i've previously come to this location and experienced great service and great food but recently the new staff are incredibly dense. I ordered an Oreo cupfection and received nothing but ice cream and brownie. The girl making it looked anorexic and even though she can't eat food that doesn't mean that I shouldn't get the entire nine dollar ice cream I paid for. stop ripping people off. read more

Sorry to say, the ice cream cones have gone synthetic. Mine didn't look or feel like ice cream anymore, didn't even melt. The vanilla cone was more like cold, soft, airy marshmallow. No dense, creamy texture. I guess that's my last one. Bye-bye! read more

We don't how the food is because no one was willing to get off their ass to take our orders. We waited at the counter for 5 minutes while we watched 2 employees play in their phones and ignore us. I have been coming to this Dairy Queen since the day it opened. I lived here for 33 years and moved away in 2014, but stop for a treat when I visit. There must have been a change of ownership since my last visit, because I recognized no one. I bought one large chocolate and vanilla cone. The chocolate was large, the vanilla was small. But the kicker was the cone was cracked everywhere and 20% missing at the top. I complained to the lady and all she did was stare at me and shut the window. Then a man came into view, and I waved at him and showed him the cone. He said what's wrong with is. I gave him a C'man man look and he sarcastically said "I didn't make it"! Like others have said some of the staff have a Real attitude here, they either don't listen or Don't speak English very good. The burger and blizzard I finally managed to order With the 2nd person was fine. This was after The original person at the counter just walked Away and left me standing there. If anyone reads my reviews you will notice I am not a huge fan of fast food. Most fast food leaves me with a feeling of regret an nausea. Every fast food except...my beloved Dairy Queen. Don't get me wrong I defiantly don't feel good about myself when I leave here but at least I am happy to have had one of my most favorite meals. I get the Flame Thrower meal. Super spicy and the fries are to die for. I literally go out of my way on trips to Phoenix to stop at Dairy Queen. They are one of the few ones that I have seen in the state that still have the Hot meals most are ice cream only. In the summer you could call me a regular visitor and can find me at my local DQ with a giant blizzard in my hand. This place does have a longer than usual wait but this is due to them starting your order when it's placed and I can not recall any food tasting like it came right out of the microwave. read more

I went to this DQ February 23rd at 4:15 p.m. on a long drive from Flagstaff to Phoenix. I ordered a snickerdoodle cookie dough blizzard and to my horror all I received was vanilla ice cream with stale cookie dough bits in it. Absolutely terrible. We just ate lunch here. It was not very busy. We ordered the lunch special and our food was correct. However, while we were eating two different people came in and complained about wrong food. The manager was good but the other employees seemed to not have a care in the world and goofed off. Overall the food was good but our food came with a blizzard and when we went back to get it they immediately came out with it and it had obviously been in the freezer the whole time we ate rather than being fresh and you could tell. read more

Great little DQ, fast friendly service and it is a Brazier DQ which makes a great stop between Phoenix and Flagstaff.

This is our favorite place to stop on the way home from Flagstaff. The hot food is always hot and freshly made and the Blizzards are better than from any of the Phoenix area Dairy Queens. How his employees could do it (smile)three of them but not Him is beyond me . I'm not going into detail just the fact that ice cream makes people happy but the manager of this Dairy Queen is not . Food was good if you don't mind paying nearly double standard DQ pricing with displeased staff. This DQ is combined with a Mexican fast food restaurant, though they have separate kitchens and dining areas. Other than that it was not bad. I advise you do drive-thru or eat somewhere else. read more

I have been to all three of the Dairy Queens in this area, and the Camp Verde location is by far, the best. It is also the best I have been to (nationwide) in 20 years! The food is fresh, NOT reheated like so many fast food places. And their malts are "to-die-for"! read more
