I have been to this Sonic a few times. The burgers are good. Better than many of the other fast food places. I do not care for their French fries and I am not a fan of tatter tots. I have only used the drive thru and never parked. I have never had to wait very long and service has always been quick. read more

Really long service. My card was charged for the order of the car behind me. They didn't get their food anyway because many cars at the drive through were giving up after waiting a long time. Not a Sonic regular and I won't be back. That said, the burger was pretty good. read more

I had an AWFUL experience at this Sonic. We drove in, ordered, and waited for 40 minutes. We waited some more. After waiting for a full 50 minutes we still had NO FOOD. We were not the only ones. Seemed like everyone else who had parked and ordered had the same issue. We got so fed up that my boyfriend went into the store to ask for a refund. He went in calmly (as many other people were yelling, swearing and visibly VERY upset) to talk with the cashier. The cashier gave him a refund but never apologized or gave any excuse as to why we (and everyone else waiting) had no food. Went during lunch today, the icee machine broke and that was our first disappointment. Then the cashier came out to our car waiting in line and took our credit card without a word, and brought our drinks back with it. About 20 minutes later we got to the front of the line, and got food bags -wrong order. The staff made the right food, and 10 minutes later we had all our correct stuff and left. The staff seemed indifferent, except for the manager who seemed sincerely apologetic and gave us free ice cream cones to eat while we waited. The ice cream was great, best I've had in a while, the rest of the food was okay at best. Idk what was going on today but it was a mess and I probably won't be back in a while. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I've been here twice. Both times the food took over AN HOUR to get to us (neither times were busy, maybe 2 other cars). On the bright side they gave us our entire meal free both times but still... I don't even understand how a couple Burgers could take that long to make and serve. If there is one car in line, plan 8-10 minutes to get anything, even just a lemonade. If there are 5 cars, plan 40-45. I have no idea how this place stays in business, as they have the worst service ever. read more

Im not a big fast-food fan, but when I saw crowdcut had a coupon for sonic, I thought Id give this place a try. I had no idea that sonic doesnt have any places to sit inside, but they only have drive-in and drive-thru. Saw a car pull up to the drive through, then go around...so pulled up to the drive thru, too, thinking I'd get service. Nope. Nothing. Bring your kids, bring your kids! I don't have kids of my own, but from time to time, I treat myself to Sonic slushies which feeds my inner child. Where I live, we don't have Sonic, so it's a guilty pleasure I enjoy when I do get the chance to stop by in the Twin Cities area. To be honest, I have eaten a few of the food items, but not enough to be held accountable for a proper say on what the menu offers. I do want to rave about the slushies though. Come during their happy hour friends! I just got a watermelon slushie for 0.64 cents and it was one of the best purchases I've ever made! I was not aware it was even happy hour, and when the guy on the intercom told me my total, I thought that he gave me some sort of secret deal (or he pressed some wrong buttons and I got lucky). Well y'all, it wasn't a secret deal, but rather a deal that anyone & everyone can take advantage of! Their slushies give you a fruity flavor blast for the day, so indulge! I've never been to a Sonic and was excited to try it. The service was so slow in the drive thru I considered just leaving. From ordering to getting my food was about 25 minutes which is insane for any drive thru. The food was mediocre at best. And the staff with long hair were not wearing hair nets which really grossed me out. None of the staff seemed to be in any rush at all. Like all great stories I will start from the beginning, it was a beautiful February afternoon, me and my buddy decided we would get some grub, we pondered for countless minutes on where to go, we finally came to the conclusion that Red Robin would be a good choice. We got to Red Robin and we were told it was a 15 mtinute wait. At the time we thought that would be no problem, then after waiting for approximately 5 mins there was just no way we could continue. We then looked for other restaurants close by. We had to pick something quick because neither of us had eaten all day and it was getting close to 3:00 pm. To our fascination we saw a Sonic drive in. We pulled up and ordered a 5 piece chicken tender with fries and a footlong hotdog with tarter tots. I Highly recommend the hotdog at 2.99 with tots included. We waited for our food for about 12 mins and 20 seconds. Personally I was ok with the wait because I was in the comfort of my own car and could listen to music with out having to look at other people. On another note the waitresses were extremely visually satisfactory pleasing. Overall at the end of the meal I didn't feel like taking a giant dump so I would recommend if Red Robin has too long of a wait. read more

