Hit or Miss Location, usually Miss. Extremely poor management, always under staffed. 1 out of 3 cars just leave the drive through. Once I went and there was only 1 person working there, which is impossible for them to expedite any orders. If you can patiently wait 15 to 25 minutes wait time the food will be fresh, Parking Lot has more pot holes then Missouri roads Independence Sonic can do better and I recommend driving to another place. read more

Confused because the supersonic breakfast burrito doesn't have that option I ask for "what the supersonic breakfast burrito normally comes with". Gets order read back, Sausage egg and cheese burrito, medium cheese tot and a large cherry limeade. Stunned by the wrong order after already saying not once but twice what I had wanted. Our poor little Sonic. This spot is the slowest of all Sonics. They also seem to get confused easy. The workers are really nice and I can tell they really are trying, but bless their heart. It seems this place hires a lot of people who have struggled in life and this job is maxing out their skills. The food is still Sonic food. Same stuff you find everywhere, but I'm saddened to see the menu getting smaller every time I go. Zero customers waiting yet my food took a very long time. Over charged and tried to tell them but all they offered were some tokens. The fries here are never full to the top. Another thing I was over charged for. The employees act like they have no idea what's going on. The guy kept getting my total wrong, the lady got rude when I told her I was over charged, and then he couldn't read me back my order when at my car. I don't like to eat in my car, so I would not typically choose to go to a Sonic. With the Covid19 pandemic, however, this is as close to eating out as we can find. First time there, I had some sort of burger with green chili's and it was fantastic. I've ordered same thing twice since then and have been disappointed. Not horrible, just not great with an exclamation point! Wife-unit and I have learned to take aprons with us, the food seems to be very messy and I always end up wearing some of it home. I have been getting the double burger meal with onion rings. Sometimes they do not have the onion rings, but they are pretty good when in stock. They always seem to forget something, last time it was the napkins, usually it is the ketchup packets. First couple of times they didn't bring lots of ketchup packets and we had to summon them for more. So one time they brought our meal and the bag was literally half full of ketchup packets. We used all in subsequent fast food trips, so none were wasted. read more

If I had the ability to give them a zero I would . It began with the person taking the order being very rude. Gave me the impression I was bothering him . Then ultimately got the order wrong . The person who handed me my food didn't wait till I had to grip on it and it ended up on the ground at least part of it . Food was remade handed to me but my mozzarella sticks were missing which was the only reason and I emphasize only reason I went there . Try to explain that the two for seven was supposed to be a burger and mozzarella sticks the person kept saying I didn't take your order . Tried to explain the order was incorrect we were overcharged and I still didn't get mozzarella sticks . She suggested I order them and pay an additional $5 . When I said that wasn't happening she told me to take my attitude somewhere else . I was never rude all I tried to do was explain but her come back each time was I didn't take your order . Corporate was contacted and all they could suggest was we'll give you a coupon for a fremontzarella sticks with your order of more food . This sonic sucks. The food is never fresh and the Dr Pepper is always terrible. Every single time I come to this Sonic. We waited 10 minutes for our food ( 1 frie, 1 mozz stick, and 3 fried Oreos) and none of it was fresh. It's prime dinner time too. So i don't understand why. Sonic is good, but this one has always suffered from poor management and lackluster employees. After getting four separate orders incorrect, we've given up and gone elsewhere. If they were screwing up special orders, sure, I can understand a mistake every once in a while, but these were simply stupid mistakes - Dr. Pepper in a cup that was supposed to be Diet Coke, missing items, etc. It all comes from management, and the manager of this Sonic leaves much to be desired. This Sonic is alright. It's most definitely better than the one near me! My food was served hot and fresh with the correct drink. My only complaint about this and every Sonic is the wait. Sometimes the wait is so long people just pull out of the drive thru. But I really believe that great service should be recognized, and the vast majority of the people working here are just rock stars. They are so professional and courteous that I sometimes forget that I'm eating fast food in my car. In the interest of full disclosure, I once had a drink spilled on me here, and the girl's first reaction was to swear, but otherwise I've never left Sonic anything other than pleased. If I could have given a lower review I would have! They messed up our order causing me to miss dinner with my kids and have to drive all the way back wasting my gas and my time to fix their mistake! Which was rediculous by the way because instead of making what we ordered they threw two things in a box and called it a day! It was missing the other 3 key ingredients that make it what it is! While I was there I ordered a little $4 hamburger. I had already told the gentleman at the box that they needed to do something to fix this because 1) I missed dinner with my kids over this 2) I wasted my gas and time coming all the way back just to once again have to wait for 20 minutes at the window (once we got that far) for them to fix the mistake. 3)They didn't even make a new one! After 40 minutes later! They just slapped on all the missing ingredients on the cold hard food I handed back to them and handed it back to me! 4) and all the while this stupidity is still happening my food at home is getting cold so a cold dinner is what I have to look forward to! The guy at the window then tells me regardless of my ordeal because of them, best case scenario is they will take $2 off of my hamburger! What! You should have comped it! Actually you should have comped and fixed the original mess up which was way more expensive than that little burger! It was a slap in the face!
