If they call em that, I'm calling em that. Dammit), drive to the beautiful cemetery right down the street, split everything in half, and stuff our faces. Last time we spent about $8.00 and couldn't even finish all our goodies. There is also a large selection of breads for sale (got 4 ham & cheese rolls for $1.00 one time) and apparently they make sandwiches...the language barrier prevented me from realizing this when I was there; I'm excited to try one once I translate the menu. Also there are "Polpas"-which translates to pulps...which according to the fine print can be mixed with water or milk. I'll be trying one of those, too. Probably the abacaxi (pineapple). Yum. To wrap this up: This place is great. It can be a little hard to find because the store is not very clearly marked: look for slightly tinted plate glass windows. They have all that I mentioned above plus coffee, a buffet on the second Saturday of the month, Brazilian candies & other products you can't find many places. There is also a very friendly and accommodating staff. If you ask them what's good or what is inside something they will help you out. Live a little. Visit Chocolate Bakery.
