Different sonic locations can be hit or miss, but I like this one! The staff is always pleasant and kind, I've only had a few instances of a long wait when I place a mobile order but it seems I have the knack for going somewhere when it's busy or just getting busy. The parking lot can be accessed from two entrances, one off the main road and the other on the side street. These spaces seem smaller than normal and my moms dodge 1500 barely fits and my Wrangler is a bit of a squeeze as well. I love ordering off the app for half priced drinks as it makes the slushes so much more affordable! My go to is the mango slush with extra mango flavoring! I get the largest size and it's good for all day or freezing some for the next day. The ice cream cone is the real winner tho! It's comparable to a medium at DQ and tastes better with half the wait. read more

For me it's not really the food, I mean it's "fast food" the issue is the owners refuse to hire anyone. There is only 1 employee 90% of the time. I think the only time I've seen two employees is a Friday afternoon. You sit and wait so long because it's one person working the drive thru, the kitchen, and the car bays. Woman in drive thru was cussing a worker out for missing a sandwich. The worker eventually calmed her down and just gave her the sandwich. Because the lady was cussing and causing a scene the worker offered to pay for my food out of embarrassment for the company. I told her it was not her fault the customer was being rude and honking the horn after waiting all of two minutes. Left her a hefty tip and hopfully made her night a bit better read more

Just moved in the area about 6 months and have visited this location 3 times, you're out, never will visit this place again. The food was burnt beyond recognition this time and I didn't have time to go back because I was on my way to a meeting. I thought because it had a line that I stood a chance of getting fresh food, but not the case. Plus my order was completely wrong, but again I was in a hurry and my last option. The staff were nice and friendly, but still that doesn't help for being served inedible food and I served in the Marine Corps before they had decent MRE's. Ah those witty commercials don't do a thing for this place. Living in Boston, we see commercials played for Sonic non-stop yet there isn't a Sonic in a 250 mile radius. No one can understand that. The commercials tempt you with delicious 99 cent shakes and scrumptious cheese burgers...then you try it. What a major disappointment! You pull up to their unique drive-in burger-joint sit-in-your-car-order-n-pay contraption. The person on the other end of the intercom can't understand that you have just ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers, a jr cheeseburger and a jr cheeseburger combo. When you get your food, you are missing an item. Ok, typical you say..sure mistakes happen. Until you bite into that dry biscuit they call a burger, which is topped off by brown, rotting lettuce and a soggy 3 day old tomato. Then you realize it is a blessing in disguise. Thank you for not giving me that extra jr cheeseburger. Sonic by far has been my worst fast food experience. I gave it a second chance this time at Lake City and it reconfirmed my prior experience eating there in Douglas, GA back in December 2007. read more
