Food was spaceballs as was the service. We each had the spicy Tamagotchi burger, but I added bacon, queso, ranch, & spicy ranch to mine as one does. We demolished the carne asada fries which needed nothing but filthy fingers & forks. Their fountain of youth water caused me to go brunette/blackhead again. The unsweetened tea was tasty & toothsome. The Flux Capacitor with the green chili & guacamole was Ratatouille's kiss. We also had the pleasure of meeting & being served by "Creed Bratton's" Indica. The ambiance was akin to visiting my midnight library in Baby Yoda (actual Yoda) theme park of my lucid dreams. Would I return? Yes, but next time I'll make an appointment next door to get a mini 8oz Great Value water bottle tattooed on my back to celebrate my 7th & 2nd generation Mexican American heritage. The parking isn't the best, but it has the best burgers around the area of Cove, Killeen, Temple, and Heights, in my opinion. I am still a fan of In-N-Out, but for more bang for your buck, I would have to say it's here. I would definitely come back again, and my favorite is the Thermo Detonator burger, if I remembered correctly. Service was fine. At the end of the day, it's worth the money. To be honest, it looks sketchy from the outside. I was questioning my safety before going inside, but it actually was okay. When you walk inside you are greeted by an alien with a gun that makes sounds, then they were playing the Star Wars movie. They have nerdy souvenirs of all kinds to buy and also free arcade games to play. I love the decor and the food was really good! I was surprised at the size of the menu! I tried the quesadilla burger which was amazing! My friend had the regular cheeseburger and she said it was delicious. What an experience!!! Yes. That's right. It is not just a place to get a good burger and AWESOME fried onion rings, it is way more. We were greeted by James and asked to seat anywhere we wanted. We chose a booth adjacent to what looked like a dance floor. Then James reappeared to take our orders. We both got the Galaxy burger with cheese and all the trimmings. Loved the Bermuda onions, but the cheese had a texture like velveeta/cottage cheese-ugh! The burger had a tasty roll-bun and came w/o any condiments so we added our own mayo, ketchup and mustard from the containers on the table. The onion rings were the best I've ever had. Nice crisp crust with tender juicy onion inside. James was a delight and never let us wait long for anything, like my tea refills and Pat's water refill. Now for the atmosphere, Star Wars to the max. When I was in the army and new to the area, my chief brought me to this hole in the wall restaurant. I absolutely loved the atmosphere! Star Wars themed, video games and creative diner food! The food tastes great and you get a bang for your buck for it because it isn't expensive at all and they serve you such big portions. I am a big fan of the "Bacon Awakens" which is a breakfast platter with french toast. I also enjoyed the "Galactic Madness" which is a grilled cheese burger and it's huge! Beware you'll be taking a nap after eating this burger haha. But I do enjoy this place and every time I've eaten here the service has always been great. The store/restaurant is extremely cool and is filled with tons of Star Wars memorabilia as well as a ton of arcade machines that you can play for free while you wait for your food. In a place as crazy as this, I decided to order the craziest burger I could find which was The Galactic Madness. It's two patties, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion and mayo. But what takes it to the next level is that it is served between two grilled cheese sandwiches instead of buns. As ridiculous as it was to eat, it was still pretty tasty.
