Service was great our server was very attentive with drinks and checking on us. My shepher's pie was delicious. Never had it with pot roast before but it still had everything else you expect from it plus the crispy hashbrown crust. Unique and inspired. The fried chicken was flavorful and tatsy but thr okra was overcooked. A Manager saw and offered to replace it but it was close to when we had to go so we appreciated it but said no. Always enjoy thr gift shop after as well. Never can't get something.

We were en route to New York City and of course if you're doing a road trip in the United States, you've gotta pop into Cracker Barrel. We arrived at around 10:00 in the morning and I was a little disappointed to discover they only serve breakfast at that hour. But a quick perusal of their menu led me to the Bacon N' Egg Hashbrown Casserole ("Hashbrown Casserole with crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, melted cheese, fried and green onions, and diced tomatoes.") It arrived a really long time later, like a confusingly long time later, but was ultimately worth the wait. This is one enormous, delicious concoction. The different layers all work really well together, and I loved that bottom layer of Hashbrown casserole. It was so good (and so filling). I also ordered the French Toast Latte ("Cinnamon flavor, espresso and steamed milk, topped with whipped cream, cinnamon crumbles, and syrup, served hot"), which arrived cold and with ice, so that was weird. Also I had to wait 10 minutes to drink it because our server dropped it off without a straw. Anyway, it's seriously sweet but it hit the spot. Aside from service issues, I enjoyed popping into this Cracker Barrel. I'll never get tired of its rustic ambiance and down-home cooking, that's for sure.

While heading thru the area we decided to look for a mid-afternoon bite to eat & happened upon this Cracker Barrel. I'm used to these places being busy during lunch & dinner, but it was still busy even at this time - fortunately we only had to wait a couple'a minutes. When we were seated, we were able to get our drinks and place our orders quickly - so it wasn't too long until we found ourselves noshing on our entrees. Food was good and our server was attentive - all in all a good visit. (Always seems to be noisy at a Barrel). Had to wait a bit in line to pay the bill...but when hasn't that been the case in a Cracker Barrel?! ;)

It had been years (since I was a teen) since I've dined at a Cracker Barrel, and I honestly couldn't remember what I should expect from this restaurant. So, in many ways, it was almost as if this was my first time all over again. Instantly, upon entering the general store, it felt nostalgic! The delicious smells coming from the dining room were a plus. I realized we had made a great choice by choosing to dine at Cracker Barrel. We were greeted and seated within 5 minutes. Our waitress was very kind and offered her suggestions of menu items to try. We opted for the loaded tots, Grandma's sampler, and French toast & chicken with sweet tea and coffee for our drinks. The tots were cooked perfectly! The Grandma's sampler ended up being way more food than my husband realized (large enough for 2 people). However, it was delicious. The French toast and waffles were very tasty as well. My favorite item was the country sausage that comes with the sampler. After the first bite, I instantly teleported to childhood summers in the south, so memorable and delicious!!! Overall, we really enjoyed our brunch and look forward to returning with our daughters for another comfort food dining experience.

First time here - we were visiting for the New York State Fair and stopped on our way back home on Sunday morning (September 4th, 2022) for breakfast. I've heard lots of great things about Cracker Barrel and was so excited to finally set foot - the country store with all the knick knacks and seasonal decorations just made my day. If you like cutesy things, decorations and unique souvenir items, this is really the perfect place. We were a group of 4 and everyone found something worthwhile. From clothing, beauty products, halloween or christmas decor to candy - it was awesome. There was little to no wait to get seated, we just wanted to shop around and took a good 20 mins or so admiring all the items in the store. Back in my hometown in Canada - there is absolutely nothing like this experience - I was giddy just to find some pumpkin spice and apple flavored caramels which aren't sold back home! In terms of the actual food - our party of 4 ordered a variety of things, like a "build your own" breakfast - eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, pancakes, strawberry cheesecake stuffed pancakes, steak and eggs, fried apples, biscuits and gravy... we shared and tasted everything on the table and it was all amazing! This is the way to go if you're not sure what to pick- try it all! I was particularly impressed with the choice of toppings for my pancakes, I was expecting an extra charge for maple syrup but they served the real deal in a cute mini bottle just for you! Also got to try the bluberry syrup and it was like fresh preserves- delicious. None of that corn syrup or artificial flavoring you'll find at other chains. Prices and portions were reasonable - with the amount of choices they have and real meals you can get outside of breakfast, you can't really go wrong.

