I ordered a sonic double cheeseburger and a sonic cheeseburger told them mustard on both with no onions on both. They did not put mustard on either and put onions on both. They tasted like they were pre made and were both cold by the time I got home. They did not offer a receipt. The burgers were the driest I have ever had from a sonic. Not Fresh at all. I would recommend going to the sonic on east side of Los Lunas. Worst experience we have ever had at a sonic. read more

Consistently terrible for years. The staff is rude and makes you feel like an inconvenience. The food is always poor quality and massively overpriced for what you get. Service is incredibly slow--it took over 10 minutes for two ice cream treats in the drive-thru. They also upsized our order without asking and charged us for the largest size. Absolutely not! I don't know if they have a new manager, but the last few years have been horrendous. I will avoid this place like the plague. Your order is always wrong and none of the food is fresh and hot. How are the fries and onion rings always cold? I wonder if they leave them sitting out of the warmer. They take forever if you order any drinks, the cups are always sticky. DO NOT order on the mobile app, they TAKE FOREVER and have forgotten me when you park in a stall. We got our food. They came out quick. The tater tots were cold. I've gone here a few times cuz I actually like Sonic but I would rather drive a little further to the next town over just to get better quality. My son had a kid's cheeseburger with mustard and mayo and they drenched it. It looks like the burger was smothered when we took it out. My burger was cold. Always understaffed. Most of the time you can't order in the stalls or online. Today their credit card machine wasn't working so they were only accepting cash. Don't even bother. The hours are unpredictable. I sat on line for 15 minutes, the car ahead of me had their order taken and when I pulled up to order I was told they were closed. It was 9:22 pm. Hours are until 10pm??? They never have ice cream, always out of things, order is correct maybe 50% of the time. Food is mediocre at best. I used to keep trying, but I am done. I wish I could post a pic of the burger I got. double meat burger. I'm not even sure it's beef. couldn't bite into it the meat was hard as a hockey puck. the meat is thin and about the size of quarter. it looks as if someone took a meat tenderizer hammer to iy and then burned it. The bun appears to be days old. The other two burgers we ordered look like normal burgers. chili cheese fries were sad as well. I think there's maybe a teaspoon of chili and a teaspoon of cheese. My sweet kid split her burger with me so I would have some dinner. I hope someone from Sonic can explain this. I'm tempted to contact the health department. Then when I arrived at the drive up window, the cashier was sloppily eating a shake licking the ice cream off of the spoon and dropping it all over the counter. Words cannot express my disdain for this location. Over 20 visits and they have yet to get my order correct EVEN ONCE. For a time I boycotted this location and still prefer to drive to Bosque Farms if I really want Sonic. The servers here are rude and act like you are not worth their time. We even encountered a situation where the server told us it was not their job to stir the drinks. I love Sonic Drive Ins but I would rather drink from my dogs water bowl than give my hard earned money to this sorry excuse for an establishment. Just had the worst experience at this location. Me and my fiancée went to have a date night, ordered 2 milkshakes. While we were waiting. There were very unruly teenagers cursing, running through the stalls, talking and cussing very loudly, ruining our time there. We proceeded to leave because of all the commotion, called the manager Steve who got very rude and disrespectful to my wife when she called him at the Sonic to voice her concerns. I returned to speak to the manager who defended the obnoxious crowd and even threatened to call the police on me and when these same obnoxious kids approached me to fight me the manager Steve Sisneros did absolutely nothing and actually called them by name, so it was my guess that they were his friends and they were not paying customers they were just hanging around. So now I have to beware when I go there, because of the piss poor management who thinks it's ok to have his friends hang in the lot disturbing other paying customers. Guess that's why everyone was leaving while we were waiting that we're in the stalls as welI. Definitely will be calling corporate in the morning. I stopped going here over a year ago due to slow service and general unreliability. My wife suggested we get shakes today since they are half off. She ordered on the app. I arrive 10 mins later. App doesn't have check in option. Try using the call button. Wait 10 minutes. No reply. Note there's not one car in my entire row. I back out and loop around to get in line. Takes 5 mins for one car to get through. While waiting I notice a car who sat in a stall waiting for service since before I got here back out and leave. Another 3 mins for the next car to move. 2 mins for the next car. We are making progress. 4 mins for the next car. Never mind. Two cars back gets out of line and leaves. 4 mins later I'm up. Tell the man on the dealio and he tells me to pull forward. Two minutes later a guy runs out to hand me my shakes. Its a sonic. Not much to say about it. Its a place to meet up with some friends and hangout. They got drinks that you could make as wierd as you want. The service is about as average as you can get.
