Alright so boom--I pull up to Sonic, everything chill. Service was solid, my iced coffee hit the spot, vibes were nice. I'm thinkin', "okay, maybe this finna be a good day." Then came the parking lot madness. As I'm backing out--slow and careful like a responsible adult--some car comes SPEEDING through like they're late for the end of the world. Damn near clipped me. I flinched, my iced coffee slipped from my hand, and splash--direct hit into the cupholder. Now it's just vibes and vanilla roast marinating in my center console. Car still smells like regret. Honestly, Sonic food and drinks were good. But the lot? Hectic. Stressful. A trap. Y'all gotta figure that out. I came for a chill moment, not a jump scare. read more

I'm from the generation where combo meals were first introduced. McDonalds had the first combo meal and I remember it being 3.99 for a sandwich, fries and drink. So I guess when I consistently see combo meals that are between 8 to 10 dollars for a simple sandwich, fries and drink...I get a little miffed. However, this is my first time at this location, so I will grin and bear it..plus I am hungry. I ordered the dunken garlic parmesean chicken combo, which totalled $9.36. My fries were lukewarm, the sandwich was ok, but not worth the price tag and I don't know what is wrong with their soda machine, but my sprite was way too sweet with not enough carbonation in it. I must say after going to many sonic drive ins all over the state of kansas, that this issue of mediocre food is a sonic thumbprint. I have yet to be wowed by sonic and more than likely will never be. One positive thing about this particular location, the servers are really nice and quick to serve and even offer extra condiments if you want it. The 1 star is for sonic food in general the other 2 are for the nice staff at this location. read more

Service is good here and the food is good. Don't waste your time on the app. It's completely useless. 4 out of the last 5 times the app has locked up. The last time was today and after 10 minutes of fighting it, we just went to McDonalds. read more
