This was a quaint little shop that sells candy, popcorn, and beverages. It has an old time feel to it. I was nice looking though everything they sold and all the flavor of popcorn they had. Employee was very nice and helpful. Some items were sold out but it was later in the day. Nice place to stop by and support a local vendor. read more

We visited looking for kettle corn. It was about 4 pm and they were sold out. So I'm taking it as a positive note that it has to be that good that they didn't have anymore at that time. So we need to try visiting a little earlier in the day. They do have all sorts of tins that you can purchase and fill with any type of popcorn you would like to purchase. The store is on the south side of the quaint Medina Square and a short walk across from the city gazebo. A good selection of mixes and sizes of popcorn. The Medina mix is our favorite: contains an equal mix of cheddar and caramel popcorn. Staff is friendly and quick to fill tour order. Prices are fair for the product. Two mini bags of standard mixes costs $5. Great for a quick snack or for milking around the stores on the Square. read more

What an awesome little shop in historic Medina On The Square.. Many popcorn flavors sold in several sizes. If you want to sample a flavor, just ask. How can one not like flavored popcorn. Their caramel corn has peanuts which is a plus. The fruity flavor is also yummy. It's street parking if you want to be close to the shop with pay meters. Otherwise there is a parking garage if you plan on touring the square. Yum Give them a try and I think you won't be disappointed. read more

This cute little popcorn shop is located in downtown Medina in the square. We stopped in while we were visiting the ice festival. It's a little different than any other popcorn shop I've been to. They have candy, drinks and popcorn buckets out for purchase. All of their popcorn is in the back of the store. You order it and then they bag it according to your order. We decided to go with the simple caramel and peanuts, but they have a variety of chocolate and cheese popcorns as listed in one of my photos. My favorite popcorn shop ever. I sometimes drive all the way from Cleveland for it. It's comparable to Garret's in Chicago. Love it!

Love this place! Ordered 200 small bags of 8 varieties for our daughter's wedding reception and it was a huge hit as a late night snack with hungry guests after hours of dancing. Perfect gifts for Xmas too. Very nice staff and very willing to help!! read more

I stopped here on a recent visit to medina square and when there is popcorn, I have to try it. My husband and I really enjoyed the samples we had and loved the Movie Theater Butter best. They let you try as many samples as you want which is a plus. We bought 2 junior bags and 2 mini bags each being a different kind. My only gripe here is the popcorn is expensive! The jump in price from a junior bag to a small bag for their regular popcorn flavors is ridiculous! The price goes from $7 to $17!! Yowza! The popcorn here is good but that's too expensive. read more

Popcorn is pretty good albeit overpriced. But main complaint is the owner (?)/ woman in charge is a complete grump. Someone who owns a popcorn shop, let alone any small retail shop, should have someone who at least smiles once in awhile and doesn't make it seem like you're putting her out by being in her shop. I wanted to give 3.5 but rounded up. The store is downtown Medina in the square off the park. The space inside is large, but not filled with much. They have some candy, although nothing really intriguing or worthwhile and some specialty soda lining a few shelves. There is then a counter next to a board that is busy and lists the various popcorn varieties and prices. Since I wanted to support a small, local business I had planned on purchasing something. I was mainly bummed that you can't see the popcorn. Maybe I'm just the weirdo that needs a visual, but they really needed examples on the counter or someplace. The lady working there was nice but I felt like we were an inconvenience and she wasn't super talkative or offering suggestions. Essentially, I stared at the menu board, asked to try a variety of popcorn, the lady had to walk to the back (leaving us unattended) and get a small sample cup. Then repeat this process as needed until you decide what you want to purchase. It was weird. I tried to flavors, got tired of the lady just staring at us, and just picked something to buy. There was also some chocolate covered items (Oreos and pretzels) available, but the items were very limited. I guess I'm not sure why they actually have a physical store because there wasn't much to interact with and look at. Overall, I was underwhelmed and disappointed. The popcorn was very good, thus they really should be pushing it. Also needed to fill that store with fun candy to lure in the kiddos. If you are in Medina, it is worth a trip but I was just bummed with the experience. read more

Maybe we came in on an off day? The shop is adorable but the process of sampling flavors was awkward and we really felt like an inconvenience to the girls behind the counter. As a supporter of small, local businesses, I went in with the intention of buying something no matter what. Because of the awkwardness of the employees, we just decided to buy a portion of fudge to take home instead of bothering them with getting samples of popcorn from the back (the only samples on the self-serve side wall were fruit flavors). When we got home an opened the fudge, it was so dry and hard around the edges that it was cracked and crumbling apart. It definitely should not have been sold! read more

Walked by after visiting a local attraction at 5:50 p.m. Doors were locked and the sign says they close at 6:00 pm....sad cause this is my first impression. Would have loved to try it. Even worse the workers saw me try to open the door as their cleaning up. read more
