If this could get 0 stars, it deserves it. This is the 2nd worst fast food location I have experienced having traveled through 37 of 50 states. The orders are usually slightly incorrect. The wait times are so extreme that one could go to a place like Applebee's, get seated, order, eat, and finish paying in the time it takes ON AVERAGE to get a meal served, regardless of whether it is ordered in the app for drive-in or ordered at the drive thru. So I was waiting in the car for my food, and I was waiting in the drive-through and nobody would respond at all and the "" boss"" said she was talking with her boss, but she wasn't talking. Unfortunately sonic going downhill is an understatement. The signs are all deteriorating, the menu in the second drive thru is missing. I was second in line, stuck with another car behind me so I couldn't leave. I waited 14 minutes before making it to the menu. Half the menu wasn't available. Made it to the drive thru, received the wrong item which they corrected. However this isn't the whole story, I went earlier (now 2:06pm) then at 12:30pm and was told their staff didn't show up and to come back later lol....only to fill my sons sonic blast craves he's deserved, I won't go back unless completely necessary. Really bad. I've tried to go a few times now and every time there's a machine that's broken and/or they're out of something basic like ice cream. Most recently, allegedly they didn't have change and were only taking exact change. They also stated they were not taking credit cards and were only serving soda. I was super excited to find out a sonic was near me, I haven't been to sonic in years but unfortunately it didn't go well. The person taking the order wasn't directly rude but had a rude tone while making it oh so obvious she did not want to be there. Have not been there in a long time, it's never busy. I was hungry for a hot dog ( for the record no places that sell hot dogs on this side of the city. I go thru the drive thy go to order a hot dog and the voice from the speaker says we are out of hot dogs and ice cream. The first fine is on the ice cream but about 30-40% of the menu is hot dogs. So we know why this place is doing so badly. It's got to be a franchise better off closing the place. The parent company must not have an inspector checking on them. read more

Visited Sonic for the first time on August 29 to get a " quick take home dinner ". After getting home and taking foodstuff out of the bag I found the food was burnt , dried out , undercooked and food items in one of the beverages that wasn't even included as a option on the menu . The chicken slinger was a disaster.A cherry limeade drink had baby spinach in it! french fries & tater tots were dried out and a order of cinnasnacks was soggy/undercooked. I called the drive in and was told " .. we are busy and can't deal with this ." and female employee hung up the phone . I contacted sonics corporate office the same day , gave all the information, copy of receipt and photos of the bad food orders. I received a email on September 12th asking for more information ( the identical information I had previously submitted ). I resubmitted the details they requested . Sept 18th I got a email stating the drive in that I bought the food from would be contacting me in a few days . Well it is now September 28th and I have yet to hear from anyone about this . nice job Sonic update 10/08/2021 still no word from anyone about this incident . goes to show how great their customer service is ... read more

This sonic is close to our house, so when we're in the mood for fast food or ice cream we've tried to go to sonic a few times. I say tried, because we've waited both in the drive through line and parked in a dine in car park spot for over 20 minutes without getting served. Drove up to the empty drive-thru speaker and waited eight minutes before anyone spoke to us; when the worker did, she was curt and unfriendly. They were out of vanilla syrup for the drinks, so we ordered a cherry limeade, a Coke, a diet Coke, and tater tots. The tots were lukewarm, broken, soggy, and tasted like old grease; the Cokes had a peculiar aftertaste and the cherry limeade was oddly bitter. I have gotten this exact order from other Sonics in Pennsylvania and Maryland, so I know how these should taste and be prepared; my wife has had hundreds of cherry limeades. This is absolutely not typical of Sonic standards, but quite typical of Sonics in the Syracuse area. Judging from the grounds and what I could see through the pickup window, cleaning doesn't seem to be a priority here: dirty surfaces, and the worker's uniform was covered in stains. We ended up throwing everything away; it was an annoying waste of $8. The kicker is, this was during so-called happy hour -- I can't fathom having the nerve to charge full price for this. I have had below-average experiences here and at the North Syracuse Sonic, which I believe has the same franchisee -- but nothing this bad. Sonic corporate needs to either insist on a massive overhaul of these stores, or shut them down entirely. read more

I've attempted to visit this location two times in the past month, each time they have been closed a half hour earlier than their hours state. If they are open, options are limited as to what you can order and the staff is always extremely rude. You will definitely be waiting in the drive thru for a half hour. It was my first time in awhile, I was very excited but shortly my excitement turned to a let down feeling. There were 3 + people in the kitchen but looks like 1 or 2 were actually working. The employee who was working and preparing our drinks was great. He was able to replace a drink because they didn't have the one we originally wanted. The food just took a bit and when we got it, we were missing some items but had already drove away before we realized. mistakes happen but just a little disappointing. I would give a second try but maybe during the day when there is more staff and more food available. 6/10 read more

I enjoy the cinnamon rolls they have here the most, and the seemingly endless beverage options. The lavender berry milkshake was amazing!!! Also one of the few places you can get a huge cold drink at a whopping 52 ounces, great for long hauls and you don't wanna keep stopping for drinks. You can have it almost any way you want it. I was pretty surprised to see the reviews to be so low here. I would probably chalk it up to growing pains for them just opening. I have been here quite a few times for lunch at work and while nothing about this place is epic, it's pretty tasty if you know what to order! I usually always get the chili cheese dog and fries. Sometimes I also get the bacon double cheeseburger and fries which is also pretty darn good. It really depends on your mood though. The service isn't as slow now as some of the others have mentioned. That could be due to them finally getting their groove going. The food is good for a quick lunch and the people working there always seem to be nice. It isn't one of my top eateries, but it's not too shabby at all. The prices are always really fair so that is one of the high marks I need to point out. read more

When we finally pressed the call button again, we waited 5 minutes and the the attendant said to just give her two minutes. Finally they brought something but they brought the wrong thing. I asked for our credit card charge to be cancelled but the person did not know how to do it. So then it took another 15 minutes. But then they brought no spoons. read more
