Dr. Soni is an excellent orthodontist. I brought all three of my nephews here to get braces, and they all absolutely loved their experiences. I researched Dr. Soni before coming here. He is a specialist in orthodontics; this sort of endeavor requires being one of the top 10 students of his class. We, the parents (uncle in my case), think that bed-side manner (Dr. Soni's is excellent, btw) is more important than the degree. However, intelligence and knowledge of the science behind orthodontics are extremely important. When my sister had braces done in Alpharetta by another orthodontist, her braces resulted in loss of bone around her teeth, and now dentists are saying that she may lose her teeth earlier as she ages. Please be careful when choosing your children's orthodontist and do some research on the orthodontists around your area. I highly recommend Dr. Soni. read more

Dr. Soni is absolutely fantastic. If I have any issues with my teeth, he is extremely helpful. He is always willing to try and fix any concerns that I have even now that I have had my braces off for two years! When I had my braces on though, I was currently attending college about three in a half hours away. He was very understanding and was happy to work with me on scheduling my appts so i could avoid missing classes. I would have to say he is a bit of a smile perfectionist because he carefully inspects your teeth's progress and makes it a point to make sure you will be undoubtingly pleased with your ending results. The whole office staff is super sweet, smiley and very welcoming. This is the only health related appt I actually look forward to going to! The whole way through the process of getting braces and all the follow ups and the removal the staff has been GREAT. I felt like my business meant something to them. I was looking for the best orthodontist for my children and I found Dr Parag Soni in Dalton, GA. Friendly and warm from the first phone call, they are definetly focused on customer service. What set them apart for me in making a choice for orthodontic care was their high tech office with-out losing the high touch that I was looking for. Dr Soni and his staff have always been very accommodating with appointments, rescheduling, and fitting us in when anything needing to be checked in between appointments. Both of my daughters have already had their braces removed and I feel like the high level of service continues. I unfortunately recently broke a piece off of my molar and had to give in and make a dentist appointment. I have a tendency to avoid dentistry due to a dental phobia, so I went to this office in hopes of receiving sedation dentistry in a professional (and sanitary) setting. I called when I arrived (as I didn't want to take any unnecessary health risks) to ask to be alerted when my appointment began so I would not have to sit in the waiting room, and the receptionist snarkily informed me that pandemic restrictions had been eased--and that they would not come out to get me. She then tried to argue with me that cell service was spotty, so they wouldn't call me in my car either. This was despite the fact that I was on the phone with her with a GREAT signal from the actual parking lot. It was pretty empty, so I gave in and went inside a couple of minutes early. The office was filled with religious paraphernalia, which I found a little strange for a dentist office but not super unusual for the South. Then I turned the corner to see two receptionists wearing NO masks. Ironically, they took my temperature and then told me to sit in the waiting room. I mulled over the tiny list of possible scenarios where being maskless would be acceptable, and this situation qualified for none of them. I sat for a total of 3 minutes in the waiting room before deciding I wasn't going to put up with this in a medical establishment. I walked out and called to cancel. I told them why, and they had the nerve to ask if I wanted to reschedule!
