We went back to the drive-through window and asked if they could either microwave them or give us some hot cheeseburgers. The girl apologised, took the burgers, and after a few minutes handed us another bag of two cheeseburgers. i am pretty sure those were the same cheeseburgers we gave her. They were both still cold. Skeptical due to the reviews but have always liked getting some Sonic food once in a while. Overall good experience, slightly better food than most fast food places. Food -- Ordered a corn dog kids meal w/ tots and juice, cheeseburger meal w/ ketchup only, tots, & Sprite, a small jumbo popcorn chicken, and small brownie Sonic shake. It was $28 I believe. Overall, food was pretty good. Everything was correct, and they didn't forget sauces. Hot and fresh, and stayed hot until arrived home to eat it. No complaints about the burger or corn dog. But the popcorn chicken ended up being kind of chewy and got several randomly bad tasting pieces, probably won't be getting that again. And the shake was nothing special, even with it being $5, there wasn't much brownie mixed into it and the ice cream noticeably tastes off. It was also much too thick to drink, like a knockoff Blizzard maybe. Just personal preference things, nothing bad really, but not great for the price. Service -- We went through the drive thru, it took a little less than 10 minutes, with 2 cars in front of ours. The food was made fresh though so I can see why, it was a reasonable amount of time. We have been going to Sonic for some time. Over the course of a month and a half, we have been to Mishawaka location at least twice a week (which can be validated with charges on our bank account). We always get the same general items. We returned this past Tuesday. I ordered our usual, two "large" Sonic Blasts, with M&M's and Reese's Cups. The lady on the other end of the speaker said they do not have a large size for the Sonic Blast, and they only have a medium and small. I said that wasn't true and I was looking at it on the menu board and named off. the sizes and the prices. The large was $7 and some change. She said no they don't, and I wasn't reading it correctly. I said fine and maybe I misread it. I pulled up to the window after waiting a while, due to the long line. It is not uncommon for this place to be relatively slow at getting orders out. I gave the lady my card and waited for my order and card. The window opened and they gave me the blasts and then my card. The receipt said $17.29 for TWO blasts, which was for the large size, but they gave them to me in a medium cup. The mediums are around $5 and some change. Then I got some excuse how they don't even have large cups anymore. I said I had just been there a few days ago and got larges for that price. I was told I was wrong. I told the lady I wasn't wrong and that I could prove it. Then she said they just changed it in the past two and a half weeks. I again said that wasn't true and she started getting loud with me. At that time, I could plainly hear another employee loudly say and I quote...Jesus Christ just pull away already. This is NOT excusable! The lady then tried to explain that the owner changed the menu, and the medium cost had gone up and the menu would be changed. I said how is the medium going to be the same price as the large. She said the others shouldn't have been giving us large ones for the past three weeks. I tried to explain that wasn't right and very misleading and they were cheating customers. She said it wasn't them it was the owners, and another girl said you got your ice cream just go away and then shut the window. I will be telling everyone the horrible service we received and how they had up charged me and lied about it and tried to make it look like I was the bad person, and that the owner was to blame. Service was quick. Food was good. We ordered popcorn chicken, bacon cheese burger, tater tots, fries, slush, and sodas. All was very good. The worst part here had to do with the small spaces between the drive-in places. We could barely for our Ford Flex in there. Can't imagine a bigger vehicle fitting at all. Seriously, don't eat here. First, I don't know if it is common sonic policy to not provide free refills on soft drinks or just this one. But it's something that basically EVERY other restaurant now does. If you want to charge $.50 for the price of the cup, ok, I get that. But full price for a second beverage, no! I've come here many of times for years, mostly out of habit. Their chili cheese cony dogs is what first got my attention, but then I also found a love of the real fruit slushies. Over the last few years they've became sloppy with their orders. The meat is just sloppy, breading taste a bit off and the drinks have far more ice. If you are looking for the feel of a drive through, then this might be for you, but otherwise it's not worth the trip. I've been to far better Sonics without the hassle of having my order messed up on every single visit. Sometimes they tell me the drive in section is closed when I ordered ahead for pick up. Sometimes they loose my order completely or give me an iced drink that should be hot. They don't even bother with napkins either. In this particular order my slush is most definitely not a strawberry real fruit slush. I would say it is probably a lime and cherry slush without any real fruit. It took exactly two sips until I was in pain because that's what I can't have. They also completely forgot my hot coffee with the two additional creams. When they finally gave me the right coffee, it still didn't have the creams and I didn't feel like bothering yet again about my slush. read more

Waiting for 4 minutes in the drive thru before they even took my order. Had to wait for 15 more minutes to get my order (a popcorn chicken mean and a Diet Coke). As soon as I got the food there was a large nasty hair on the chicken so I took it all back and asked for a refund. They told me to throw out the food and then only refined me the amount for the popcorn chicken. This means I ended up paying $5 and change for 2 drinks. I called the store when I got home and was told that they were busy and the refund was correct. I said I didn't agree and the manager said that the refund was correct. I called the corporate customer service line and gave all my info. They said the management above the store would reach out to me. It's been 2 weeks and no response. We came thru the drive thru about 7:30 on a Tuesday night. Ordered 2 cheesy bacon pretzel dogs. They were out of pretzel buns and asked if we would be okay substituting a regular bun. I agreed. They were both combos, one with a cherry Dr. Pepper and onion rings and one with an unsweetened iced tea and mozzarella sticks. We also ordered a banana split and an additional cherry Dr. Pepper and a strawberry shake. Total came to $37.23. We paid and got everything except the shake. Absolutely despicable. This place is literally trash. People are rude and service is terrible. We waited in line for 30 minutes and got stuck in line so we couldn't leave. We wait at the speaker for them to take our order for 10 minutes then the worker tells us they're not taking orders anymore. They still had 20 minutes till close which is ridiculous that they didn't tell us earlier that they'd stop serving 20 minutes before closing. Will never be coming back here again the last couple times our nerd slushies barely had any nerds, just made very poorly. The parking is weird, this was my first time eating Sonic. Overall it was a pleasant experience. The parking was a tad bit too close and the waitress was a bit ditzy. This is the worst sonic I have ever been to. I'm a big fan of sonic, and this one is near my house. I usually order a strawberry limeade slush, and I have never had one made correctly at this location. I keep trying hoping they'll get it right, but they are always consistently miscalculated.
