We always order from this location and we have never had bad service but this delivery was just all wrong. I ordered a children's burger meal through Drive-Thru about a month ago. I had a coupon that offered the meal for under $6.00. I told the window attendant at the start of my order that I had the coupon. He even asked me to repeat it twice. When I reached the window to pay and get my order, the price was almost $10.00. I asked why. I was told that they were not familiar with the coupon and that I could use it. The irony in his statement is that the coupon I used was one of a larger card expiring later in the year. Our office also received these coupons from a restaurant owner in a batch of coupons given to our attendees at our Annual RE/MAX Eggstravaganza this year. I was flabbergasted. We had over 400 people present for the event. They received the coupon when they arrived at the signing table. What if this is how they are treated when they present the coupon to your various restaurants? Nevertheless, I told the young man to cancel the sale. I left, went next door to What-A-Burger, and bought the children's meal with ease and excellent customer service. Plus it costs less than yours. I have yet to return to that location and probably will not. I hope the hundreds of coupon recipients we gave those out to are treated better. I recently went to sonic for a little nostalgia and a large milkshake. Honestly, I can't remember the last time I went to a sonic but I was excited when my husband mentioned the idea. At sonic, you park your car, order and pay from your personal window screen. The screen lets you know the status of your food and a sonic employee delivers to your car. Easy social distancing and low touch points. Employees wore masks. Sonic also has a drive up window for take out. There are sooo many wonderful shake options. I went with the sonic blast with Oreo cookie pieces and my husband went with a caramel shake. Both treats were satisfying and the drive-in dining was fun. read more

I am addicted to Sonic and now I have my family addicted. We live in Conroe so we usually go to the one by our neighborhood. They know us by name there. When we do frequent a different Sonic I like seeing the "Bartlet Sonic Group" signs because ours is one too. So today I got our usual iced coffees and pretzels and a water and we had some issues. The coffee was way too thick. I had to mix mine with the water to make it taste normal. The water alone was disgusting. Please get a water filter or clean the one you have. People who drink water know when you give us plain nasty ass tap water and it's gross. Stop doing that. And normally our pretzels are soft and stay soft all day. My poor pretzels looks like a corpse. Horrible experience!! I placed my order via drive-thru. I should've known there was going to be some drama when I placed the order and the drive-thru clerk said nothing after I gave order. Literally crickets were chirping. So I asked would she like me to pull forward and she instructed me to do so. I ordered a #1 no mayonnaise (due to allergy), add mustard, and jalapeños. Got the order, pulled around back to check it and they put mustard on the top bun, but the bottom bun was loaded with Mayo. The tator tots were cold and had a stale taste. Orders get messes up all the time but there's no excuse for laziness. To try to trick customers is unacceptable! When someone requests an item be removed from their meal, you should do it. I pulled right back to the window and told what happened. No apologies, no offers to redo order, they just looked at me. After a few moments of them starting at me like I was Boo Boo the fool, I requested a refund. Manager on duty issued a refund no apologies or words regarding how the order was prepared. Today I pulled up with a flat tire, was outside my car examining it and a woman on skates rolled up and first expressed her sympathy, then asked if she could help, then insisted on getting me a drink. I told her I would order in just a minute but thank you. She insisted and said it's the least they could do to try and make my day better. Thankfully I've eaten at numerous other locations so I know better. 12/18 was my first (and likely last) visit to this location and I ordered a bacon Croissonic combo breakfast. Food quality: The tots looked different than at other Sonics and had a funny almost chemical taste - I ended up throwing most of them out. (My roommate even commented on how "weird" the tots looked and stated that he never goes to this location because of long wait times and cold food.) The croissant was very salty and inadequately heated so the cheese wasn't even melted. Service: Service was very slow despite only 2-3 cars apiece in stalls and at the drive-up window. My server was very pleasant but seemed poorly-trained: she didn't ask if I wanted cream, sugar or ketchup and when I asked for cream she looked surprised and said, "I'm not sure, let me check." I assumed ketchup was in the bag but I arrived home to find it wasn't. Emblematic of this locations' disorganization is the transposed address on the register receipt. Sonic corporate either needs to have a come-to-Jesus discussion with the franchisee or revoke the license because this location gives the chain a bad name. read more

Come to sonic very often and haven't really had many problems. Until lately. I go and ask politely for an Arnold Palmer with sweet tea which instead of asking proceeds to make it an unsweet tea with coke. I know many kids don't know who Arnold Palmer is (I'm 21 but still) they should ask before making. Even with correcting her many times. It still took about five minutes before my order was correct. I'm pretty patient so not a huge deal but it still would have been nice for her to actually come deliver my stuff so I could explain Everything lol. I've been through the drive thru a few times at this location. The people taking your order have a lot of patience and are friendly. The wait for your order usually has run about 5 minutes long which is ok. The bar hop ladies are friendly also, I give them props to working in this humid climate in those uniforms. My only criticism is the Coke Zero I've ordered with vanilla and I've been disappointed the carbonation is a little off and no signs of any vanilla. I've went here more than a few times and honestly I wouldn't even give this sonic 1 star. I used to love sonic until I moved over here. The food is absolutely horrible. Even if you tell them please make it fresh I still get old Tots and a cold burger. Only one time during lunch did I get something fresh. So every other time it has been like honestly throwing 10 dollars straight in there garbage can. Out of the 7 times I've went there I have always just said maybe next time.