Nothing valuable about this place. If you're hungry, eat here. If you're looking for good hearty food, run. They used to be amazing and food was so rich and portions were big. Now it seems they're trying to cut corners. French toast tasted gross tbh and plain, the chicken was just embarrassing...boiled chicken on my plate, no seasonings or flavor. the plate didn't look appetizing when it was served. They could at least try harder plus the server was less than attentive when taking our order. No turkey products whatsoever to replace the pork, so they stopped doing that too. Unfortunately i will not be coming back here, i left hungry and feeling nauseous from the service

Amazing stop at Cracker Barrel!!! I've been to Cracker Barrel quite a few times when I was living in Ohio but my fiancé has only gotten take out once when we were on a trip and it was the only thing open that night. He was skeptical but after the meatloaf and chicken n' dumplins we got he was sold! Everything came out so quickly and was hot and freshly made. I love when I go with someone I can share because there's so many things on the menu I want to try. I always love being able to have a corn bread muffin and one of their homemade biscuits because it is so hard to decide between the two. By far my favorite side were the carrots and hashbrowns which were recommended by our waiter! Such a fabulous visit we will definitely be back when we're in the area!!! If you're looking for a place that's fast and fresh but still taste like home cooking definitely make a stop at Cracker Barrel!

I've always enjoyed Cracker Barrel and their comfort food. This was a lunch special $7.49. It was a great deal. Perfect serving for one. Delicious meatloaf, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, and a biscuit and muffin. Best part was I didn't have to go and buy all the ingredients and cook it.

Supposed to be medium rare. Came well done, dry AF, flavorless and awful. Never ever again.

Worst meal ever. Worst Cracker Barrel location ever. Wife was being thoughtful and knows I love steak, so she ordered take-out and got me the most expensive thing on the menu, a New York Strip, medium rare. Yes, I know, who would expect a great steak from Cracker Barrel? Not me. I did however, expect it to be edible. It was well well well done. I ate 3 small bites and cut up the rest for my dogs. This was a $23 meal. I ate the broccoli, I ate half the mashed potatoes, and I ate half a biscuit. Then I fried myself a hot dog. All in all, this was by far the worst piece of meat I've been served by a restaurant. If you hate yourself, eat here.

Hair in my sausage, was about to throw up after trying to eat it.

He has a breakfast menu with platters, sandwiches, pancakes & waffles, offers different coffee options, fish fry Fridays, and Soul Food Saturdays. I went into Harts today after reading a good review about them, and I work pretty close. I LOVE pastrami, and it is not easy to find home made pastrami in the area, so I was immediately interested. Chef Miguel gave me a whole run down of what he offered, told me how everything is fresh made from the pastrami to his whole grain mustard, so I ordered a half pastrami sandwich with a side of his seasoned fries. He also has one of those machines that squeezes fresh orange juice, something I've only seen in one other restaurant here, and I love fresh orange juice, so I ordered once of those as well. He went back and made it immediately. My sandwich was fresh and hot, with thick slices of delicious pastrami on a roll with his home made tangy musatard, leaf lettuce and tomato. The HUGE pile of fries were seasoned well, and I can't place what the seasoning reminds me of, but it's different than any other fries I've had here and they taste great. A half sandwich, large side of fries and fresh squeeze juice cost me about $20. Chef Miguel was extremely friendly, and has a lot of stuff on the menu I want to try, cause I'll definitely be going back.
