Super cute. There are four tables. I just went there for the cookies and the photo op. The cookies were recommended to me. At first I was like Hmmm. These are rock hard...BUT!! I think it's because they are made with real butter. Once you get past the crunchiness, they melt in your mouth. The lady was very sweet and asked me to sign her guest book. I just wish that car that's in everyone's photos wasn't always parked in the front! Ruins the photos!

That's the place I was looking for on my Route66 trip. Feels like dining at home and being in an old American movie at the same time. Burgers and fries are amazing. If I ever happen to be in that area I will ride miles and miles to get those awesome burgers

Quintessential Route 66 stop! Treva and Charles are the delightful mom & son who welcomed us into their adorable establishment. Their spirit IS the spirit of Route 66. Stop in for the trademarked cookies. Long live the Mother Road!

I am traveling Route 66 on vacation, and this place was mentioned as a possible lunch spot, but definitely a photo op.

Good stop along Historic Route 66. To be fair, the name grabbed my attention. Located in a newer…read morearea of town, near Harbour freight, there is plenty of parking around the building. Seat yourself, a waitress quickly stopped by with menus and took a drink order. The menu is pretty big and includes breakfast and a kids menu. I ordered hot tea and am so happy to have received a cup of tea with a pot of tea back-up! Yes, all the tea please. The lemons on the side added to my tea joy. It's the small things. My SO ordered himself an open faced roastbeef sandwich. This is shredded roast on top of a sweet roll smothered in gravy with a side of mashed potato. He certainly ate it like it was tasty. (I did confirm - it is tasty.) I went with an a la carte breakfast of two eggs and one pancake. The pancake had a slightly sweet taste and is fluffy. The eggs were cooked perfectly 'over easy'. You can tell they are cooked as eggs should be over a low heat - no scorch marks on the outer edge. Bathrooms are in the back left corner and are cleanest where it matters most. Diaper station in the ladies room. During our visit many of the guests knew each other and chatted amongst themselves. All the staff we came in contact with were friendly. They kept a close eye on all the guests making sure everyone had everything they needed. All together a good stop.

I am sure we were fortunate with the timing, but there were empty tables, not a lot, but a few as we were seated. They have a sign that says reservations will not be seated before their scheduled time. This was accurate as our 7 pm started seating at 7 exactly. One call out is that even if you don't get seated before your designated time, if you want a choice of open table when seating begins, they give you status on selecting your table on when you arrived and checked in for your reservation. Odd, but not a issue. The menu is straight forward and they have a large board on the wall listing different types of starches and veggies. Potatoes are listed as a starch, don't they qualify for both? There was an unlisted special the evening we were there of 16oz ribeye. There are a few other options on the menu that will suffice for most diners. Food was very flavorful with the ribeye being perfectly seared and prepared as requested. Their double baked potatoes were also solid. Overall, not fancy, but for the area it is in, upscale. I would choose it again over the fancy places in Bentonville, Rogers, and Fayetteville.
