When you go BEFORE 4p the service is decent. After that it is VERY VERY slow and the kids are typically not very friendly. The Route 44 Cokes are always great, which is what I go for usually. Food is hit or miss...but after 4 it's more consistently cold or stale. After 4 it is not uncommon to wait a minimum of 20 minutes. The drive through is a bit better but not much. Just about every bay has broken card readers. The location is out dated and some what run down. I have complained many times about all of these issues and nothing is done. I will say most of the kids before 4 are pleasant and do a pretty good job with food/drink, but still a bit slow. Time to upgrade guys!!!! read more

I went through the drive-thru. Because of long lines, I didn't stay to check my bag, so shame on me. They forgot the large cheese tots and a corn dog. There is not much that's more frustrating than driving home to discover that you are missing 1/2 of not 1 but 2 meals, and have to go back in order to feed the family, and to eat a less than warm meal yourself. I have never had tater tots that were hot. Their menu on the board in the Drive-Thru Lane shows two different sizes of French toast sticks. I was told when I got to the window they only have one size. I have asked for a receipt at the drive-thru window at least six times, and every time they're response is that the printer is not working. How could that possibly be? read more

The manager there is an ass he screamed at me because i didn't ask for ranch on my ticket and when i asked for some he screamed at me "next time put it on your ticket!" He was also screaming at the workers inside and another customer.. i replied with wow I just need some ranch man and he kept screaming and walking towards me very aggressively I told him to back off and get away from me. Just came through the drive thru and had 3 separate orders all together it came to about $45 and the staff was very nice and very patient. They got all of our food out in less than 5 minutes, drive thru attendant was very sweet. All of our food was correct, which should be standard but we all know it's not. I come here every day after attending College at Collin College. The food is always great! It's always fresh and made just as I order it, and the wait is never super long, given I always mobile order. The service is not always the best, which never helps with my horrible social anxiety but today I met Briana. She is the best fast good worker i've ever encountered, and working in fast food, I know how challenging it can be to keep composure with a complicated customer. She has a very contagious smile, and went above and beyond for me, and had a very positive attitude both times I went today. She was so welcoming and everything I asked for was not just done, but it was done above and beyond, with a smile. Terrible!!! This is the SLOWEST Sonic I have ever been to. We have had slow service in the past, but today was the worst. Took 40 minutes to get our food. When we finally pushed the button to get an update on how much longer it would be...magically our food was ready. The food was lukewarm at best (even thought the carhop said it JUST got finished & would burn us if we were not careful) I ordered extra mayo on my burger and got only the tiniest bit. Had to go through the drive thru to get mayo packets, as we only waited in the line for 10 minutes vs 40.. Initially the carhop had an attitude when she answered the button & delivered the food and said 'we cook everything fresh' but she was very apologetic when giving me the mayo packets. Lots of menu boards do not work so you are constantly having to back back out and find another one and this is at most locations . In the am when your busy trying to get to work they staff one person and many times even to get a drink it can take 15 minutes. I found this to be true of the other locations near here . There fountain machines go down regularly here in farmersville. All in all sonic just seems to be a dying company that puts little to no money into upkeep and with a Skeleton staff ensuring poor service it's just a matter of time before they are no longer around . Didnt expect much. Didnt get much. I just came here before the Nascar race for a strawberry slush. Its a good thing I had a small order. The total was $2.48. I gave the kid at the window a $10. He gave me back $7 even. He didnt have to do anything but pour it in a cup and make change. I was in the drive through window, as I know being in a stall requires tipping the server(they make a despicably low wage). Unfortunately, this kid chose to self tip (and for 52 cents??) When I asked him about it, he gave me back 60 cents and slammed the window shut. Like I said, I don't expect much from Sonic, but come on! Typical Sonic drive in, with "getting better service" after putting in an official complaint, I still visit here randomly but all the construction on 380 and the tore up order signs infuriates me. I was told they plan to replace the ordering signs but when there are only a hand full that work and employees are parked in those spots it's annoying, I'd rather drive down the street to Dairy Queen and wait 20mins for a burger ... not to mention that every time I order green tea I'm told they have to make it bc they don't make it first thing in the AM .. this is typically about 8am when I drive thru the area for work and Sonic opens at 6am .. so i'm not sure why it takes 2hrs to make green tea. hit or miss if you are going to get fresh sides or even all the way cooked onion rings or over/under cooked tots .. pretty annoying read more

With horrific service accompanied with food that is horrid, in comparison to Sonic's nearby. Allow me to explain my experience. I order the Sonic Boombox and was shocked by the putrid filth that was delivered to me. The hot dog bun extremely moist and soggy, I had ordered a Chili Cheese dog. Yet it lacked any cheese at all, it was smothered in bacon that didn't even seem fresh. As I took a bite I immediately spit it out; the wiener was undercooked and was freezing cold, along with the chili. But what was most distasteful was the plethora of black hairs that were seen along the hot dog. I found myself wasting 5 minutes plucking hairs from it before taking a bite. Now for the burger, when I imagine a burger, I envision an American delicacy; which was the opposite of which I received. It was soggy and over all utter trash. All of the veggies had fallen off the burger before I even unwrapped it. One of the most disgusting burgers I have ever tasted. Now for the fries, when I bite into a French fry, I crave a crisp crunchiness. However, I was met with a cold, chunky, consistency. I began to gag as the fry met by pallet, triggering me to instantly spit it out. To close this review, I'd like to talk about the worst part; Employees. I had decided to take my sister with me, and I was utterly shocked at what the Car Hop had to say about her: "That sure is a lot of makeup on your face, someone looks like a cake." Worst Sonic I've ever had. First of all the fries were so over done it was like chewing on rocks. The Tator tots were cold and tasted like the grease was 4 weeks old.
