I love getting the cheesecake here. I normally would get the tiramisu cheesecake, however, I was craving a chocolate something or other slice, but without having to chew on any chocolate chips, and a lot of the chocolate slices have chocolate chip sides and I don't like that. So I opt for the chocolate tuxedo cheesecake, which has a thin layer of chocolate on all sides of the cheesecake no chocolate chip crunches or anything that I would really need to chew extensively. I like to drink coffee whenever I get a chocolate dessert it really brings out the chocolate. The service is always spectacular at cheesecake I feel like they go through some sort of extensive CUSTOMER SERVICE training because they all are exactly the same professional sophisticated, friendly, and very kind service and every Cheesecake Factory that I go to. Cheesecake factory has NEVER been my favorite go to place to go eat. even though I also work in the Ridgedale mall This was a second time I've happened to be dining there twice in one month because of a friend's birthday and let me tell you both time we've been disappointed. I sat at the bar. Didn't really get the attention that we needed. The male bartender was very standoffish. It wasn't busy and still didn't talk to anyone at the bar countertop. EMAIL COUPON WAS REALLY STRICT ON EXPIRATION DATES, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ONLY A DAY LATE FOR THE BIRTHDAY DESSERT. The bartender won't budge and I end up asking a manager to approve the coupon. I decided to still give my 20% tip cash before even closing. even though I do not think he deserved it, I did it anyways. We wasn't acknowledge with a Thank you nor He couldn't even look at us as we leave the bar. Located right inside/attached to Ridgedale mall, this location seems to be steadily busy! The menu is very very expansive so you should be able to find something for everyone however because of that, I don't think any of their dishes are super spectacular except for maybe their cheesecake! Our waitress was very kind and attentive despite the business. They provided complimentary bread which was a nice touch! I had the veggie burger which I thought was really bland. Used to come here all the time. Took my elderly parents here over the weekend and idk what happened. Cold food, schitty quality, and either a new waitress or one who just doesn't care. Got 2 slices of cheese cake to go and sizes were half the size of the past and screwed up one of the orders. Kinda sad for $120 these days. I expect this quality at McDonalds on a bad day not Cheesecake Factory. This was at 330-400 on a Saturday so it's not like it was busy or anything like that. Issue one: they don't take reservations for parties larger than 6 - which is such a dumb policy and makes it impossibly stressful to plan a get together here. Issue two: I know it's their thing, but the length of the menu was making my head spin and when a menu is that voluminous I doubt they can make everything well. Issue three: the portion sizes are absurd. I ordered a lunch-sized chicken piccata and it was like 3 people worth of food, which is just not appetizing. Issue four: way over priced for what it is. A kids spaghetti and meatball was $12 and that is all it includes, no fruit or veggies or drinks. Another solid dinner at Minnetonka's Cheesecake Factory! I had a dinner reservation a few days in advance for my husband and our toddler to have dinner at 5:45pm on a Saturday night. I'm glad I did as this place is always packed and hard to get into on the weekends! Didn't help us that it was also Prom that weekend, so lots of people wanting to dine here. We started off with 2 baskets of bread and butter which is always warm, fresh, and 10/10. We then tried something new to us, the Crispy Fried Cheese. It was good, but we usually order the Fried Mac and Cheese Balls and even though it had the same breading, the Mach and Cheese Balls are better since they provide more of a variety in each bite versus the one note flavor of the Crispy Fried Cheese. I like that the breading has the taste of Parmesan in there which helps elevate the crispiness of the dish. For the main meal, my husband ordered the Chicken Bellagio and I ordered the Egg Roll Sampler. Both were just what we expected as we have had both before. Our server was attentive and even boxed all our leftovers up for us, which was a HUGE help as we were busy wrangling our toddler. i just got home from having lunch at the cheesecake factory in ridgedale. i had the chicken madera and it was very good except it was to have been served with asparagus. the asparagus was terrible....maybe the worst i have ever been served anywhere!! the asparagus was not even the size of a pencil in width. and it was old like it had been cooked yesterday and then placed on top of the entree and covered up with some gravy. and on top of that, the asparagus was undercooked and could not be chewed it was so tough. and, i was given 4 skinny stalks of asparagus with a $30.00 entree....ridiculous......ruined the whole meal. i happened to be dining with a group and did not want to bring up the issues with the wait staff or management while in a group setting of people i had invited to lunch........I WOULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS IF IT WAS POSSIBLE!!!!! Just an update for all the yelp folks.....the cheesecake factory attached a response to my review and it was a canned response....they really do not give a damn about my experience....look at all the reviews that are critical of the restaurant.....same meaningless response with a word changed here or there. i laughed when the cheesecake response said "i hope you give us another chance." no way in hell....your food is over priced and the ONE vegetable you served with my meal was so bad it ruined the whole dining experience. read more

