I've gone to this sonic several times, each time is just a bad experience. Long waits, multiple stalls that don't work with no warning until after you pull in, and my order is almost never right. Honestly, it's better to drive across town and go to the sonic off Broadway near Conley than it is to go to this particular Sonic. read more

I love Sonic and have missed all of the goodness that's packed into the mozz sticks. This location was a little confusing to get to (there's no direct entrance off the main street), but they were fast, courteous and got my order right. Took forever. Was brought the wrong order multiple times. Shouldn't be waiting in my car for fast food for over an hour.

They don't let you up-charge and substitute in Sonic Blasts in their combos, but do let you with their shakes. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense considering I ended up opting for the shake and spent less money overall. Corporate policy or not, it'd be nice to see them give corporate the finger and do it anyway. Fairly quick service. Will upgrade rating when they make the menu more versatile with the aforementioned example. read more

I've only had positive experience at this sonic. My go to drink is the frozen limeade and I get it in the route 44 size. Something about lime drinks...Tonight I was torn between a vanilla shake or the Oreo cheesecake, so Patrick (my boyfriend) said he would order both and whichever I didn't like he would eat, whattaman. Haha. The Oreo cheesecake tasted artificial so I had the vanilla instead. You can never go wrong with vanilla. read more

Ordered a cheeseburger, 5 chicken strips, a diet coke and a water and a "doggie cup" The cheeseburger was typical Sonic and good. The chicken strips were a bit overdone. The doggie cup was soft icecream in a cup that was rather large (and free) and was loved by a particular black lab that happened to be with us :-) 3 stars is A-OK which is what this visit warranted. read more

Most of the time I go to this location there tends to be a wait but I notice there's usually only one person running the food. I am usually not in a rush so I don't mind waiting even for just a soda. Every time the employee who runs out my drink is so kind and appreciative that I waited that I can't even be mad if I had to wait a little bit. I always wish I carried cash or tipped better on the app! They're always running around trying to get orders out, doing the best they can! Just go to a different Sonic or a gas station if you're trying to get a soda before your nightshift. Went here tonight only wanting a soda with extra ice. The college kid on the mic thought it'd be cute to continuously repeat back something completely different than what I ordered. And when he got done playing his little tiddely winks, he wanted to try to say a ridiculous amount. For what it is Sonic is a gold star winner! Cheap food nice people cool ambience comfy car comfort food what more can you ever ask for?!? Is this place a five star Michelin winner know but who cares it's called sonic it's meant to be fast food made right make you happy and smile be on your way and not be hungry anymore enjoy it! Despite getting my burger wrong twice, they were so very accommodating and kind, that I'm giving this Sonic 5 stars. The manager actually made the third burger himself and brought it out to the vehicle. What a pleasant experience compared to other fast food chains. This sonic is terrible about making cherry limeades (diet) correctly. Every cherry limeade is supposed to have a wedge of lime and a cherry. 50% of the time I order here, there is no cherry and no lime. I have called the manager and he has assured me that yes, a cherry and lime wedge should be in each drink. He gave me a free one that time since I called which was nice. Yesterday I got one again with no cherry and no lime. Today i tried again and I noticed that I had the same carhop as yesterday. I told her there was no cherry and no lime in yesterday's drink. Instead of apologizing she looked at me and said, "yeah I didn't put any in this one either". I said I have talked to a manager and he said all drinks should have it. She offered to go get me a cherry and lime but looked extremely put out about it so I opted to just leave without it. This happens all the time and is super frustrating. How hard is it to remember to include the two ingredients that are IN THE NAME of the drink that you are making? I usually go to the sonic of business loop but I was on this side of town. The first thing that went wrong was that it took me 5 minutes to place an order. I pressed the button 6 or 7 times before they asked me what I wanted. We waited 15 min and pressed the button to ask where our food was. They said it was on the way out. The next thing was that of took them 25 minutes to bring the food out. As we wereabiut to pull away she came running out the door with our food. Fed up, I asked do I seriously have to pay for this? She sarcastically said yeah, why not? Not very happily we gave her out money and left. To find out after returning home, our order was wrong. Onions on our burgers and missing an order of tator tots. She gave us a strawberry limeade instead of a cherry limeade. And it was late at night so there were only about 5 cars there. Will not be returning. read more
