I noticed the place only got two and a half stars. I gave it three for the entertainment value. Seriously, these people need to be able to accept tips on the card. I go one day when the card reader isn't working. I hand the carhop a card and a cash tip. Immediately, she goes into a speech about not being allowed to "pay two ways". Believe me, writing this review is all I could do to keep from laughing at her. Most of the time, I will sit and eat in my car. Back in 50s, thankfully before my time, people used to do that. Now a carhop is almost guaranteed to stare at you. Let us not forget their inability to take an order. Unable to mention that the number 9 combo is no longer grilled, they are at least able to call it by its new name, Chicken Slingers. But order a burger "all the way" and you get a plain cheeseburger. Never did know when to say "all the way" or "as is". Hurry up and get in there before one of their games becomes obsolete. That is, figuring out how to get ketchup out of them. Are your new menu boards designed for trucks only?Pulled in to order in my car,there is a large order screen right in your face with your sandwiches and strips at the top of the menu board,which I was not able to read other than the name of item,but nothing else as I leaned out my car window trying to see the number of strips.I actually have 20-15 vision.but still could make out the small print,so I left and won't be back and I live in Luling!!Useless read more

If I could give a zero stars I would. Staff is incredibly rude. Every single time. Geneave especially (food runner) has no sort of professional social skills whatsoever totally cold shouldered us didn't even respond instead instantly walked away. Food is subpar. Pretty sure you'll get food poisoning from eating here. Meat wasn't cook thoroughly or looked like it was left out too long causing it to be super dry and disgusting. had the drive-through lady giving us attitude cause she couldn't hear us properly from their shit speakers. Not the best sonic. I ordered 2 croissants, and 2 drinks. It took 30 minutes to receive those items!! The person who took my order was very impatient when I asked them to repeat what they said, considering the speaker was messed up. To top things off, my croissant sausage was burned, and my drinks were wrong! I came back to exchange my drink, and I didn't get a sorry or anything. This Sonic needs new management it seems. I live in Luling and would frequent this Sonic about twice a week for a mild shake. I stopped by to have a shake on Memorial day and it seems they ran out of ice cream. How does a "restaurant" that has a majority of their menu feature some type of ice cream run out? A couple of days later we stopped in again for a shake and they had ice cream but the music that they played was so loud I could not have a conversation in my car. I asked the carhop if they could turn it back down to the normal level and he just turned around after delivering our shakes and left. We finally had to leave because the music was so loud. I am now making my shakes at home. Thanks Sonic management for taking away our nights out. read more
