This sonic needs a complete wipe of their afternoon shift. i placed a order through the app for pick up i arrived and checked in and waited for over 30 minutes for just some slushies. during those 30 minutes i called about 5 times no answer. during those 30 minutes of waiting i saw one of the employees walk out and get in the car of another employee and about 10 mins later they came back with pizza while im there still waiting on my slushies finally i decided to go through the drive through to ask about my order which they had just left there sitting. i received melted and waterdownes slushies. oh and the employee at the window said not a single word. whoever hired these bozos need to be fired as well. read more

Don't stop here!! Well can't say much for them. The order thing was not working, so had to go to front and speaker thing was not working there either, so had to order with a person. When we finally got to order, only got a single cheeseburger meal with onion rings and large sprite. First time they came out with just the cheeseburger and drink. Been 27 minutes and still waiting. Feel like I should get a refund it took so long. On top of it there is a guy walking around asking for money. Husband got upset and is going to ask for refund. This is rediculous for fast food!! They refused to give him money back said they we're bringing it right out. Second time I went up and told them it had been 27 minutes and I just wanted my $20 back. I placed my order via the mobile app (because that's what they encourage at this location-3559, E Beltway and Woodforest) at 4:56 pm, to be picked up at 5:10 pm. When I arrived and checked in on the app, I waited for 10 minutes. I had to push the call button to tell someone I had arrived. The order came out but was missing the Medium cranberry limeade I ordered. The delivery girls (there were 2, I assume one was in training) went back inside and came back out with a drink that was not the cranberry limeade I ordered...looked like a slush. I pushed the call button again, Maria could barely hear me (because the speaker system at all Sonic locations is always subpar) and had to come out to the stall. I told her they gave me the wrong drink and she came back with a Large cranberry limeade. When I opened the lid there was a piece of styrofoam in the drink, not from my cup, as the cup I had wasn't damaged. The corndogs were tough and overcooked. The onion rings, which have changed from their original recipe and preparation, were also overcooked. This location CONSISTENTLY has issues with poor customer service, poor food quality, slow speed of service, poor equipment for placing orders, and poor order accuracy. Sonic is one of my favorite restaurants but I will NEVER return to this location again. read more

By far the worse Sonic I have been to! First we pulled in....press the button to order and it said on the screen someone will be right with you... waited for 20 minutes so we backed up and went in the drive thru because the line was moving faster there...said hello thought maybe the speaker to order was broken but get to the speaker and no one answers there so we drove up... sat there for 35 minutes!!! We left! Whoever is working inside needs to quit bc this obviously isn't the job for you! It should not take that long to make a burger and fries and cheese sticks and a drink! This place is terrible. They take too long to bring out the food they don't pay attention to your order. They messed up the food. Multiple times. that shakes an ice cream's are always melted. It's just they don't care and my son he used to work there and he had to quit because they kept on taking his hours, they always kept on letting them go home early, they never let him work his four hours they would only make them come for like three hours in and forcing him to leave and he never wanted to take breaks and they would always force him to take breaks so please if you think don't don't let your son work here all they're gonna do is just use them and try their best to take his hours to pay him as least as possible. I'd give this a negative rating if I could. I ordered a Oreo espresso shake the last time I came and got a bunch of blended ice with two Oreos. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back today to get another but this time i order and pay for extra Oreos. Its not that hard right? starting a roadtrip and remembered this conveniently placed Sonic. although the back of my mind was trying to tell me, "Noooo - Remember this place! There is a reason you never stop at it" I did it anyway. They managed to screw up a drink order. They always do. Always something wrong with my order or forgotten. The building may be new, but it's still the same old staff apparently. Avoid this place. Just left this Sonic location and they should be sanctioned for health and safety. My daughters and I went through the drive thru. My order was incorrect. No problem. Life requires grace and I know I do as well. As we are waiting for my drink to be remade, we discover that my younger daughter's is also wrong. Also, no problem--I'm not late to be anywhere. So as I'm waiting at the window for her to return with my corrected drink and to tell her about my daughter's drink, I literally, and to my disgust, see an employee stick his finger up his nose, like the entire finger..no glove.. then proceeded to make a burger. Okay, so whatever, we didn't order food, but still gross. So then I let her know that my daughter's drink needs to be corrected and she literally gets a cup that is sitting on the counter, looks in it, throws whatever she found was in it out , and proceeds to use the cup to make my child's drink! How unsanitary is that ! I let her know that I saw what she did and she replied to me " well it was just some strawberries that was sitting in it." Huh!!?? Are you serious with me?? She asked me if I wanted her to remake it and I looked at her and said "yes, please, if you didn't know, that's pretty gross ." I called the manager and her reply was I will talk to them about it. She didn't even ask the specifics of who the "them " is, which means that she could care less and unsanitary ways of working and serving food to customers is ritualized and common. If I could give this place zero stars i would. Tonight i went here and the location says open until 2 not closing at one. The fact that i could not get my food is not what bothers me but what bothers me is how ugly and rude the girl's attitude working here was. As i pull up to order i wait for an extended period of time until the women voices "I'm sorry we're closed" in the ugliest , most dismissive way possible and ignores my question as I attempt to ask why there was someone else receiving food that very moment. I pull up to the window and the women informs me in the rudest way possible after attempting to ignore me that they changed their hours. The wife and I ordered some burgers to go and when the order came my wife usually checks the bag to make sure we got what we paid for. She casually looked in the bag and said it was all there. However when we got to the lunchroom we were short a burger. I did not go back and I did not call (like that would do any good) so bottom line they have no quality checks before the order goes out. This location charged me for the customer in front of me's order. They told me the correct amount when I handed over my card, then swiped and gave me the receipt for the amount of the other customer. I got the correct items in my bag, but I realized this when I got home. Called the manager and said I cannot come now and explained the situation to 2 different people. I came thr next day with all receipts and a screenshot of my credit card purchase online and the manager didn't even care to hear my story and just handed me the difference. He still didn't even give me the correct amount..he was off 75 cents, but I wasn't about to deal with him again..so I gave him my receipts to overlook and I highly doubt he looked over it. They need to figure out the root issue. I highly doubt the person in front of me was even charged for their purchase. read more

I went to this sonic for lunch and although the food was good and the carhop was quick the credit card machine at order station was broke. You can't trust people these days and I don't like not being able to see my card (nothing against carhop this is in general). Besides that it was fine until I got to drink. After last night's visit through the drive thru, 05/01/201, I will not ever return to this Sonic and HIGHLY recommend others to do the same. First: the intercom was out making a long wait. 45 minutes to be exact. Second: The manager on duty was blaming the long wait on one of the wait staff that worked the window and fired the poor guy in front of me (VERY UNPROFESSIONAL). Third: The food obviously was cold and OLD. I couldn't even bite into the onion rings because they were so hard. Recommendation: I highly suggest that they get rid of the manager on call for last night. She was boldly rude to the staff and customers. This is not the way to run a business but is the way to ruin a business. I love SONIC, however I will drive out of my way to the one on Uvalde or Wilson Road going forward as their service is a better quality and the food is fresh. Thank you very much!
