Saw only 4 cars in the little stalls. Guy on the mic says "hold please." So I did, plus I was still looking through the menu. No problem. 10 minutes pass by. I hear nobody on the mic. I yell (softly) hello? No problem, I'm pretty patient. Another 3 minutes go by, still nothing. I yell "hello" again, this time a little louder. Intercom was still quiet. I should mention a car was behind mine by now. So I look at the guy and say no one's there, then I left. Shortly after I left and was stuck at a stop light, I see the same car behind me. This location is always slow but tonight was a whole new level. We ordered a slushie and a mixer through the app after not getting an answer for 15 minutes on the drive up. We checked in. After about 20 minutes, it told us that someone was on the way with our order. Another 15 minutes passed and no one came. I walked up to the location to talk to someone because it had already been 55 minutes since we arrived and 40 minutes since we ordered (2 drinks, that's it...). I spoke to one of the employees and told him how long I had been waiting. He said "that's nothing" and walked back inside. There was another woman standing outside and she said that she had been waiting for an hour and 45 minutes for her chicken tender meal. She said that they were turning people away in the drive through telling them that they were closing although it was still over an hour before the closing time that was listed. As I waited outside the store, I watched the seven employees inside letting around talking to one another. After another 15 minutes, I was brought my drinks. There was no apology for the delay, just handed them and shut the door in my face. I'm extremely disappointed. The liston was not exceptionally busy, they looked well-staffed. We have always liked sonic but now are rethinking about coming back after this experience. read more

I've had much better experiences with Sonic elsewhere. I waited far too long for my order to come out. I ordered from the patio outside the doors on the screen. They were out of wings, which were half off after 5pm. That's the first let down. I picked a few items off the value menu: Breakfast burrito, fries, Chicken strip sandwich, and ice cream. After a long wait because the drive in and drive thru orders were given priority, I got my food along with a free raspberry smoothie. The fries were small and somewhat cold. The burrito had little flavor, I had to add picante sauce to taste it. The smoothie was extremely sour. The only decent items were the chicken strip sandwich, and the ice cream. The sandwich had 2 oversized chicken fingers on a lack luster bun. The chicken is a good value on this sandwich that came with a side of BBQ dip. Finally the the ice cream cone was nice and had an extra vanilla country style flavor. read more

When we went here there was a power outage, so I took this in consideration when reviewing Sonic. Yes, I did rate it as a 1 star. I can understand that things happen that is outside of their control. The power outage was one of them. They seemed fairly organized regardless and were well staffed to handle the situation. They had a person directing traffic and also one to take orders at the drive through. Kudos on their part for this good organization. The food: I ordered a couple Jr hamburger kids meals with apples slices and milk for the kids and I ordered a Texas toast sandwich. We ended up getting a couple cheeseburger kids meals minus the apple slices or any side. Luckily they didn't screw up my sandwich ;) If there is one thing I can not stand at fast food places is the complete lack of a double check in the drive through. There should be no excuse for messing up and yet I see it happen so often. My sandwich was good, but the fries were not. I don't like my fires soggy. It was almost like baking frozen fries and pulling them out of the oven too early when they are still wet. These also tasted like frozen fries. While we ate, we wondered why the kids weren't eating their cheeseburgers, even though they were very hungry. So we tasted it and wow! (not in a good way) These had to be the worst cheeseburgers we have tasted. Absolutely loaded with mustard and the meat was flavorless. (probably why they put so much mustard on it). In short, we ordered, order went unfulfilled. The food sucked that they gave us and we will go to Taco Bell right next door (which had power), next time we want to grab a bite to eat. read more

I love Sonic for fast food. I got the blue raspberry slush. I like the slush drinks because they last. Cheddar poppers are my weakness here. I like the burgers and how they wrap them. I won't get the super thick shakes too often, and didn't this time, kind of hard to handle. I went to use the bathroom and the door was locked. They forgot about it when they opened, also didn't notice that the toilet seat handle was broken off. I like this location because it's part of the hood, and they have a lot of shade. read more

I was snarled at by a large woman with braids as she ripped my credit card out of my hand when I went up to the window to pay. No 'hi, how are you?' Nothing. Never tried Sonic - thought it would be something fun. However, this location is a drive-in. And they also have a drive-thru, so no sitting down inside, obviously, but I didn't know that, having never been to one before. I installed the app on my phone - app installed easily, and was very easy to use, but... it's unnecessary. It's fast food - order at the drive thru and leave (though looking through some of the other reviews, that might not be that fast...). Ok, so far all my own fault and dumb expectations. But I order via the app - got a half-price deal because I just installed the app, so it would be ready when I got there (5 minutes away). So I pull into a drive-in stall, at this point realizing I can't go in and eat, check in via the app, and a little later, my food comes out. Minus any napkins or the extra ketchups I was careful to order via the app (and which was a clear line-item on my receipt. So I had to get out, go into the grimy store and ask for stuff any reasonable person paying any attention to their job would have included in my order. No "sorry", or any discourse at all - just a sullen hand-over of some ketchups and napkins. I don't expect bowing and scraping, just a tiny acknowledgement of an omission would have been fine. Overall, a disappointing experience. The "Bigger Brunch Burger" was ok - would have been better hot, but that's what I got for ordering early. No reason to eat here again - too many other better options. read more

