Worst service ever. Sat in parking lot for 30 min waiting for three milk shakes. Will never go here again.

I ordered (at the drive thru kiosk) 2 Hot dogs with "mustard, chili, and onions." The employee read back "mustard, chili, and ketchup?" I said "NO, mustard chili, and onions!" He then read back correctly. I then said "NO cheese. I hate that cheese." he replied, "right no cheese." I did that because almost every time I order an hot dog, the put that vile, gross "cheese product" on them. When I got that order home, it was 2 chili/cheese dogs. NO mustard, NO onions. To my further disappointment the weiners were not fully cooked. They were barely even warm. I filed a complaint witc Sonic this time, and I have decided I will quit visiting Sonic. read more

Horrible experience. Made us pull around to wait for our food (chili cheese coney 2 corn dogs and fries) then when we finally got the food the chili cheese coney was thrown in the bag and all the toppings had went everywhere. The customer service is terrible and our order is never right! We can be the only car in the drive thru and they're going to pull us up, every single time! It never fails, after getting home we notice that something is wrong and it's not worth the drive to go back to get it fixed. There's always young employees and their friends hanging out in the lobby, which is probably why nothing is right, they're not paying any attention! read more

I don't usually like to review fast food places as they are all the same and there's a consistency to them "usually" I'm making an exception for THIS location of Sonic. We had just been to the sonic in Camden and it was around 10pm .. there was 3 of us and our dog and we went out for ice cream as it was national ice cream day. The employee in Camden said "sorry we can't make ice cream right now" and we left disappointed as they were clearly open for another hour ... We headed to the Lugoff location ... we were greeted by Kyrie Johnson .. I have to admit I was expecting to have another bad experience but this girl was the best. What an amazing employee she is! She was super friendly and kind to us. We ordered a lot of extras in our ice cream and at the window they asked us to please pull around. Kyrie personally came out and delivered the order to us and really made our night! She was super friendly and made us forget about the bad experience we had in Camden.. she really went out of her way for us in her kindness to us and our puppy. We were so happy with her I said "I am going to make sure I tell them how great you are!" So here I am on YELP to give her and this location an excellent review. They were clean and the service was prompt and the order was perfect. I have been to the Camden location twice and both times they gave me something that was wrong. There was no personality from the employees either time and they really couldn't be bothered with you. From now on we will only be going to the lugoff location. I suggest you do as well! Edit: within 48 hours the owner/operator contacted me in order to apologize and explain the situation. I appreciated her reaching out. So I will raise my rating and say thank you to, Kim for the follow up. Originally 2stars - The morning of March Tenth, my girlfriend and I stopped by about 9:00 to eat-in the dining area. Only to find the door locked. The hours said they should be open. Hoping this was a minor mistake I was able after quite a few tries to knock on the window and catch the attention of a young man at the drive thru window. He came over and let me in and proceeded to return to his station without a single word. Did not apologize or explain why the door was lock just walked back to his station. We proceeded to wait ample to to have our order taken or to be even just be acknowledged. The young man who let us in couldn't even be bothered to say over his shoulder as he returned to his station someone will be out in a moment. Being hungry and experienced in food service I will admit I grade hard on customer service. But the staff dropped the ball here. Then after posting a piece on facebook we were responded to by the owner and were told the door was locked for safety reasons due to recent robberies. Then we were accused of, I am paraphrasing here, tearing down a locally owed business by the owner. We were shamed for sharing our opinion of a moment, and not the first, where this location has fallen short of some of the most basic customer services expectations. I have been to this Sonic many time time and I'd say 90% of those times my services was fantastic. But, if I may be so bold, you obviously your Sunday morning staff needs a few lessons in serving the customer. First, if you are going to lock the door for safety reason during open hours please post a sign explaining why. This will lead to less confusion and that a customer who is expected and open door their first instinct will not be to turn around, get in their car and leave. Second, If you do need to let someone in a door that should be unlock, apologize for the inconvenience. Also if you are not working the counter and need to return to your station, inform the customer someone will be there to attend their order shortly. When your staff drops the ball, listen to the complaint and reach out before shaming someone for sharing their opinion. It has went downhill the past few years. I honestly think the owners just don't care anymore! The kids they hire are rude and never get an order right!!! Oh yeah I'm a fan. Not just because they have a drive-in and a car hop comes To your window like they did in the fifties But because this is the 1st time I was able to go to sonic. The only one close to me is out West I think somewhere in Tamarac but I have never been there so today was my 1st time. when I pulled in My eyes immediately locked on a picture of a Chicago style hot dog. If you look through my lists on Yelp I have a category that says I fancy a foot long. There was no way I wasn't leaving without getting 2 of those hot dogs to go and an order of cheese fries!! Really delicious with a fantastic poppy seed Bjn Crispy pickles and hot peppers and tomatoes and onions and mustard and of course the hot dog I was in hot dog heaven. Tomorrow I'm going back for their breakfast burrito and I'm getting dad their French toast they also have a holiday special pumpkin custard ice cream which I am definitely getting also. I can't miss that and I'm so glad it's that time of the year when pumpkin is in season. Later on this evening my father said he was hungry for some ice cream I suggested sonic. I got back in my car and drove to sonic and got him a strawberry sundae which was very big loaded with strawberries and strawberry syrup and I actually caught him licking the plastic container it came in clean. I love to see my dad enjoy Eating and the way he tackled that ice cream sundae made my heart happy. I recently lost some weight so I don't wanna go too overboard but I know I can not pass up that pumpkin ice cream concoction that they have. See you tomorrow sonic for breakfast I can't wait to try the breakfast burrito really looking forward to that. How many more hours do I have to wait till breakfast time lol read more

Its food for when your hungry and on the run. They mess up a lot of orders and if you order late your food will be mostly stale and dry. past few years it just gets worse read more

The carhops are rude. I ordered fries and a milkshake the other day and the fries were very cold and plain. The milkshake I ordered was strawberry and banana and it was just straight up strawberry. This was a terrible experience even if it was just fast food. read more
