They use all ingredients like they're supposed to, squeezing lemons and limes, layering flavors etc. it's just done right. We ordered delivery via Uber Eats on a Sunday evening. My mini me and I got two burger combos with drinks and a sundae. The food tasted as good as it could, no uniquely different flavor to compare to other places but wasn't bad either. The only issue was how long the wait was for a FAST food place. It wasn't fast at all, as our delivery person didn't receive the completed order until the allotted delivery time it should've reached us, hence delaying our delivery altogether. We knew it was the slow service of this joint, rather than our delivery driver because we were in communications throughout while he was waiting for the order to be ready. Not sure if their service could be better if ordering in person, but not sure if we'll want to give it another shot since there are so many other burger options nearby. Today, I was treated horrible at sonic. I ordered my food and when she came out, I gave her my phone to make my payment. She turned around and just walked back inside. I asked her why didn't she let me know she was going back in for the card reader and I laughed and said I was worried she wasn't coming back out. She told me I should have to her I needed the card reader before and I again laughed and said I didn't know because I don't come to this one often. I've been to this sonic three times now. I normally just get Mozzarella sticks always a large. Today I ordered a Hot Dog it was drenched in ketchup and relish wasn't appealing at all. The person who help me was really sweet he was amazing but the manager I'm not sure how i feel about them. I ordered a late Mozzarella stick and they gave me a medium but that still comes with 8 mozzarella sticks they gave me one sauce and i asked if i can have another because you can't eat 8 sticks with one sauce and they charged 20 cents. Horrible, horrible horrible service. I have been to this location 2 different times in the last 60 days. 1st time they messed up our order and when I got home and realized the mistake I called. The person on the phone said the only way they could give me any kind of credit was to drive back up there. I was so pissed .....I flew back up there and the manager said he would correct the problem. They literally made the order wrong again. The 2nd time I did the drive thru route and was with my son. Ordered two drinks. The second drink came 5 min later. Only got one straw. Ordered no tomatoes on the burger, came with a tomato. Had the order been received we would've made the happy hour. I had a friend purchase the crispy chicken combo at the location in Killeen Texas on John David Dr. NuMber one you look on their website call this number you ask to speak to the manager. Says it on the receipt to. I want the money back. The chicken sandwich was raw! Like barely cooked we want to give you salmonella or food poisoning raw! Don't waste your time with this location. By far the worst Sonic I have ever experienced. My first attempt to eat here was met with sitting at the Drive thru order screen and never being greeted. I drove to the window and could see the employees standing around, but was never greeted. I left. My next attempt to eat here resulted in setting in the drive thru for 15 minutes after placing my order only to be given old cold food that was visibly unsuitable to be served. I am glad I checked the order before driving home. My last experience here was when my wife brought me some take out home and the chili dog was burnt black and shrivled. I'm done. It's clean and new and nice but a restaurant is only as good as the people who work there and they always manage to get my order wrong..yes they fix it but when I say no whip cream and you add the whip cream and I watch you just slide it off the top and re mix the shake as a fix its bad...had I been allergic to whip cream you could've killed me and when I order a cherry limeade and only get a limeade don't just add the cherry syrup on top because it still tastes like all lime! I was being more than patient and understanding but after I saw his attitude and the fact that he was unapologetic I was over it! I get that places get busy but cmon, that's unacceptable. My family and I visited Sonic on June 10, 2018. I placed two orders. During the first one, the person on the other end of the speaker was rude and seemed in a hurry. When we received our food, it wasn't bad but my large drink was a cup full of ice with no drink in it at all. During the second order I tried to order two items and the same person was on the intercom and during his 'anything else' part of the conversation, cut me off and gave me the total while I was still trying to order the second item. I phoned to complain to the manager, who claimed they were short staffed. Then, tonight, I waited over 20 minutes for 5 shakes - given the excuse that, after 8:00, things get really busy (there were only seven cars in the whole lot). If you've got time to waste, go there.
