I love getting the cheesecake here. I normally would get the tiramisu cheesecake, however, I was craving a chocolate something or other slice, but without having to chew on any chocolate chips, and a lot of the chocolate slices have chocolate chip sides and I don't like that. So I opt for the chocolate tuxedo cheesecake, which has a thin layer of chocolate on all sides of the cheesecake no chocolate chip crunches or anything that I would really need to chew extensively. I like to drink coffee whenever I get a chocolate dessert it really brings out the chocolate. The service is always spectacular at cheesecake I feel like they go through some sort of extensive CUSTOMER SERVICE training because they all are exactly the same professional sophisticated, friendly, and very kind service and every Cheesecake Factory that I go to. Cheesecake factory has NEVER been my favorite go to place to go eat. even though I also work in the Ridgedale mall This was a second time I've happened to be dining there twice in one month because of a friend's birthday and let me tell you both time we've been disappointed. I sat at the bar. Didn't really get the attention that we needed. The male bartender was very standoffish. It wasn't busy and still didn't talk to anyone at the bar countertop. EMAIL COUPON WAS REALLY STRICT ON EXPIRATION DATES, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ONLY A DAY LATE FOR THE BIRTHDAY DESSERT. The bartender won't budge and I end up asking a manager to approve the coupon. I decided to still give my 20% tip cash before even closing. even though I do not think he deserved it, I did it anyways. Located right inside/attached to Ridgedale mall, this location seems to be steadily busy! The menu is very very expansive so you should be able to find something for everyone however because of that, I don't think any of their dishes are super spectacular except for maybe their cheesecake! Our waitress was very kind and attentive despite the business. They provided complimentary bread which was a nice touch! I had the veggie burger which I thought was really bland. I was invited to a birthday lunch here, otherwise this wouldn't have been my choice! Issue one: they don't take reservations for parties larger than 6 - which is such a dumb policy and makes it impossibly stressful to plan a get together here. Issue two: I know it's their thing, but the length of the menu was making my head spin and when a menu is that voluminous I doubt they can make everything well. Issue three: the portion sizes are absurd. I ordered a lunch-sized chicken piccata and it was like 3 people worth of food, which is just not appetizing. Issue four: way over priced for what it is. A kids spaghetti and meatball was $12 and that is all it includes, no fruit or veggies or drinks. Another solid dinner at Minnetonka's Cheesecake Factory! I had a dinner reservation a few days in advance for my husband and our toddler to have dinner at 5:45pm on a Saturday night. I'm glad I did as this place is always packed and hard to get into on the weekends! Didn't help us that it was also Prom that weekend, so lots of people wanting to dine here. We started off with 2 baskets of bread and butter which is always warm, fresh, and 10/10. We then tried something new to us, the Crispy Fried Cheese. It was good, but we usually order the Fried Mac and Cheese Balls and even though it had the same breading, the Mach and Cheese Balls are better since they provide more of a variety in each bite versus the one note flavor of the Crispy Fried Cheese. I like that the breading has the taste of Parmesan in there which helps elevate the crispiness of the dish. For the main meal, my husband ordered the Chicken Bellagio and I ordered the Egg Roll Sampler. Both were just what we expected as we have had both before. Our server was attentive and even boxed all our leftovers up for us, which was a HUGE help as we were busy wrangling our toddler. I haven't been to Cheesecake Factory in YEARS until tonight. My friend and I were looking for an easy dinner spot with lots of options to please everyone and a comfortable spot to meet and chat. I was pleasantly surprised at the ambiance of this place. The lighting is really cool and much nicer than I had expected for a chain. We actually made a reservation in advance and requested a booth, and upon arrival saw probably 10 open booths -- again requested a booth and they said there wasn't any available. Then they sat a bunch of groups of 2 at those booths in the following couple of minutes. Totally makes me upset when they do this...especially when we thought ahead and asked for the booth ahead of time. We ordered the Avocado Egg Rolls, Louisiana Chicken Pasta, and the Oreo Cheesecake. All were decently good. Nothing to write home about, but good. We had a server in his first week of serving, so there were a few hiccups like empty water glasses, forgetting share plates, and aggressively checking back near the end of our meal, enjoying our dessert, seemingly urging us to vacate the table. I would have ordered a drink, but there were no drink prices listed -- biggest pet peeve when they do this at restaurants. One good thing about chain restaurants is that they are usually pretty reliable and consistent no matter which location you visit. This spot is connected to the mail so it can get pretty busy. We got in the virtual waistline ahead of time but still had about 10-15 min wait. Our waiter was great, serving sized were ginormous and the cheesecake was rich. We had a mix of pasta dishes and burgers and all were very good with plenty of leftovers to take home. The avocado egg roll was good, but the sauce does not go well with it (just me , my friend thought it was good) i dont like savory and sweet together. We had a stressful day at the house with a sick baby and all I wanted was some delicious food delivered to my doorstep. Thankfully Cheesecake Factory is on DoorDash and they were offering $0 delivery fee. My son loved his kids meal of 3 corn dogs and fries and I loved the skinnylicious version of both the shrimp scampi and holy cannoli their Brussels sprouts BANG!!! Of course we had to get cheesecake and my son loved his Peanut Butter cup slice (that he'll eat for the next week because they're huge!) and I did too but it's quite rich. My friend insisted we order the chicken Madeira and I ordered Thai salad. The chicken was good and it was a huge enough for three people. We got here on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm and got promptly seated so that was a good indication that we would be served in a timely manner. We got an appetizer (fried calamari - definitely recommended) and everyone in the party ordered drinks and their food at the exactly 1:08pm.
