I would give this place 0 stars. There is zero customer service. I asked for a milkshake they said they couldn't make one, they said they would make a "blast" which is essentially a flurry. Far too late to say Covid is preventing you from having enough people on staff to handle your customers. Hire more people, pay them what you have to to keep them, and take care of the customers. Open the car stalls for drive-up customers, open your dining room, and manage your logistics so that when someone orders a coke, they can get a coke. This place is a complete joke. read more

Are you kidding me?! My son and I have never been to sonic before and decided to try it today. We waited at the window and when no one said a word thru the intercom we figured it was broken and drove around and waited in line. When we got to the window this teenager says "did you order" still... no greeting... not at the intercom and now not at the window... then this child with no customer service skills says "we were literally in the middle of something" ... I advise her that we had no way of knowing that and that we'd never been here. Then this .....I'm really having a hard time not cussing these "people" out.... but then this young "man" says if we have a big order we have to drive around and walked away.... I said it's me and my son to the teenage girl... she laughs and says he's my manager I have to listen to him and you have to drive back around. Stopped in just now. I waited for 5 minutes for someone to even take my order. I came for the chili and they were out. I order a slinger and it was hard as a rock the meat and bun were both burnt and both hard. The cheese was not even melted o could not even eat it. I can't believe an employee would actually look at that and say hmm yeah I should probably serve this stale and burnt hamburger to someone. I would have taken it back but wondered would would be served to me after I complained lol. I don't expect fast food to be gourmet food but I at least expect it to be edible. The philly cheese steak seemed fresh it was ok on taste but at least it seemed fresh. The xtra large ocean water was good which is the only reason I gave it two stars. The WEIRDEST Sonic I've ever been to. Same delicious food- Sonic cheese tots are probably one of my favorite foods of all time, and their burgers are my favorite of all fast food chains. This Sonic has an indoor dining option, which is weird. Their industrial air conditioner was probably designed for warehouses or factories, because it's so loud you have to speak up to be heard over it. They have TVs to watch, but you can't hear them over the AC and they didn't turn on closed captioning. Since Sonic wasn't designed for indoor eating, their indoor part doesn't really make sense. All of your food is served to-go, so you're wasting the same amount of packaging as if you were eating elsewhere. There's no option for fountain drinks, so there are still no free refills, and you have to ask for things like napkins or ketchup because there's no station for any of that stuff. During busier times, that's probably fine, but on a weekday at lunch I was the only person there so the people working in the kitchen were just trying to keep an eye out through the doorway to see if anyone was there. As you can imagine, this is not a great system- I had to wait for several minutes to place an order and then again to ask for ketchup. They need to have some kind of bell or something. read more

I love Sonic. My lovely fiancé and I are visiting from out of town, and went to sonics for some familiar food. Well, to our disappointment, this sonic does not live up to the company name. We pull up to the drive through and there are two lanes.. I'm thinking wow this sonic must be nice.. that and the fact it looks like you can go inside to order here. Well we should have noticed something was weird when there weren't any other cars in the drive through! So we pull up to order and a robotic voice says welcome to sonic, someone will take your order soon. We didn't wait too long. We placed our order and pulled forward. They gave us our drinks and food and we pulled over to eat in one of the drive in stalls. That's when the disappointment set in. We were not given any straws with our drinks. What are we, some kind of animals, that we are supposed to drink our refreshments without a straw? To make matters worse, I unwrapped my burger and found they put mayonnaise on it when I specifically asked for NO MAYO! Oh and my medium combo came with small fries? You'd think any business would want to make their mistakes right. Well not Livonia Sonics. I tried to walk into the indoor dining area but it was locked. So much for that. I don't know why they would be closed on a Friday afternoon. I tried to press the button on the stall I was sitting at and they answered and said they were only doing drive through at the moment. So I had to pull around the drive through AGAIN to get my burger fixed. If you want somewhere that can handle simple requests and get your order right, this is not the place. read more

So I got my food and went to the next parking lot to eat it because I was starving. Reached in the big to get a fry and it wasn't even hot and the burger wasn't either. Ok, let's start with the positives. The staff is very nice and friendly, and my root beer was great. A perfect amount of ice for the size of the drink. Then, get ready. This is a quite long list of negatives. My burger was cold, I had asked to hold pickles and tomatoes, but still got them, I had to wait a long time to even get a response from the drive through speaker, my fries were cold, and the drive through took about 20 minutes; and that's being a bit generous. My son and I went to Sonic today. It happened to be my 10 year old son's birthday. We ordered our meal and my son and I were talking about his birthday at the register. After we ate our meal and we were leaving one of the workers named Amarah ran out of Sonic and handed my son a vanilla icecream cone for his birthday!! How awesome is that!! Will definitely go back! This location is hands down the worst Sonic I have ever been to. I have given this location SEVERAL chances and they have never failed to disappoint! They have not ONCE gotten my order CORRECT. I like extra pickle, so what do I get? NO PICKLE. OK, it happens. However my food was luke warm at BEST. So I am sure it has been sitting for who knows how long, and yet somehow I am waiting for 15 minutes..... when there is literally NO ONE else there. Tonight was the last time I will give this place my business. I ordered a double bacon burger with no bun and SPECIFICALLY SAID ALL TOPPINGS PLEASE AND EXTRA PICKLE. I got only pickle on two cold patties with hard as nails bacon. Ordered a hot dog no bun, got the bun. Ordered tots with cheese and bacon. I PAID FOR THE BACON and they did NOT give it to me. Not to mention they were so cold that the cheese re-solidified. I also waited 20 minutes and several people ordered behind me only to drive off afterwards out of frustration. This Sonic location opened recently and it's only a few minutes from my home. I'm from the South and Sonics are plentiful there so I like having this one near. I had the cheeseburger combo with French fries, and a lemonade. There is a $.30 up charge for the lemonade to replace the fountain drink. The total for the number one combo was $7.20. Fast food prices continue to creep upwards. The burger and fries were good as I remembered. The lemonade was good also. Very tart. Of course I'll return to this location. It's only a few minutes away. I'll continue to try other menu items. read more

I ordered or was trying to order a sonic blast with peanut butter cup. I was told they only had peanut butter shakes. Well, it went down hill from there. The young man working at the drive-thru was convinced that they didn't make peanut butter cup sonic blasts but they did make Reese's. I said well we're talking about the same thing, guess I'm just saying different words. He began to argue with me about it. Worst sonic ever! Staff closes whenever they want to. Every weekend they have those stupid orange cones blocking all of the drive-in stalls. We actually made it in one today, got our food and wanted to order desert. While STILL sitting in the drive-in stall they say, "Sorry, our stalls are closed now. (It's 9:45 on a Sat. Night and they're open until midnight). You can go through the drive through if you want something else." I would definitely give this Sonic 5 stars, but the only thing stopping me is the employee, Bryanna. The reason I dont come here as much as i would like is because of her attitude. She doesn't say hello, never repeats your order, and if you ask her to, she gets an attitude. She even closed the window in my face without confirming that my BIG order was in one bag. I'm currently a 9 month pregnant woman with the only appetite I have is for food, not unnecessary attitudes.