Pulled into a drive in stall and told all stalls are closed right now, please go through the drive through. This totally defeats the purpose and novelty of the restaurant. When I arrived some time just after 6 pm on a Thursday we had to wait almost an hour for our food. Once we placed our order I saw an error on the receipt and hit the call button again. No one answered and after twenty minutes of no answer or food we finally were able to talk to an employee walking by to try and fix whatever was happening. About thirty minutes later our food finally arrived. It arrived with extra items we did not order which has me thinking someone else got shorted on their items. We were not the only stall waiting impossibly long for simple service. The whole experience took over an hour while the whole time we could see the staff just standing in the kitchen doing nothing. Stopped in for lunch today (5/12/17) and saw or was busy both at the regular drive thru and car hop lanes. I got in the regular drive thru lame where there were 7 cars ahead of me. I knew this would be a bit of a wait but I was okay with it. I waited 18 minutes to get to the speaker. Once there. I waited... and waited... and waited...six minutes...360 SECONDS... NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT! I said hello several times...I pulled up a bit...I backed up a but... nothing. Finally... after being here 25 minutes and never having ordered. Waited over 15 minutes after placing order via drive-thru. Got to window and it took forever to get our order of 1 burger, a shake and a mixer. You'd think we ordered 30 burgers and 20 shakes based on the time it took! Then we get home, my husband bites into the burger and spits it out. Absolutely terrible and not fresh. I personally am not a fan of Sonic's food, but I do like their limeade and some ice cream desserts. This time, though, the shake barely had flavor and the mixer was barely mixed. I've worked in fast food before so the score given is from my experience of this place. The three times I went to this sonic, everything has been wrong, from having to wait for Salsa for my burrito for 8 minutes after taking +15 minutes to get my order. And today no sauce was given on my chicken strips, there was hardly any lines today too, all but 4 people in drive through including me. Don't know if Management is wrong of employees but either find other workers who will do the work or change management as it does start from here, aside from it this definitely deserves the score it did. I really enjoy their food. I mean where else can get the old-fashioned feel of a drive-in restaurant with the classic milkshake to go with your burger. Yet they have so much more. I've been here three times and tonight is the last time I'll be there. We ordered three shakes and we were one of three cars in the lot. After twenty minutes of waiting, we asked when they'd be out, the person on the other end snapped at us and said they'd be out soon and we waited another five after that. The drinks were already melted when they got to us. My shake had chunks of malt powder bigger than quarters and my boyfriend's had a full third of a banana as well as a PIECE OF STYROFOAM floating in his drink underneath the whipped cream. We were appalled by this service. The staff was rude and this ridiculous wait time has happened every time we've gone, no matter if we are the only ones there or not. It had been a few years since my last visit to Sonic as our first experience was bad. I went this time because they had a special on their burgers and thought I would give them another chance. Service was fast enough but the burgers were over cooked and dry. I also ordered mozzarella sticks and they were ok. Nothing to write home about. I usually enjoy the Sonic but this location has had issues everytime. I went in 10/31/18 at around 7:20 pm. The first issue i had was the drivethru person was joking around with other staff that we could hear yelling. Then to make matters worse i was shorted a corn dog and the other three we got tasted old and weren't even warm. The tots were tossed into the bag and were also cold. I tried to call the number in the receipt but nobody picked up. So i called today (11/1/18) and just asked for a refund, owner was rude and condescending. He gave me his name at first but when i asked the second time so i could document the conversation her refused and said "i've already given you that, the GM's name is TJ" he said. So apparently he's sending me a refund but didn't even ask for my name. It's a shame because i've been to sonic's several times in other states and other location here in MInnesota but this has to be the worse sonic experience i've ever had. I'd suggest to anyone craving sonic to snap out of it and try something else. This place continually has issues accourding google reviews, facebook & yelp, giving customer attitude just goes to show that the reviews are right, this place is mismanaged, lacks knowledge of food safety and has horrible customer service. read more

My husband and I just had the worst experience at this location. From recent reviews I just read on here, it seems to be the common experience. The guy that took our order was unbelievably rude. Then even though we were literally the only people at the restaurant it took over 20 minutes to get one burger and one breakfast burrito. I asked for the manager and here the crabby guy was the manager. I feel bad for the one nice guy that was working there with him. Won't go back which is a shame because we used to think it was a fun and unique place to go. They need to get rid of the bad apple before the place goes under for that reason. read more

I love Sonic. However, this particular store, not so much. They made my ocean water with club soda, not Sprite. I asked for no cheese, no onions, but all of the condiments. I got a cheeseburger with onions and only ketchup. We ordered 2 juice boxes but one was without a straw. And to top it all off, my kids did not receive a toy or treat with their kids meal, but a coupon for a free ice cream cone that expired last year! Don't stop eating at Sonic, just stop eating at this one. I gave it 2 stars for the nice guy who was working the drive through window. That's all it has going for it. read more

Messed up orders, forgetting drinks etc. Went today, online says they are open until 10:30, we go there at 10:00 and they wouldn't serve us, they said they close at 10:00.
