As a vegetarian, it's not always easy to find vegetarian options so when my aunt (who lives in the area) wanted to come here for dinner, I needed to verify that they had at least one vegetarian friendly option available for me. To my delight, I found out that you can substitute the meat in any burger for a black bean patty! They have at least 8 or more burger options on their menu, so this meant I had plenty of options to choose from. They also have a Caesar salad and quesadilla (listed in the appetizer section) that are available without meat. If you like flavorless food, this might be the restaurant for you! I got the jalapeño burger and was disappointed by it. There didn't seem to be any sauce on the burger and no seasoning on the meat. The bun was also disappointing. It was a sad, soggy-feeling bun. We also tried the cheese fries, which are one of their popular items. Nothing too exciting about it. I wish the fries were crispy. This was my second time dining here in a month. The first visit I had the fried pickles which were delicious. I also had the onion rings which were good and the Dr. Pepper wings which were very disappointing (minus a star). I also had the Deep Eddy Limeade which was great. Tonight I had the Hickory BBQ Cheeseburger with pepper jack. It was a good burger. I also had the hand cut fries which were disappointing as they didn't seem fresh. Walked into the restaurant and nobody was on the floor. Waited to ask if we could sit on the patio with our dogs, we were told yes and someone would be out there to get our drink order. Fifteen minutes passed and still no one came outside. I walked back inside to the bar, told the bartender we were out there and we'd like a couple of waters. She said she'd send someone out. I like this place! I started going after it first opened and met the most incredible people there. The food is consistently good and fresh. The drinks are great and the bar staff have always been responsive and creative- if you ask them to be! Many of the people who worked there have gone on to great things. I received my 3 Slider Basket with Onion Fries and they didn't have Tabasco or any hot sauce to doctor the runny Ranch for the onion fries, I had to settle for Buffalo Sauce. All the poppy seed Buns were dry and the burgers inside we're way overcooked, looking more like retired Hockey Pucks! Best part of the meal was the sweet tea and lemon! By the time I finished this review, they were down to 4 customers in the whole restaurant! A big smile came across my face when I saw that a Snuffer's was just ahead. I hadn't been to Snuffer's in several decades when I used to frequent the original location on Lower Greenville Avenue in Dallas, Texas. We arrived after the lunch rush so we almost had the whole place to ourselves. My wife ordered the regular hamburger and fries and I ordered my favorite burger, a bleu cheese bacon burger plus an order of fries. After a short wait, our awesome server brought out burgers and fries to our table. After one bite my wife smiled REAL big so I knew I had made a good choice by stopping at Snuffers. My bleu cheese bacon burger was incredible as well. The home-cut French fries were cooked to perfection and were not greasy at all. Overall we had a great experience at Snuffer's, felt recharged and ready to head on to Hot Springs. We made this trip quite a bit and now know we have an awesome burger joint to stop at when we have a craving. read more

We started out with the ultimate appetizer - the cheese fries!!! A scrumptious pile of fries covered in melted cheddar and homemade ranch dressing. The ranch dressing might be the best on the planet by the way. Today I had the marinated grilled chicken and steamed veggies. Wow it was dynamite!! It's been a while since I've patronized a Snuffers restaurant. Used to enjoy beer and cheese fries with friends. Visited this one with my granddaughter and a friend. Neither one had ever been to Snuffers so I took them for the experience. My granddaughter had the hamburger with the Dr Pepper barbecue sauce after it was highly recommended by the very friendly waitress. My friend had breaded steak strips with onion rings and I had a hot dog with fries. We shared an order of cheddar fries. The food is still very good. The onion rings were hand-battered. The Dr Pepper barbecue sauce was delicious. My hot dog was something to write home about. Not a typical hot dog. It was great. Our waitress was ver friendly and very helpful with menu items. My granddaughter kept checking out the drink menu and saw some she wanted to try. We plan on making another trip just for drinks. read more

I love Snuffer's. The manager is awesome. The bartender today was VERY rude! I went to the bar to get my "Birthday Shake". I asked if I could get that to go. She never said a word. Just walked away. The manager came over, told me "happy birthday" and what flavor would I like. 5 minutes later she brings the shake and sets it down in front of me.
