Man when you have to come back 4 years later to complain about the same place Now I've stopped coming here but now I've picked up DoorDash while my kids are in school . I should have known better than to accept another DD order from here because they are notoriously slow, unprofessional, rude, and ignore customers to talk with other employees. After driving 4 miles to get here, waiting for 15 minutes, I finally unassigned for the order since I was going to be marked "late delivery" if I was to wait and complete the order. The past two times (over two weeks apart) the ice machine has been broken and no mention of it until after they hand you your warm drink. I add strawberry to my Sprite and two times in a row I was given a drink without strawberry. When I ask about it they tell me they're out. This is conveniently after I've already paid. I paid for bacon on my burger, and got less than a single strip of bacon on my burger, after waiting half an hour for a single combo meal. This place disgusts me. I love the Sonic chain of drive in restaurants. They offer a variety of fast food items and have a multitude of soft drink options. Service is usually pretty good at this location. I was in the area for a recent visit and I realized that they were offering half off drinks between 2 and 4pm. Knowing how good they are, I wanted a cherry limeade. I also ordered a foot-long Coney dog, with French fries. The fries were good. Generally speaking, the food items are pretty good. Now let me explain about the Coney hot dog. Detroit is king when it comes to serving up Coney Island hot dogs. We originated the concept decades ago and the recipe varies slightly from one food establishment to another. They all generally use high quality ingredients. Something about my Sonic foot-long Coney Island wasn't quite right. The bun seemed to be sliced too far and it kept falling into two pieces. The Coney sauce was so-so to just okay. The hot dog itself is made from pork and beef. Maybe that's what threw me for a loop. If you have never experienced a Detroit Coney, you will probably be pleased with Sonic's offering. My recommendation if you love Detroit style Coney Island hot dogs is to look elsewhere. read more

This location does not have any drive up food bays open and thank goodness we drive a big truck because it took so long with no service in line through the drive-through that we had to drive over the curb to get out of line! I've never had a bad experience at Sonic, yet they are sometimes slow and the milkshakes are not as cold as I like them. Yet, they have such a great happy hour that I always seem to find myself here! I keep giving this place a try because it's close by but I'm done. Every single time I've gone they always mess up the order. Most of the time I don't even realize it until I get home which is even more frustrating! Today we go it and asked for raspberry tea and we were given tea mixed with coffee. Disgusting! Don't even bother going during a busy time because the line takes at least 30 minutes and the people can't get the orders right and have you repeat yourself at least 3 times! What's not to love about Sonic? Love this location because it's right by my house and while the service can be slow, they have never messed up an order and they're always friendly. I love the Supersonic breakfast burrito, imho the best breakfast burrito in town - it makes a McD's burrito look like a pathetic joke. Tots in a burrito? Yes, please!
