I had placed my order online on their personal website and when I went to pick up the food they were closed. Not an issue. When I went back to speak to a manager and get a refund I was told they don't do refunds in store which doesn't make sense. After th manager gave me the contact information or the boss of this location named Bonnie. It took me 8 phone calls to finally make contact with the boss and she said they can make the food for me to come pick it up. At this point I didn't want the food just my money back. She then proceeded to tell me to send the order number and my name and I would recieve my refund in one day. Flash forward 3 days later. I've been texting and calling even to the point I had mentioned taking the business to small claims court. After I finally got a response and was told to come to the store just for her not to be there and for her to tell her employee to just make the food. When I arrived and was given the information I demanded that they call the boss back and she said she wouldn't give me a refund due to them making the food. My wife and I were at Walmart and when finished getting a few things, decided to get a couple of burgers to take home. It was around 3:30 pm. So went to the menu board and decided what to get while the lady at the register was on the phone. When we were ready, we stood in front of her and she continued on the phone. We waited and waited. After about 5 minutes of standing there I asked her if they were open. She just put her hand up and said "I'll be with you in a minute ". The other employee behind the counter, who didn't acknowledge us either, ask her if that was so and so on the phone. She nodded at him and he asked her to say hi for him. My wife and I were just still standing there in front of her. I asked my wife if she just wanted to leave, and we did. As we left, not one of them even try to get our attention. Ordered a Double Bacon burger combo to go, but unfortunately couldn't eat it right away so it was cold. Of course, this isn't their fault at all. Although, what I did taste was a pretty decent burger. The patty was well seasoned, but the bun was kinda dry and somewhat firm. I think even if it was fresh, the outcome would've still been the same. Fries were still crisp and not soggy. I also liked their strawberry milkshake and didn't notice any artificial flavor to it. I have seen this place several times. I was asked to go and try it. Today I did. You can order anything off the menu and I was there around 8:10 am. So I was their first order of the day. Everything was clean and seemed ready to go. I ordered a kids hamburger kids meal Staff was friendly but didn't know why I had to give them they name of the manager who asked me to go in. Will say this at least they knew who she was.. she also informed me that the kids meal hamburger was about the same size as a regular burger there. Since she had taken the time to ask me why I ordered a kids meal. I explained I can only eat 1 cup. So she explained the size. I appreciate that. Menus selection was good too. There were two workers there and both worked good together. For the food. Burger was great. Loved the bun and like the fact that I could see the extra topping I asked for. But I took a star off for the kids milk- the cut in half straw was not great to me it was still wrapped but wondering what was used to cut it. Also there was no choice in milk( 2% or 1% or even chocolate.) will be back to see when it is a little more busy. But my first impression was very good will be back to see if they can maintain this. They are inside the Walmart so some nights it worked out to go shopping there and bring the family for a meal. The staff was kind and ensured our meals were prepared how we ordered them. I've worked at wayback not too long ago, and the store is completely horrible compared to my other jobs in the fast food industry. They don't have benefits to offer, they don't have manager position or shift leads position but expect you to handle all of it without raising anyone pay or training them for it !? They haven't had ventilation in the past 5-6 months that I worked their. Everything is covered in grease by the end of the night above the grill is grease buildup that drips down into your hair due to the broken or clogged ventilation system on the roofs, there's a broken fryer that's been sitting there collecting grease for at least a year Is what employees that used to work their told me. There isn't discounts for employees nor for the customers even the food cost is so expensive, the food isn't always good depending on the cook and no one has their food license to operate food that's supposed to be fresh and mandatory by tx!!