I haven't been to Cheesecake Factory in YEARS until tonight. My friend and I were looking for an easy dinner spot with lots of options to please everyone and a comfortable spot to meet and chat. I was pleasantly surprised at the ambiance of this place. The lighting is really cool and much nicer than I had expected for a chain. We actually made a reservation in advance and requested a booth, and upon arrival saw probably 10 open booths -- again requested a booth and they said there wasn't any available. Then they sat a bunch of groups of 2 at those booths in the following couple of minutes. Totally makes me upset when they do this...especially when we thought ahead and asked for the booth ahead of time. We ordered the Avocado Egg Rolls, Louisiana Chicken Pasta, and the Oreo Cheesecake. All were decently good. Nothing to write home about, but good. We had a server in his first week of serving, so there were a few hiccups like empty water glasses, forgetting share plates, and aggressively checking back near the end of our meal, enjoying our dessert, seemingly urging us to vacate the table. I would have ordered a drink, but there were no drink prices listed -- biggest pet peeve when they do this at restaurants. Have never had a bad experience at Cheesecake Factory......tonight was no exception. NUMMY! It's just so far away. My fiancé had the grilled chicken avocado club that was very tasty, (maybe a tad heavy on garlic) but still super delicious I moaned after I took a bite of his sandwich. I ordered what I thought was called chicken piccata but now I can't find it on their menu but it was very good with a lemon cream sauce and capers, the angel hair pasta was perfect not too heavy, not too light. Every bite was heaven. And they bring out a warm bread basket with your meal. And their menu is enormous, if you can't find something to eat here something is wrong with you and everything they make is wonderful!! Guess that is why they are always busy. One good thing about chain restaurants is that they are usually pretty reliable and consistent no matter which location you visit. This spot is connected to the mail so it can get pretty busy. We got in the virtual waistline ahead of time but still had about 10-15 min wait. Our waiter was great, serving sized were ginormous and the cheesecake was rich. We had a mix of pasta dishes and burgers and all were very good with plenty of leftovers to take home. The avocado egg roll was good, but the sauce does not go well with it (just me , my friend thought it was good) i dont like savory and sweet together. My son loved his kids meal of 3 corn dogs and fries and I loved the skinnylicious version of both the shrimp scampi and holy cannoli their Brussels sprouts BANG!!! This is the second time I come to this place. I had excellent experience first time four years ago and again I got an accident experience this time and I said outside. My friend insisted we order the chicken Madeira and I ordered Thai salad. The chicken was good and it was a huge enough for three people. The set it was good also and enough for three people with the crispy chicken on top of it and it was not spicy which is important because many people don't eat spicy food. We got here on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm and got promptly seated so that was a good indication that we would be served in a timely manner. We got an appetizer (fried calamari - definitely recommended) and everyone in the party ordered drinks and their food at the exactly 1:08pm. The appetizer came really quick and so did the complimentary bread and the drinks but then the wait began, it was 4 of us in our party. People came and sat next to us left and right and got served left and right :( we did not get our food till almost 2pm, almost 50 minutes after placing our order! The main courses were meh... maybe it was because of the sour taste from almost the hour of wait in our mouths but I can surely speak for my food. I got cane asada steak which came with corn and white rice. The rice tasted rough, very sticky and you could tell that it had been sitting in the rice cooker for a long time. The meat (although well done as requested) was bland-ish. I rarely to almost never leave food on my plate, but this time around, was more than happy to leave almost all the rice on the plate. I will say that our server was nice and every 5 minutes or so would swing by and share the status of our order after it had been more than half an hour of us placing our order.
