Stopped through a town I hadn't even heard of to pull over to try to book a hotel on my phone...happened to be passing Sonic and decided to pull over to get some food while we looked up hotels up north...this proved to be the most costly choice of our road trip! I used to love Sonic slushies when I was younger and thought, "why not?" We went to the drive-thru window, ordered food (pretty normal for a fast food place) , but for some reason, the girl gave us our food before she gave my card back...acting a little off, didn't think much of it at the time, BUT a couple days later my card was turned off for fraudulent activity (after a $520.49 charge to 'The city of La Junta' had been processed with numerous other fraudulent charges flagged) The only place we stopped in that town was Sonic...We were traveling from California to Missouri to see my mom who hadn't been doing well, so this was more than unpleasant to find out. I have since called the complaint line so many times over the last month and have been promised a call back (which has yet to happen!) I can't even look at a Sonic sign now without crying! This has been THE worst drive-thru experience of my life/worst time trying to speak to someone who cares enough to do something to make this remotely "right". I could go on and on about all of the problems this has since caused, but bottom line...VERY displeased to say the least! read more

Came through the drive through, waited for over 20, I repeat TWENTY minutes. A woman, an assistant manager of some sort comes out & recognizes that we're waiting. THEN we wait another 10 to actually order AT THE WINDOW. Still waiting as we speak. Not happy This is 20 minutes after leaving: My order is WRONG. Took my food to the wrong car went back inside (while my food is in wrong car) then brings out my order I look in the bag and I see chicken strips and I told her this is not my order she snatched the bag from me and said I know what happened she then went to the other car and retrieved my food and handed them the sack she handed me she then walks back to me and tries to hand me the food she retrieved from the other car and I said "you just got my food out of that other car" she said yes but they didn't mess with it I promise I said that's not going to work I had already waited 15 minutes by now so she said we can make it again and I said I just wanted my money back she told me I can't give you money because you paid with a card so we will put the money back on your card and she turned around and went back in still haven't got any money back I called 3 times and store manager never called back poor food handling training in the middle of a pandemic you can't served someone food and take it back and serve to another customer will not be back will not recommend read more

Happy hour drinks 1/2 off everyday 2-4 then 1/2 off shakes after 8 pm.

Took over 30 minutes to get one shake. I saw multiple other customers that came after I did get their food and ice cream in a timely manner. I asked if they forgot my order and they said they would deliver it right away. 10 minutes later I tried to call them again and they just ignored me. I only got my shake because I stopped a manager.
