Passed by for lunch today and was a bit amazed at what I saw. One of the car hops (she said her name was Bernice I think) was running, not walking fast, but literally running from car to shop and back again, Never seen that before. Love the food and desserts sometimes with people at work also. The popcorn chicken is Tasty and oreo blast is on point too don't forget Tots and fries to this location at sonic is by far The best one here in lawton the only concern i Have with this area is timing it takes like 10 to 20 minutes on food sometimes 15 or 8 Give it or takes and when i try to give them a tip They just took off to rush orders by that's their job Not me sometimes they want more then what you give them. Why are your workers not washing their hands between orders? DID YOU KNOW ITS A PANDEMIC? I'm sitting here looking at one worker in particular Joaquin is th e name on my receipt- he is in and out of the restaurant. Then he goes to the order kiosk then grabs and order then right back out. He's touching his face and I have not seen a pair of gloves or ONE INSTANCE of handwashing. I see a manger taking an order w a pair of gloves on but they're touching all over their face. Sonic Drive-Ins in Lawton don't have the same quality as Sonics in other locations. My wife and I got two foot longs and an order of tater tots. Skimped on the chili on both hotdogs and the tots tasted like the grease was way overdue to be changed. Sonic is our favorite fast food but we're skipping Lawton Sonics because they just don't measure up to other Sonics. read more

I love love love how the happy hour is from 2-5 instead of ending at 4. I've always enjoyed the half off slushies, no complaints here! I've gotten cherry lime, lemonberry, green apple, peach.... I think that might have been all the ones I've tried? They have one called atomic lemon, the worker told me it's sour. Hmm, I may or may not have to try that! I love lemon, but I'm not sure how much sour I can take lol. My son loves the Nerds blue raspberry :) Never had a problem with this location. Even when they were busy, they always seemed to get my stuff to me in a timely manner. And I love the fact that when you sign up with them, you get a free slushy on your b-day! How cool is that?? Literally. This is a nice location(other ones are ok too!) And usually I seem to find myself stopping in when I'm out running errands during happy hour{'happy' coincidence, or precision planning??} can't beat a large slushy for a buck and some change :) read more

Every time I go here, I get exceptional service. From people like Ben or Dallas. The service is fast, friendly and I must admit quick to help. The people here are happy to get a straw for you, or correct an time in error if there are any. I have found this to be one of the better Sonic's I have been in. There are many times I stop when I am in town for a soda or tea, and they are always quick to offer lemons for the tea, or ask if I would like to try some flavoring in my coke. The cleaning could use some work, the drive way and parking spots seem to have many spills, and look bad. Beyond that it is overall clean. Not eat off the floors, or in this case pavement, but clean like I am not going to feel bugs watching me eat. I live on the west end of town, and I have a choice from this one, or the one on cache, I have to be brutally honest, I drive out of my way to this one, because they have what in this area could be considered mad skills in the area of fast food service. read more

Let me set the scene, April 12, Easter. 8:30pm. I order my food and soon learn that I have got a flat tire. It's 40 degrees outside I have my wife and my 3 month old daughter waiting in the car. I start working on it around 9 worried that I won't have it done before the 10 o'clock curfew. I didn't expect any help from them or anything, but I sure didn't expect them to laugh at me and take pictures. The two guys who were laughing out front then went and told the rest of the kitchen about the loser changing a tire and they all came and looked out the window. Ohh This location is too much. I've given up completely when it comes to food here. Can someone explain to me how you can order a fish sandwich and then when they give you your food it's a country fried steak sandwich? I no longer order food from here as it's always a gamble. It can be very good or it can be a train wreck. Now I just go for the drinks. However, I think Sonic is telling me to never come back. I ordered two small green apple slushed, a small watermelon slush, a large cherry limeade and a large strawberry white coconut Sprite. *sigh* they only got the green apple slushes right. :/ They just got new screens, and when she asked me if my order was right on the screen I told her, there is nothing on the screen just a pic of a hamburger. When they drinks came out, most were wrong. :( instead of a large cherry limeade I got a small limeade slush, instead of a straw-coconut Sprite, they gave me a straw-vanilla Sprite, and instead of a watermelon slush, I just got a slush... With minimal flavor. This is so disappointing. This happens to often here. They fixed the cherry limeade right there, but I had no idea the other ones were wrong until I got home. Ahhh Sonic, if I ever get in some bipolar, two faced kind of mode where I want to gamble on good food or even correct food, I may come back. Until then, I've wasted enough time and money here over the past three months and have officially learned my lesson. read more
