Food was ok. But wasn't worth the price. Waited about 8 minutes before someone took our drink order. Waitress was nice.

The food is good and the carhops are always smiling and pleasant each time we go. We like that DoorDash delivers from here.

Cherry lime aid sucked. Absolutely not even one lime in it. What is a cherry lime aid without limes...disgusting actually.

This is the best Sonic in the country. The carhops are polite and friendly. The food is good and their drinks are to die for!

Food was pretty good, first time I've been to a Sonic so I don't have anything to compare it to. Service was very good!

Unfortunately, this establishment is drive through only from Monday-Wednesday which is when we came by. Not a big deal, a bit disappointed but nothing an excellent meal can't fix and the menu looked promising However, this place is not built for drive through food. Their burgers were served in paper wrappers which within seconds the grease had gotten through and poured into my lap. The only ranch they had was salad packet ranch and they provided no containers to pour it into. Another example of how they are not set up for drive through operations. The food took a very long time to get to us and when it finally did the burger was disgusting. Had an extremely off taste like maybe the meat wasn't quite fresh and it actually made me sick. The only reason this place doesn't get a 1 star is because the kids meals came on cool cardboard cards that was really neat and the chicken nuggets were not terrible. Other than that, at least as a drive through option I can't recommend a since that is 50% of their operations it's definitely a poor mark against them as an establishment.

My daughter and I visited Otter Cove recently (6-27-2024), and unfortunately, our experience was…read morequite disappointing. My daughter's hot dog arrived cold, and after we brought it to the waitress's attention, it was returned to us seemingly refried, with the bun still cold. This raised concerns about food safety as the hot dog had already had a bite taken out of it. Additionally, while her hot dog was in the kitchen, I took a bite of my BLT and noticed something off with the bacon--whether it was an odd smoky flavor or simply due to prolonged heating, I'm uncertain. At that point, we decided to ask if we could settle the bill for our fries and drinks and find dinner elsewhere. When the waitress returned, she said they could remove the cost of the hot dog but not the BLT (that I had only taken one small bite of before deciding better of it). I asked if this decision came from the manager, but the waitress explained the manager was temporarily unavailable and she had to ask the cashier. She let us know we could wait for the manager and we did, which only took about 5-8 minutes. When a man hung up the phone and approached us, he directly informed us that the general manager had authorized a 20% discount on the BLT but that they could not remove the charge. I questioned whether they were aware that the hot dog had been returned to the fryer after being partially eaten, and if they knew about the bacon issue. He confirmed she was aware and did not correct me when I stated they had put it into a communal fryer that other people's food would also be cooked in. I reiterated that we were willing to pay for what we did consume--excluding the hot dog and the BLT--and leave, but if we were to pay for those items and still must find dinner elsewhere, I would leave a review of our experience. He then apologized and explained he was trying to fix up the place. We wished him good luck, paid for what we consumed as well as what we couldn't safely consume, and left, opting to end our evening elsewhere. Our interaction with the staff regarding this request was less than satisfactory. While the staff was apologetic, it seems they are not permitted authority to make customer service decisions on their own. The handling of our concerns, particularly regarding food quality and safety, left us disappointed. I've previously had positive experiences at Otter Cove, but this incident, particularly the practice of putting touched products anywhere near other people's food or actually IN the shared fryer, is concerning and not reflective of past visits. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in food handling and customer service.

Fabulous from scratch food! Always exceptional servers except for one girl and she was friendly…read morejust not attentive, I think she's gone now. If in doubt just ask for Kimmi, she's amazing but I almost hate to put that out there because so is everyone else...just that one bad apple. I haven't taken many pictures over the ten years we have been going but will say we have NEVER had a bad meal at Buttered Bunns. Nearly everything is homemade and absolutely everything is very good! And I'm a super critic! I'm attaching the pics I do have and will add more as I go, to help the business. They've always been open for breakfast and lunch 7-2 and it's amazing...but now are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday until 8pm. Full menu...but the specials are AYCE catfish on Thursday, steak on Friday and chicken on Saturday. My point in this review is to try and get Buttered Bunns enough business to continue the Thurs-Sat evening hours. It's a 90 day trial that they are doing. And let's face it, dinner in Miami is your choice of numerous Mexican restaurants (FYI the newest one is more expensive and no better that the smaller places), and Mia Bella - a mediocre Itialian joint, casinos, fast food, or Montana Mikes which made a brief rally that I praised here on yelp a few years ago and then they promptly plunged again to the home of extremely overpriced crap! As I say this I also remember Woodys. Always overpriced but the food was good when Jeff owned it. New owners (same as Main Street Cafe) will drive it into the ground soon enough. We do have a few pizza places that aren't national chains but none of them offer anything exciting as far as toppings. Same as or less than the chain places...and Cruisin 66, the new wood fired place is the biggest disappointment of all as far as toppings go. Oh and we did have a phenomenal chicken place -Wing Club- (wings, sandwiches, wraps) until last week when the city condemned their rented building after just giving them a license to operate in said building a few months ago. Talk about some sh*t there!! I think they are getting a food truck now so kiss that one good-bye. Back to Buttered Bunns who has always been good... Consistent, homemade, real, excellent service. We live in the next town over so it's a 30 minute drive for us but we have been doing it each week to support their new evening hours. Please do it with us to help this fabulous small business succeed! I can tell you that you can't go wrong with any breakfast...my fav is two eggs over medium, hash browns crisp, sausage or bacon, and hotcakes! So good!! Lunch is so hard to choose! The chicken strips are bomb! So are their sandwiches and "dinner" options too! The AYCE catfish tonight was the best I've had in a 50 mile radius, or more! Several casinos in Miami do AYCE catfish but it doesn't even compare! And the sides at Buttered Bunns are SO much better! The dining area is open and I love listening to the regulars talking with the staff and each other...we go once or twice a week but are from out of town and only a few servers know us and only from our visits to the restaurant. I think some folks must be there every day, especially for breakfast, but they also know the staff outside the restaurant. Anyway...it's a great place to eat and a Small Business in the small town of Miami. I hope this review sends you in to see them!! Oh!! Also...their pie is fabulous! Especially the coconut cream. Best pie crust I've had in a restaurant ever! Good fillings are common but usually come in a crappy crust. Not at Buttered Bunns, their pie crust is tender, flaky and flavorful! To hold all that amazing filling! Enjoy!!

Food is always excellent and portions are more than enough, and I'm fat lol. Friendly, helpful…read moreservice, very fair prices. No wonder this place is always packed which gives it a lively atmosphere . It's that good. I'll take pics next time.