And my dear friend who has been traveling abroad for 6 years was delighted to come home to her one true love, not me, but Sonic. But to her surprise, she was highly disappointed in America's drive in of the 20th century. She said that they had better food in Haiti, where she was abroad #1 the car hop sounded high. #2 my chicken was colder than ice. #3 took forever to explain what we wanted because the car hop was so high #4 very rude. #5 got our order wrong. Not once, but Twice #6 I ordered a medium onion rings. And I received 3. Yes. I did only get 3 #7. Claire ya. Bout her. She was high, rude, and very disrespectful to my Haitian Friend, and also had the manners worse than a baboon. If Claire is working here by my next visit I will b contacting sonic head quarters. Also We had to go through the drive through because they told us They didn't want to go outside to give us our food. When we got our shakes. Claire basically threw them in our car. Spilling them on my very expensive bag. Not dropping any names. But it starts with Claire. When I asked to speak to a manage, Claire spun around in a circle and said "I'm the manager b****" which I obviously could tell was a lie. I wouldn't even give it one star. I have never been to a Sonic before, this was my first time and will definitely be my last. We parked our car and placed our order. The girl taking our order was extremely rude. Don't know if the girl taking our order was the same one who brought the food out to us but she wasn't friendly at all. We realized we didn't have our onion rings we had paid for but the girl of course didn't provide us with our receipt so we had no way of proving we had paid for it. We decided to forget about it and not go in to deal with the ghetto unprofessional employees in there. I've heard the food is awesome but after trying it, it really isn't that great at all and for the price it sure isn't worth it, I'd rather go to DQ. I see lots of negative comments about this place so obviously the manager or owners don't care much about improving the place. Maybe it was just this location but I will never try any Sonic again. We started the drive through at 9:25 PM and got to the drive through window at 9:45 pm. The cashier told us what the amount totaled to and I handed over my credit card. From the time I handed over my credit card to the time we were served our 3 Sonics, 20 more minutes had passed. The cashier served 6 cars behind us in line before someone came to ask us "you're waiting for the corn dog right? " When I explained that we were in fact waiting for our sonic blasts, THAT is when the employees started making them. After being at the drive through window for 20 minutes. When I complained, I was told it was just a busy night. But we were completely ignored for those 20 minutes, while six other customers were served behind us. The service was absolutely ridiculous. The employees tried to appease us with some extra sonics. When I emailed customer service to complain about the service, I got a canned response that did not address my concerns at all. read more

Stopped here on a rainy day and for my first Sonic experience, I have to say I was very pleased! And for the price, I can't complain. For three people getting combos it was under $20. Absolutely terrible! This place should be cleaned out of staff and owner and start all over again. We been to many Sonics and never had a problem like we had here on 7/4/2016. Pulled into the drive in booth and pushed the red order button. After 15 minutes of no service we pushed the flashing red button again. It flashed still and on the screen it said someone will be with us shortly. After a couple minutes someone inside turned off the red order button. Instead of leaving, we decided to use the Drive Thru. Mistake! We placed our order and had to wait another 20 minutes to get our order. The guy at the window started to give us our drinks and said they were diet! Wrong! We ordered to regular Cherry Limeaid drinks. No apology or confirmation from him. He returned with two new drinks and gave us our order. We left and waited until we got home to eat. A 40 mile drive. We came here just for Sonic since this is the closest to us. When we got home we found out the two Bacon Cheese Dogs on Pretzel Bun were the Perfect dog on Pretzel and were totally loaded down with mustard. Not edible. Also the Classic Grilled Chicken Sandwich was a soggy Chicken Club Toaster. My wife ended up tossing this in the garbage along with the two mustard dogs. My son Chicago dog was terrible as well.
