If you like shakes and paying extra for add on's just to not get any of said add on's, come here. 4 nights ago I ordered a medium shake with a few add on's. It was nearly a $15 shake. I even tipped $5 ahead of time as I always do. When arrived home it was just a normal shake, no add on's whatsoever. I paid approximately $20 for a regular shake. Wtf!? Against my discretion, I ordered again last night. My lady wanted to try the pickel burger. When she took a bite, she bit into a habenero pepper, seeds and all. Nowhere does it say there is habenero in the burger. They don't even have habenero available on the menu. How the hell does that just appear? They had to purposely put it in there. Waited 20 minutes for 2 sodas on a Wednesday afternoon. This location completes orders early to maintain their times, cheating the system that is supposed to hold them accountable. Management probably encourages it so that they get their bonuses for meeting their times. My order was completed according to the drive up kiosk, but my husband ended up having to walk in & they had no idea what was going on in there. I went to Sonic Drive-In and waited 20 minutes just to get a simple order -- a burger, fries, and chicken nuggets. That would've been frustrating on its own, but to make things worse, they didn't even get the burger right. No apology, no explanation -- just slow service and incorrect food. The fries and nuggets were barely warm by the time I got them, and the burger had missing ingredients despite being a standard menu item. It honestly felt like no one there was paying attention. Considering the time it took the tots were expected hot but are just warm. The sundae tastes good though the Snickers are missing. They included napkins, a spoon and a peppermint candy (nice touch but stale). Considering this is a restaurant the food should be at the proper temperature. But MY GOD does this staff suck at masks. Every single one was going around with either their mask completely down on their chin or it still not covering their nose. I had to ask the girl bringing my food to please put hers on before I rolled down the window because it was completely down on her chin. How long have we been living in this pandemic? The inside dining area is always dirty, tables are never wiped down, seats dirty, floors not clean, windows/doors are filthy, smudge marks and never clear to look through. Take a towel & glass cleaner to them already. Makes you wonder what the back where the food is prepped looks like. Management is never visible. The dining room should be clean and welcoming for customers not gross looking. Stop skimping on filling up Sonic Blasts to the top, especially when a customer spends $17 on 2 larges. Holy cow, where do I start? I was not expecting great food when I stopped in Sonic, just maybe a quick bite and get back on the road. I was wrong on all accounts. This place underdelivered on every expectation of fast food. I waited over 20 minutes to place my order after I pushed the "PUSH BUTTON TO PLACE ORDER" button. 20 minutes to answer the call box may be acceptable when there are a ton of customers, but this was not the case. No. The reason that they were ignoring customers is because the employees were worrying about a neon sign advertising HOT ONION RINGS. For 20 minutes, they ignored all the customers while an employees climbed on the counter to fiddle with the plug, tap on the neon transformer, pop open the drop ceiling and dig around. Essentially anything other than serving the customers. After placing my order another 25 minutes passed before we got our food. I watched my order sit on the counter for over 15 minutes, so by the time I got it everything was cold. Maybe because the neon sign was needed to keep the food hot? I don't know. Now to the taste of the food. The tots that my wife ordered were cold and the oil they were cooked in was well beyond stale. Very dirty oil imparts a terrible flavor in food that is even worse when it gets cold. The cheese burger that I ordered was inedible. It tasted like they had used dish soap instead of mayo and I couldn't even swallow the only bite that I took, it was so gross. My cheese sticks were also cold and tasted like they were prepared in the same oil as the tots. The only edible thing that either of us ordered was my wife's chicken sandwich, which se said was "OK." Thank god for the drinks because I needed the calories and that was the only thing I could consume. Almost 50 minuets for "fast food" that was neither fast nor would I qualify it as food. Do yourself a favor. If you find yourself at this exit for fuel, go ahead and get gas but wait until you get to the next exit for fast food, or get some gas station snacks instead. Clearly the employees don't care about the customer nor the quality of the food. P.S. There is no way that neon sign was accurate even if it did work because I don't think this location understands how to deliver anything when it is hot. read more

We got assaulted in their parking lot by what were assuming is the managers friend. Kid got out of his car and hit our passenger window said "I'll beat your f***ing a**!" My Sonic fixation continued as we made our way from Page to Phoenix. We made quite a few stops on our way to Phoenix-mostly due to wanting to visit with people who either live up North or were up North to get away from the heat. I have a friend from high school who now lives in Camp Verde so we made a brief stop and upon leaving, hit up this Sonic for yep, Happy Hour! Since this was my last Sonic experience of the week, I decided to stick with what I like best-a cherry slushie. This one was really really good and for some reason, they put in like 8 maraschino cherries which really pleased my husband (I don't eat them but like the flavor) and anything that pleases him makes me extra happy. The delivery of our drinks was smooth and the girl delivering could be on America's Next Top Model (if she can get out of Camp Verde) and we enjoyed watching all of the teenage boys swoon over her. read more

This was my first Sonic experience.....It was....interesting. It's a drive in, not a drive through. Soooo, I swing the rental into a stall between trucks two deep on either side. I see the little "car hops" running around bringing bags of fatty goodness. I look at the menu.....I make my selection......I check my blackberry....I check my cell.......Still no food wench...... Then it hits me. Maybe I have to summon the wench. So, I push a red button, and viola! A disembodied voice asks how they can help make me fat by providing some fried treat and high fructose corn syrup. After that, the food got there super fast. The batter on the onion rings was kinda sweet. There's so much stuff on the menu it can be a bit overwhelming. The cherry limeade was pretty grubbin', but it had a TON of ice. First and only experience I would ever ever have @Sonic You know, when you watch those Sonic commercials, they are usually late at night and they really make you want to go and eat there. But then, you can't really find one around LA area and the mystery just gets bigger and bigger. My hubby and I went to Sedona to attend my sister in law's wedding. We were driving up from Phoenix and we were passing this place by at like 2AM. We promised to each other that we will try this place out on the way back, and we did, today. It is literally drive in. They have places that you can pull in, order, and eat. They also have dine in place with a restroom. It was ok. Kind of messy but bearable. We ordered two sonic burgers, one chili cheese potato tots, and one Cheddar Poppers. Burgers were ok, but I'd rather go to McDonalds than Sonic's burger. Cheddar poppers were horrible. No flavor whatsoever and the attempt to see some flavor in ranch dressing provided was urr.... failed attempt. It was so blend and frankly disgusting. Even Jack in the box, just a regular fast food joint that can be found in street corners everywhere, has seriously good jalopeno poppers. Chili cheese tots..... wow, dinky little portion of chili and cheese. The servers were very slow. What was really amusing, tho, was how people couldn't take orders. After eating our meal, we wanted a sonic blast with Reeses Peanut Butters. I said Reeses Peanut Butter Sonic Blast twice, and the guy goes, Oh, Oreos? When I said it one more time, the order went in for Butterfingers. Apparently, the customer's order is only a suggestion. You get what they put in for order anyway. Don't expect free refills here.
